The Unbreakable Broken

I was watching Andy and Rachael make up near the trash can when Jennifer came in. "So is he gonna make her leave?" I asked. Implying her father. "no." She said simply plugging her phone into its charger. "Why do parents never care about there children?" I asked exasperated from the combination of my parents and hers. "They care about her. Believe me. He just can't make her leave. He learned that lesson a while ago." She said laughing a little. "What do you mean?" I was curious about Rachel's past. Jennifer seemed to be the only person with an idea of what it was like. "back in seventh grade, her mother had her and they did some pretty crazy stuff. This was during the summer so when she came back she Was a wild child. Her dad tried to stop her. He did it verbally, physically, and churchly. It didn't work. She then made a band and went on tour. He could never hold her down. In fact the only people that could are me, Siobhan, and Andy. Maybe Hannah I don't know."
So that was it. She became wild one summer and her dad gave up on her. "So thats it thats the story? That doesn't mean he gives a shit about her. And you guys talk about Siobhan like she's Hitler reincarnation. And since when does hannah have an influence."
"wow slow down. What you need to understand is that he was always there. He was always there to talk to her. He was her constant through this hell that has been around forever. Just like most dads are. Only drop out dad's aren't. And Siobhan is just the exact opposite of her. She's scary because she would risk her life for her sister. Just like Rachael would. Its what best friends do. Now Hannah. Rachael and her are closer when she's not on tour. Rachael stays up all night sometimes just to make sure she's ok. Shes there to help her out of the heart break when her love breaks up with her. She reprimands her when she does something stupid. Like a mother does."
"you make my parents and best friend sound awful. Which they are. But still."
"thats what we all say. Your parents are always there for you.you just gotta open your mind up to the possibility that you're shutting them out. As for Lilly she left because she could see that you would be ok. Just like you are. And it wasn't your fault you gotta stop blaming yourself. Life gets better."

Notes

So I'm still sick not as sick but still sick and Siobhan is pronounced shavon. Its Irish. So Jennifer is strong in the story. Bret comes next. Then I'm thinking its time for a twist. Hannah will become a major part in the rest of the story and the sequel
