OK, so being backstage was pretty awesome. And, after the concert, we get to meet the band! Which means I get to meet Ashley! I have never been so exited in my life! They played all my favorite songs, and I sang to every single one of them.
"WE ARE THE FALLEN ANGELS!"
"You seem like you are having a good time."
"Well of course! I'm in heaven!"
"Just wait till we meet the band."
"I know! That's the part I AM waiting for!"
After playing 'Smoke and Mirrors' and 'Youth and Whiskey' right after 'Fallen Angels', the concert was over. The band walked past us, on the way to sign some after-concert autographs. As they walked past, Laura said:
"Awesome job!"
"Thanks," They all replied, and each looked at us and smiled. Ashley though, paused.
"Ash, you coming?" Andy asked.
"Yeah." He said slowly, walking away just as slow.Was it just my imagination, or were we just staring at each other? And did he wink at me as he walked past?
"OMG! You just had a moment with Ashley Purdy! He totally winked at you!"
"I didn't just have a moment with Ashley Purdy. He probably just likes the face makeup. And he didn't wink at me."
Did I? Does he? Did he? I'm so confused.
