When Darkness Is All You See..

Last night, I think I finally got threw to Kelley. To not fear me. I kinda let myself into her dreaming mind so I can tell her, how much I care about her, and how much I have to. I think she understands the situation, and instead of trying to avoid it, I guess you would say she has learned to embrace it.

I walk out of Kelleys kitchen with a plate of eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast with grape jelly, followed by a nice tall glass of orange juice. Kelleys regular breakfast.

I walk into kelleys room to find that Kelley isn't in her bed, but Is staring outside the window, only in her dark tank top and sweat pants that I had to put her in myself. Her shirt had been ripped of, and he pants where removed.

I knock on the door, with my knuckle. I did not want to be an intruder, I want Kelley to trust me as quick as she can, because it is just awkward and a little un easy at the moment.

She jumps a little at my knock, and looks at The door to see me. She walks back by her bed but does not sit.

I set her breakfast down at her night stand, she takes it in to realize that I am still here, taking care of her after what had happend last night.

"Oh..um thanks." She whispered loudly.
"I will be right back, I have to feed my cat.." She announced with an almost smile as she halfway made her way to the door.

"No, it's okay. I will do it. I love cats." I generously walk past swiftly back into the kitchen. I hear a thanks over my shoulder.
I find the cats food and food bowl, with the name Crow on it. I put the regular food in the bowl, shake it a bit to get that cats attention, and set it down.

Not two minutes later, a black and white kitten comes purring in.
I make my way back to Kelleys room. I see her enjoying the breakfast that I made her, the look of amusement kn her face.

"Wow. This is really good.." She told me, quickly after she took a bite of sausage and a sip of her orange juice.

"No problem. Your hurt."

She paused for a moment, and then stared up at me with confused eyes. "Was that dream.."real" yesterday?" She asked me. I understand her question, so I nod my head, as I sit in the chair I propped up by the bed.

"Well... If it's true, then." She paused I'm assuming to find the word she was looking for.
"You never did tell me what you where?" She gave me a questionable glance. She wants answers. She already put her plate on the nightstand, sitting up on the bed with her arms wrapped around her. Her morning hair waving, a light brown.

"Oh.. Well have you ever heard of an incubus?" She nods. She is very smart when it comes to things like this, just being around her you can tell that she uses her mind, and that she is a very big thinker.

"Well, I'm an incubus. I feed, I live forever, but If I do die. Well, I go to hell. It the generations have change. Incubus use to feed off women in there sleep. We use to crave for sexual relations. But that changed. when I am mad or angry, my teeth become noticeable, and my eyes change to yellow if I feel hungry, sad, or angry.

Kelley winced at me.

"Like they are now?" She quitly asked. I turned to the mirror on her wall, and they where a dark yellow. I am sad. I sad because I can't really hold her.

"Yea, that's because I'm sad." I blush. She stands up, leans over a bit. And drags her fingers on the side of my face, making me look dead into her eyes. She looked amazed.

"Why are you sad?" Her voice cracked as she looked deeper into my eyes. I close them to turn back to my normal crystal blue. I open them to see her still staring at me, knowing if I do not answer her easy question, I will be stuck staring into her light chocolate brown eyes.

"Because..your scared of me." I look down. She places her index finger under my chin and raises it, so we are staring at each other again.

"I'm not scared of you.." She whispers. You don't realize how bad I just wanted to lean in and kiss her, I have ripped a girls tongue out with my mouth, but I want a real kiss, with Kelley. I want to just love her like I was supposed to.

she he takes her finger off of my chin and wraps her arms around my shoulders. Embracing me into a hug. I am okay with this for now. I bring in her scent. Sweet vanilla and honey, with her scent I can just go crazy. It's one of the little things I love about her.

"So.. If we're "bonded" does that mean..." She was looking for an answer as she fully stood up, holding herself, while looking down at the floor.

"It means that we are made for each other. That I will protect you no matter what. And well.." I drift off not wanting to scare her.

She he motioned for me to go further.

"Well.. Technically your my mate now." I look to the floor.

She understands by an 'ohh..'
"I'm really sorry I bit you."
"It's okay.. I'm actually kind of glad it happend."
Kelley smiled at the idea. I stand up with her.

"So tell me more things about you. Since you know a lot by me." She softly spoke.

"Well. You may not know me that well, but I actually know you a lot." I was honest with her.
"It feels like I have known you to. Forever actually. Like that I have been with you everyday of my life."

"that's the bonding kicking in. If an incubus bites a human, they are bonded for life, so both the two people in the group feel closely connected."

"Oh." I got one step closer, but she did not move. But she bit her bottom lip, and she stared at. Me.

"If I try something, would you be mad at me?" I questioned.
"I don't know. It depend what you want to try." I felt my eyes turn a bright green.

"What do green eyes mean?" She asked as I took one step further, as the space between us got smaller and smaller.

"Happiness, lust, desire.." I drag my fingers up the side of her arms, giving her goosebumps.

"so, can I try one little thing?" As I closed the space between us. My eyes still glowing green.

"It depends. What do you want to try."She gave me a half smile, she leaned into my chest like I have known her for years. I bend down and whisper into her ear. I also left a frail of my warm breath on her earlobe as well.

"Can I kiss you?" I whispered every more silently into her ear, sending goosebumps on her neck. I look at her deep in the eyes to see her bite her lip down, knowing that she is thinking about my question. She nods.

I lean down, and slowly connect my lips with hers, feeling the softness. The wholeness, the passion. Her soft warm lips just felt so right in mine. It felt like we were supposed to do this. Just as I was about to pull away, she pulls me closer, grabbing into my shirt and kisses me back.

When our lips are connected, it felt as if a piece of me was missing. You could tell she felt the same way. We felt the bond between us.

"Woah.." She whispers as she deeply looks into my eyes, searching for the answer To find out what just happend. I smile as I realize I just kissed my mate. And I know I will not wbe able to live without her.

Are things moving to fast to slow? U tell me. A lot happend in this chapter, the kiss, and the feelings they have for each other are so fast, because they are bonded already, giving them that feeling for each other. Just putting that out there.
