Days Are Numbered

The house was dark, surely it wasn't that late. Pulling her phone from her leather jacket pocket, she checked the time. Midnight!? She had no idea how it could possibly have gotten so late. Everyone was already asleep so she deciding to have one last cigarette before she headed inside.

The blissful sound of Asking Alexandria kept Leia company as she stood outside taking long drags from the menthol stick balancing between her delicate fingers, running a hand through her ebony hair, she began to doubt everything.

Her usual reluctance to let anyone get close had failed her, she was letting Andy in without a second thought and it terrified her beyond belief. Leia was known back home as a bit of a wild child. The typical art student. Rebelling against everything, not taking no for an answer and just generally doing things her own way, no matter what the consequences. She never gave a shit what anyone thought but her need to be accepted by Andy was so over powering. She was scared that he would realize she wasn't as fun as he thought, he would realize she was average. He wouldn't want to be her friend.

Sighing, she stubbed her cigarette out and pulled the brass handle of the front door, quietly locking it behind her. The large neutral colored hallway was deserted and the old house was eerily quiet. The only light was from the moon, illuminating her path up the short staircase and down the hall to her room. Black walls and band posters stared back at her as she flopped on the double bed, her star wars bed sheets clutching her in a tight embrace. Quickly stripping herself of her tight skinny jeans, black doc martin boots and white vest top, she curled up under the covers. Not even bothering to remove her makeup, she fell into a dreamless sleep, a smile lighting up her features.


Andy approached his apartment and was deafened by the sound of blaring music and drunken laughter. Pushing the door open reluctantly, he was met with the smiling face of Ashley.

''Hey there buddy, surprise! I decided to invite some chicks over. Hope you don't mind. You're welcome to come join if you like?'' With a wink he took a swig of his jack, losing his balance slightly in the process.

''Go home Ashley, you're drunk'' Patting his best friend on his shirtless back ''Ill pass thanks, but have fun'' He pushed past the throng of sexy girls. Blondes, brunettes, red heads... All with minimal clothing and more makeup than necessary. This was Ashley's idea of fun but not his. He'd never really been a fan of one nights stands - unless he was really drunk - even with the countless number of girls who came through the door.

He walked through the small groups of females that dominated the living room, he eventually made his way into his bedroom, locking the door behind him. Stripping from his clothes he crawled into bed, checking his twitter and sending out a few tweets.

''Beautiful women all over L.A but you're the only one who caught my eye''

''Set This World On Fire in 8 days. Get ready!''

His first tweet received a reply from CC

''Aw shucks you're making me blush;)''

With a low laugh, Andy turned his phone off and wrapped himself tightly in his duvet. His excitement for tomorrow was battling his need for sleep. After tossing and turning for what felt like hours, Andy finally drifted off.

I'm sorry for not updating but I will get a few chapters up in the next few days hopefully!
I've noticed i'm basically keeping up to date with the time right now, but setting it 2/3 years ago... I do apologise for that.
