"Come on. You are the biggest Ashley Purdy fan I know. Why won't you go to this concert?" My friend Laura was bugging me to go to the Black Veil Brides concert. Again.
"Because."
"Because why? Come on, you are even doing your makeup like his. It's as if you are planning to go without me." She pouted, he perfectly full lips becoming even fuller. I wish I looked like her. Perfect body, hair and face. Everything a guy wants. Her hair I REALLY envied It's a natural red, which I love, but, her being emo (like me), she dies it black. Hers actually holds the color. Not mine. Me? Yeah, I have an OK body, and an OK face. I'm average. Average hair to: Brown. I'm 27, and just found the Black Veil Brides a couple of years ago. Sure, before that I listened to things like Pierce the Veil and all that, but I didn't like them as much as the Black Veil Brides.
That's when I fell for their bass guitarist, Ashley Purdy. And I fell hard.
"Letsgoletsgolestsgoletsgo!"
"Arrghh! OK, I will admit, I was going to surprise you by showing up. Did you really think I would pass up a chance to see him in person?"
"Cool. Now I don't need to tell you were we are going to sit." She smiled, as though it was a big surprise. She scored backstage passes. I already knew.
"I can't wait to see." I finished up my makeup. "There. I think I will leave my hair as it is."
"Yeah. It looks good like that. Now lets gooo!" She dragged me out the door, and we were on our way.
