I never expected this...
Why MY dressing room?
"WHOA! PARTY IN DRESSING ROOM!" Once everything had settled down with Laura, Andy, me and Ashley, CC had begun to get louder and louder...and more hyper, too.
"OK, I'm fine with a party, but why my dressing room?"
"Truth be told, I think we were all worried about you." Everyone but Ashley agreed with Laura. Ashley just smiled.
"I just wanted to hang out with you is all." Everyone started talking, CC being the loudest. That's when I realized Ashley had come over and started rubbing my shoulder and staring at it. I looked at him confused, then realized I was wearing a black tank top and my cropped leather jacket had slipped to reveal my shoulder...and my cut marks. Damn it! Why did I have to slip up now? I quickly covered it back up. Ashley shot me the 'We are most defiantly talking about this later' look. I bit my lip, but nodded.
"Huh. Look at the time. Five minutes." Andy stood up, pulling Laura with him. "We better get going guys." We all stood up and started walking. Before we got all the way there, Ashley pulled me aside, and told the others to just walk ahead.
"You are about to go on stage for the first time in seven years. Are you ready?” I shook my head. He kissed me. Gently. “I will repeat; are you ready?” My mind was blurring a little bit, but I was still scared. I shook my head no again. He kissed me again, a little harder this time, but he was still being gentle. “Last time,” he play growled. “Are. You. Ready?” I shook my head again, still the tiniest bit afraid. He groaned and kissed me again. Not being gentle at all. He forced my mouth open and shoved his tongue inside. By the time he was done, my mind was blank, and my lips were raw and puffed out. He pecked my lips gently, and asked again. “Are you ready?” This time, I nodded. I was tempted to shake my head no, for another one of his kisses, but I knew it was soon time to go up. I pulled out my lipstick and tried to make myself as presentably as I could as we walked back.
We got back to everyone else, and they all stared, blushing and with guilty looks on their faces.
“You didn’t spy…did you?” I asked. They hesitated, and then nodded.
“ARRGH! WHAT DOES A GUY HAVE TO DO AROUND HERE TO GET SOME PRIVACY!?” They laughed, us alone with them. Then it was time. Andy went out on stage.
“Hey. Tonight, we are going to do something a little different.” Laura and I quickly tuned our instruments and got right behind the curtain, so that we were the first thing they saw. I didn’t notice the people backstage until they spoke to us.
“Good luck!”
“See you after the show!”
I looked at them. Two girls, around fifteen. One had makeup like Jinxx and the other like Jake. Well, well, some people had fans. I nodded and said ‘Thanks,’ then got Jake sand Jinxx’s attention. I pointed to the girls, and they smiled and walked over. That’s when I heard my cue.
“Presenting, for the first time in seven years, The Guitar Girls!” I hit every note on my bass, and then the curtains went up.
Show time.
And, thanks to Ashley, I wasn’t the least bit nervous.
