The Unbreakable Broken

I can't believe it. She's still with him. After everything he said and did. I need some help on this. I decided I would call the only person who knows the worst part of her life. Hannah. To the eye it looks like Jennifer knows everything about that girl. But Hannah is the one that talked Rachael out of jumping off the balcony at a party when they where both drunk and a little high. I remember the story like it was yesterday. I would love to forget it. Fifteen minutes later Hannah was sitting on the bunk across from be. Her blue eyes seemed to hold a happiness that was contagious. "Why did she pick him over me. What does he have that I don't?" And just like that her eyes turned sad and grey.
"That's a long sad story Bret. One worse than the flying one. It's almost as sad as one of her songs about Austin."
"tell me Hannah. What happened." I asked pleading
" she fell in love with a boy. he wrong kind of boy. His name was Wayne and she was so distressed by Austin's death that she couldn't see the terrible things he was doing to her. And Jennifer was blinded by her happy friendship with her that she never saw it either. But anyway, she thought she was in love. He made her a wild child. She got drunk off of whiskey and scotch. Not champagne and wine like we all thought it would be after her record deal. This was before our band. She also got high. Not just weed but crack, meth, and lsd too. She was awful. I remember one night I went with her and she snuck out the window of there fourth story window apartment. he had her wrapped around his finger and didn't give a shit. One night he asked for pictures. The special kind. So she did it. The next night was the party. He showed them off to all his friends. And then she was teased. She got really drunk and high and so did I. Then suddenly we where on the balcony. And you know the rest of the story." She seemed down a little now

"so what she decided that all guys like that are great?" Hannah snapped her eyes at me and I instantly regretted what I said. There are three things I fear in this world, loaded guns in the hands of my girls father, Rachael drunk, and Hannah's disapproving look.
"no. You of all people should know. She was in love with Austin and he was great. He loved her. He was good for her. But then he died. In her mind that equaled out to be that he was sick of her. And somehow in her mind Wayne was the best thing that happened to her. So now she doesn't really know whats good and whats bad. Jennifer has a fairy complex where everything is ok. But it isn't. And as long as Jennifer tells what she thinks happened thats ok. It makes Rachael feel better."
"was he the guy who told her." She knew what I meant.
"yes. He bought her minimum food and held her hair back when she threw it all up. He was an awful awful man Bret. Believe me. Most of us are on you side. She deserves better. " she smiled then jc came in and she was off with him. They make a cute couple. To bad both of them are taken

Next chapter will be a turning point. Then after that I think ten chapters tops before its over.
