Never Give In, Never Back Down

A week later...

"God I can't believe it's Christmas already!" I sqealed as Andy puts the final ornament on the Christmas tree. Time for the crowning jewel. The star! "I call putting the star on Biersack!" I screamed. He looked at me skeptically before waltzing into the other room.

"I'm going to put on some music, ok?!" Andy screamed through the house, scaring me and sending me sprawling across the floor.

"OKAY!!" I shouted back picking myself up and grabbing the step ladder. Andy reappeared a few minutes late with his phone and the dock. After a minute or so sound started blasting through the speakers. It was "I saw Daddy Kissing Santa Claus by Stand Still." I started laughing and singing along, soon Andy joined in. Suddenly half way through the song the player quit for a moment before starting back up with a classic Christmas song.

"Oh my God, Andy! I love this song!!" I ran over to the dock and turned it up before beginning to sing.

"I really can't stay!" To my surprise Andy joined in.

"But, Baby, it's cold outside." Oh. This could get fun...

"I've got to go 'way." I walked over to the door.

"But, Baby, it's cold outside." He stood between me and the door.

"This evening has been..." I sang with my arms around his waist

"Been hopin' that you'd drop in." I saw a glimmer of laughter in his eyes.

"...so very nice." I let him go and turned around.

"I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice." He bellowed, taking my hands in his.

"My Mother will start to worry." I pull my hands out of his and turn my head over my shoulder toward the door.

"Beautiful what's your hurry?" He asked taking my chin between his thumb and forefinger, making me look at him.

"And Father will be pacing the floor." I fake looking worried and begin to pace between Andy and the door.

"Listen to the fireplace roar." Andy led me to the living room just as the door opened. I didn't care who was there we were singing and I was going to keep going whether Andy did or not.

"So really I'd better Scurry." I head toward the door again seeing it was the rest of the guys, and their girlfriends.

"Beautiful, please don't hurry." Andy grabbed my by the waist and turned me toward him. Everyone else was laughing.

"Well, maybe just a half a drink more." I concede, Andy runs toward this kitchen while singing his next line.

"Put some records on while I pour." I pretend to grab some records and put them on a turn table.

"The neighbors might think!" I gesture to everyone else, now on the couch.

"Baby, it's bad out there." He handed me a glass of what looked like eggnog.

"Say, what's in this drink?" I ask as I sipped and tasted the whiskey.

"No cabs to be had out there." He wraps his arm around my shoulder leading me further into the house.

"I wish I knew how..." I sing with a questioning look toward the others.

"Your eyes are like starlight now." He looks deep into my eyes.

"...to break the spell." I continued staring into his beautiful eyes.

"I'll take your hat..." He grabs a fake hat off my head and tosses it toward CC, who fake catches it. "...Your hair looks swell!" He patted my head quickly.

"I ought to say No, No, No, Sir!" I turn and once again head for the door.

"Mind if I move in closer?" He pulls me against him and wraps his arms around my waist loosely.

"At least I'm gonna say that I tried." I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"What's the sense of hurtin' my pride?" He smirked and beamed a smile toward the others.

"I really can't stay!" I gently push away from him and his face has mock hurt plastered across it.

"Baby don't hold out." He opens his arms toward me still looking hurt.

"Aw, but it's cold outside!"

"Baby, it's cold outside!" We sing roughly at the same time and I begin to turn toward him again.

"I simply must go!" I turn toward the door and bite my finger like in an old movie when a girl tries to make a hard decision.

"But, Baby, it's cold outside." He grabs my hand lightly.

"The answer is no." I turn back toward him slightly

"But, Baby, it's cold outside." He whines a little and huffs his shoulders.

"This welcome has been..." I squeeze his hand.

"How lucky that you dropped in." He pulled me closer by the hand.

"...So nice and warm." I wrapped my arms around myself and hugged running my hands across my arms.

"Look out the window at that storm!" I race to the window a small smile on my face.

"My sister will be suspicious." I give him a knowing glance and he slightly blushes.

"Gosh, your lips look delicious!" He came up behind me.

"My brother will be there at the door." I glanced at him over my shoulder.

"Wave upon a tropical shore." He wraps his arms around my neck and sways us a little.

"My maiden Aunt's mind is vicious." I pull away and lean against the window sill, pointing a finger at him like a scolding mother.

"Oooo, your lips are delicious." He sneaks a small peck from me.

"Well, maybe just a cigarette more." I pull out my pack of Marlboro's quickly.

"Never such a blizzard before." He shrugs his shoulder and takes a cigarette from my outstreched hand.

"I've got to get home!" I put a jacket on and perch my cigarette between my fingers.

"But, Baby, you'll freeze out there!" He grabs my waist again pulling me to him.

"Say, lend me a coat?" I turn to ask and hold my hand out to put one in my hand.

"It's up to your knees out there!" He points out the window and I turn to look.

"You've really been grand!" Everyone busts out laughing at this. I grab the door knob quickly and wave a little toward Andy.

"I thrill when you touch my hand." I blush a little and look at the ground.

"But don't you see?" I look toward him then the door.

"How can you do this thing to me?" He gestures toward the door and then his junk, whining. The others are sprawled across the floor laughing.

"There's bound to be talk tomorrow." I slide into his arms again.

