We're Setting Worlds On Fire

Cat Fight!

Lily watched as the guys ran around on the stage, laughing and living it up as the crowd sang along with them. She, unfortunately, was standing right beside Angel, who was scowling with her arms crossed over her chest. Lily knew that this girl had to be Lattie in disguise-it would explain so much. The over obsession with Andy, being clingy and the fact that she was a stripper. Everything that Lily had seen about female Demons who had come to Earth had shown that they liked to become strippers. It was freeing for them and it also allowed them to partake in some of the most sinful acts on Earth.

Lily looked to Angel, seeing that the girl was scowling even more as Jake moved to get his acoustic guitar and she knew what was coming. Andy loved singing this song and Lily did remember that she always loved to hear him sing it. But that didn’t mean she was just going to fall at his feet and be with him again.

Lily mirrored Angel’s stance and crossed her arms over her chest as a hush fell over the crowd and Lily’s heartbeat sped up. What was going to happen when Andy began singing? Would Angel freak out? Would she run out on the stage? Lily knew she would have to distract the girl, so as Andy and Jake began to play, Lily turned towards Angel and smiled.

“I always liked watching the guys play.” Lily said with a soft smile but Angel was having none of it. Okay-two can play this game.

“Yeah, I just wish some songs they would leave in the past-no offense.” The girl was smirking at her, daring her to say something…to do something.

“I completely understand. I mean it must be rough having to compete with someone who isn’t even interested in Andy anymore.” Lily said, her voice filled with sarcasm and hatred.

“Oh honey…I’m not worried about the competition in the slightest.” Angel quipped and the two girls lapsed back into silence for a bit. Lily looked to the side where Angel was standing and she couldn’t leave well enough alone. She would catch this girl in a lie somehow…some way.

“So, Angel-where did you say you were from originally?” Lily asked and she watched as the small girl sighed heavily and trained her brown eyes on the blonde next to her.

“I-um-I’m from Florida. Yeah, my parents live in Florida still.” Her face fell slightly as her brown eyes met Lily’s lavender ones and the Angel could only smirk.

“Oh, wow. So what brought you out to LA?” Lily asked and she smirked as Angel sighed and fully faced her. That’s right, I’ve got your number and I know what’s going on, Lily thought to herself as she looked at the brunette before her.

“Well you know that old thing with wanting to be an actress and making it big…” Angel turned away, a look of disgust on her face as Andy continued to sing.

“But you’re a stripper…” Lily said and she laughed softly as Angel rolled her overly made up brown eyes and cleared her throat.

“Yeah, what’s your point?” She almost snarled and Lily noticed that the girl’s stance had changed. She had been slightly relaxed at the beginning of their conversation, but now she was more stiff in the way she was standing. She was on guard.

“I just think it’s funny that you came out to LA to be an actress and ended up like every other girl of your race…” Lily said the last part so quietly that only the two girls had been able to hear. Angel said nothing but just cocked an eyebrow and turned to face the stage once again.

The girls stayed silent for a few minutes while the guys finished up. Lily watched as the guys began to run off the stage, but then turned right back around to do an encore. Good-this would give Lily more time to talk to Angel and really see what was going on with the girl. She looked beside her, taking Angel in and Lily felt embarrassed for the girl. She was wearing an incredibly tight dress-so tight that it left very little to the imagination.

Her shoes, red and spiked, were tall enough to give the girl some height and Lily couldn’t even look at her face and makeup job without wanting to burst out laughing. This girl, for all intents and purposes, was a whore and nothing else. She wanted Andy because he had some fame attached to his name and he was attractive. Also let’s not forget that this girl had had a thing for Andy for thousands of years.

“What is that supposed to mean exactly?” Angel asked and Lily only turned to her slightly, a smirk on her near perfect lips as the brunette scowled at her.