"Think of my life long sorrow..." He hugged me closer.

"At least there will be plenty implied." I get really close to his lips before pulling away again.

"...If you caught pneumonia and died." I slapped his chest lightly.

"I really can't stay." I walk toward the door.

"Get over that old doubt." He wraps his arms around me from behind as I open the door.

"Aw, but it's cold outside!"

"Oooo, baby, it's cold outside!" We sing again roughly at the same time, as the ending instrumental is playing I pull Andy outside with me and shut the door. We both topple over laughing because, when I yanked him out the door we actually fell onto the ground. He suddenly stopped laughing and pushed a few stray hairs from my eyes. He looked down to my lips then back up, a nervous look in his eyes.

"Oh just kiss me Andy." I felt his lips collide with mine as fireworks errupted behind my eyes, like they do every time I kiss this man. He smooths his thumb over my cheek lovingly and wraps his palm around my neck, arching my head and sliding his tongue against my lip beginning to be let in. A few moments later I concede and his tongue enters my mouth. My body starts to feel hot from his and I think he noticed because, he slipped my arms out of my jacket. Not a second later he trailed hot kisses down my cheek to my neck. When I felt his hot mouth against the hollow of my neck
I couldn't help but cry out his name.

"How about we continue this inside?" He looked down at me, our breath had hitched and we were breathing sweet oxygen deeply into our lungs.

"We have company Andrew. That'd be rude." He looked a little disappointed but, helped me up off the ground, kissing me softly. "I never said anything about tonight though." He chuckled as I opened the door. We rounded the corner hand in hand and were met by loud applause coming from the others as well as Jake's phone. We gave each other cheesy grins before bowing goofily toward our 'audience.'

"Wow, didn't know ya had it in ya bro." CC piped up patting Andy on the back.

"Alright,..." I screamed. Everyone stopped and stared at me. "...LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!" I put on a mix of Christmas music and bands we all liked before going to the kitchen to make a round of drinks. A few minutes later Ashley entered the room closely followed by Andy. Andy tangled his arm about my shoulder looking skeptically at Ashley. Hopefully this will blow over soon.

"Ya did great Ash." Ashley said before he got a far off look in his eyes and took a glass of eggnog and whiskey before walking back into the other room. I felt bad, I really did. I turned to Andy and buried my head into his chest. I got a tight hug in response and a kiss on the top of my head. God, I love this man. I am so lucky.

"You know you just said that outloud, right?" Andy inquired into my ear. "...And I'm the lucky one." He said kissing me softly before leading me back into the living room.

A few hours later...

"Time for presents!" Everyone gathered around in the living room. CC, Jake, and Ashley lounged on the couch while Jinxx and Sammi took the loveseat, Ella was in the kitchen grabbing herself another drink and Andy and I sat in the floor. I jumped up and headed over to the tree when Ella emerged from the kitchen and sat on the edge of the sofa strokign Jake's hair. I grabbed the first present and handed it to Ashley.

"Here ya go, it's from me." He looked up surprised but, took the present from my hands. He tore the paper off revealing a plain brown box.

"Oh, cool! I got a box you guys!" He smiled and we all chuckled for a second before he tore into the box as well. Inside was a set of finger-less gloves and a star necklace. Eventually he will find out I had it engraved with the quote 'I'll never let you down, I promise right here right now.'

Next I hand out gifts to everyone from Andy and I, once those were out of the way everyone else hands their gifts out. I got a new notebook, some band merch (both Black Veil Brides and other favorite bands of mine), an xbox and some games, and from Ashley I got got a gold bracelet with my favorite Black Veil Brides lyrics on them. Andy tensed up for a moment when I hugged him but, otherwise the evening went off without a hitch.

"Shit!" I jumped up almost scaring the life out of Andy.

"What?" He grabbed my hand as the others stare at me questioningly.

"I forgot I put your gift in our room, Andy, everyone stay were you are I'll be right back!" I dashed to our room hitting my hip on the door frame as I burst into the room. I grabbed the tiny box off the bedside table before running back to the living room and handing Andy the gift.

"Well, Open it!" I hear Ash say as I shake the box trying to tell what's inside. I already told her I would give her her gift when everyone left, and no it's not sexually.

"Ok, ok!" I hold my hands up in surrender. I rip the paper off the box and pull up the lid. Inside is the most glorious batman wallet! I pull it out and open it, something falls into my lap. I look down and there is a little opaque plastic bag. I pick it up and open it emptying the contents into my outstretched hand. The weight of it surprises me. I looked closer, it was a silver bullet necklace and it had words engraved into it, I could feel them. I turned the necklace over in my hand and smiled when I read 'I love you more than I could ever scream.' It was in her fancy cursive script but, I could still read it. I got up and kissed her softly. When I released her lips she dug into her back pocket and pulled out a card. Handing it to me she sat back down. I opened and read it, a touching but silly card, fitting her personality. At the bottom she signed her name with a little heart and MY heart skipped a beat when I saw what she had written in the P.S. section.

"And P.S. ..." Ash jumped up and slapped her hand over my mouth before I could read anymore. Her face was beet red and everyone was laughing. I looked down and read it over again 'P.S. you'll get another gift tonight....me.'