“I know what and who you are…no use pretending with me anymore Lattvinia.” Lily’s smiled widened as she used the Demon girl’s full Demonic name. There was a smirk on Angel’s face to match Lily’s as the two girls turned and faced one another fully. The guys had been forgotten and so had everyone else in the small backstage area.

“I’m not the only one pretending here Lily-let’s not forget about who killed me in the first place.” The Demon smirked and as she did so, Lily noticed that Lattie had turned her head to the right slightly. There, behind her right ear, was a small broken heart tattoo. Lily sucked in a breath-Lattie was no longer a Demon…she was something else entirely.

“Self defense my darling…but of course now I understand your obsession with Andy. How much more of his life force are you planning to suck out Lattie?” Lily smirked as Lattie’s smile faltered and she reached a hand up to cup her right ear.

“As much as I can. It’s not every day that a girl like me gets to be with the Prince of Darkness.” Lattie was smirking at her again, her arms crossed over her chest and Lily had had enough.

The Angel flew at the shorter girl, pushing her up against a far wall and there were suddenly shouts filling the air. Lattie’s eyes had changed from their dull brown to a brilliant red color and it was then that Lily’s theory had been proven. She knew, without a doubt, that Lattie was no longer a Demon…she just needed to convince Andy of that fact.

The girls spun around and Lily grunted as her head smacked a nearby wall and she pushed her head forward, hitting her forehead against Lattie’s as the other girl cried out. Lily tried to push out a force field against the struggling girl in her arms, but suddenly she felt incredibly tired. She needed to get Lattie’s hands off of her and she needed to do it now.

Lily pushed the girl away, crouching low to the ground as Lattie flew through the air and then landed on her back with a loud smack. The crowd cheered as the guys finished up and Lily knew she only had moments to prove her point. She stood, walking over towards Lattie quickly, the girl was still laying backside down on the floor, a hand covering her eyes as she whimpered in pain.

Lily held her hands out, her gleaming sword coming forth and as she raised it above her head she looked to the left and saw that the guys were running towards her. Andy looked terrified and Lily tried to move quickly-to end Lattie’s existence quickly-but soon enough Andy had tackled her to the ground and was holding her there tightly.

Girls!” Andy shouted as Lily tried to move out of his reach. Jake was holding Lattie-Angel-around her middle and the two girls tried in vain to lash out at one another.

“She started it!” Lattie cried as she turned and buried her face in Jake’s chest. The guitarist just looked at Andy, his eyes wide as if to say ‘why are you holding the invincible Angel and I’m standing here holding your crying girlfriend?’

“I’ll finish it too! Let me go Andy!” Lily tried to throw up a force field to get away from Andy, but Lattie had completely drained most of her Divine Energy. Lily knew she would have to meditate later tonight to even be able to function tomorrow for their training session.

“No! You two are not going to fight over me and kill one another!” Andy shouted and Lily rolled her eyes as she finally seemed to be able to get some minimal strength back and broke free from his grip. She faced him, her hands on her hips as she stared right into those blue eyes of his.

“This isn’t about you…it’s about her and what she really is.” Lily said, her voice calm and yet there was a tone of danger behind it. Andy looked between the two girls-Lily was standing with her hands on her hips, her eyes flashing with anger and Angel was standing there with her arms crossed over her chest and giving him a doe eyed look.

“What are you talking about Lil’?” Andy asked as he finally moved towards Angel and took the girl into his arms. She was shaking and he felt bad, but he couldn’t get rid of the feeling that Lily was right.

There always seemed to be something off about Angel. The way she moved and talked it was as if she was hiding something. Andy had also noticed that he constantly felt tired after having been around the girl and even though she was amazing in bed, it still didn’t curb the fact that there was something off about his little angel. He held her, his hair getting in his face and Andy knew that his makeup was running down his cheeks at this point, but they had to get to the bottom of things.

He looked to Lily, who had a pleading look in her eyes and he knew that he owed it to her to hear her out. Without saying a word Andy signaled to Lily that he was ready to hear what she had to say regarding his girlfriend.

“This girl-she’s not human…it’s Lattie Andy…” Lily said and Andy laughed, but that laughter died in his throat as he felt Angel stiffen in his arms and he could hear the growling coming from her throat. Oh God…ew.

“B-but Lattie died…you killed her yourself Lily…” Jinxx said, stepping up to stand beside Lily. He placed a hand on her shoulder and while Lily appreciated the gesture, it was not needed. She was sure…she was positive.

“I know, of all the things I remember from being human-that is one I will never forget…” Lily said and Andy couldn’t help but notice how sad she sounded. Lily had been human once and as a human she had taken a life and he knew how hard that could be on someone.

“Lattie is dead Lily…she has to be.” Ashley had finally spoken up and Lily suddenly felt a stone land in her stomach. This had to be really hard on him-he had already lost his sister once…he couldn’t lose her again.

“Oh for crying out loud!” Angel growled as she pulled away from Andy and snapped her fingers twice. There, right before their eyes, stood Lattie in the human form she had taken before Lily had killed her. Ashley looked faint and Andy looked completely disgusted and Lily just could not keep the smile from her face.

“Bu…” Andy was flabbergasted and soon enough everyone had joined Lily’s side and were all looking at the Demon girl before them. How had he not known? How had he not noticed?

“And I’m not a Demon! I’m a Succubus…there’s a difference.” Lattie defended and Lily chuckled as Andy stood beside her. His face was masked in pure horror and shock and Lily kind of felt bad for him. He was honestly just looking for someone to care about and this girl had just been using him like a fucking walking happy meal.

“You’re still dead.” Lily growled as she moved forward, but someone stopped her. Andy was holding her by her arms, his face stern as he looked down at her before looking at Lattie.

“Go. Leave and don’t ever come near us again…” He said and Lattie only smirked as she blew them all a kiss and then spun around. The room began to fill with smoke, a sickly sweet smelling smoke that was light purple in color. Finally Lattie had vanished and everyone was left standing around in awe.

“Why would you let her go?! You’re such a fucking idiot!” Lily shouted as she broke free from Andy and pushed him roughly before stalking off towards the dressing room.

“Why did you let her go man?” Ashley asked from beside Andy and the singer only smiled as he watched Lily stalk off and he knew he would have to follow her.

“Because she wasn’t going to hurt us-she isn’t a Demon anymore and all she can do is drain our energy…” Andy said as all of the guys began to walk back towards the dressing room. It had been a long day and they were all exhausted and yet they knew it was all just beginning.

“Besides…she was never really mine to begin with…” Andy said softly as they turned the corner and Lily came into view.

She was sitting on one of the couches, a pout on her lips as she looked off towards one wall and glared. Andy said nothing as he walked over to her, holding out his hands and he stood there until finally she looked at him. Lily couldn’t resist him-even after seven hundred years she knew she would never be able to resist Andy. She took his hands and the two of them walked off towards the back doors to do what needed to be done.

Notes

Surprise! Thought you'd seen the last of me...*sorryAmericanHorrorStoryreference*

So, yeah...Lattie's back and better than ever and Andy just let her go...don't worry...she'll be back sooner or later.

@FallenAngel26

Aww I'm so glad you liked it! This series was really fun for me to write because I was able to put so much imagery in to it.

Just finished this series and oh my gosh! I can honestly say that a fan fiction had not made me cry until now. This story hit me right in the feels, expecially the 'just tonight' chapter. It just makes me so sad that they love each other so much but they can't be together. Anyways I love your stories, they are some of my favorites on this site :).

I just have to say that after reading this I now look at God Bless You as a way of telling Satan off

@Truly A Teenage Runaway

Aww well thanks! Start with A Love By Mistake as that is actually where this story is supposed to go. I warn you-I have A LOT of work haha so it may take some time.
