A Melodic Sound

I giggled as Andy fed me a chocolate covered strawberry. I smiled at him, knowing I had chocolate all in my teeth. He laughed and pulled me into hug. "I don't know what I'd do without you." He said kissing the top of my head. "Same goes for me." I said kissing his jaw line.

"You know I've been thinking a lot lately about..." Andy said trailing off. "What is it? Babe come on, you know you can tell me anything." I said grabbing his hand. "I just don't wanna freak you out. I mean we just got married." He said looking down at our intertwined hands. "No. I promise whatever it is, it's fine. Just tell me. You're scaring me." I said worried.

"Melody I was wondering if...you wanted to start a family?" Andy said looking scared. "A-andy I...." I stuttered in shock. "See I told you it would be to much for you to handle right now." He said standing up and walking to the edge of the pier. "No! It's just..I mean your gonna be on tour all the time and.." I said tears in my eyes. "Look baby it's fine. I understand. You don't have to get upset." He said wiping away some of my tears.

"It's just that I have been wanting to start a family really bad lately too. I just didn't say anything because I didn't want to hold yours and the guy's careers back anymore than this marriage and honeymoon already are." I said looking down at my feet.

"Melody you need to know that my family and friends come before anything else. Especially you." Andy said lifting my chin to look him in the eyes. "So you want kids?" I asked making sure we were on the same page. "Yes! Of course. It would give me so much joy and happiness to see little girls as beautiful as their mommy running around the house." He said smiling. "I can't wait to see little boys as handsome as their daddy." I said giggling.

"Come on. We need to go in and pack. We go home tomorrow." Andy said wrapping his arm around my shoulders. The whole way back to the house was silent, but it was a good kind of silent. The kind that everyone needs every now and again. A kind of peace. I couldn't stop thinking about starting a family with Andy. I couldn't wait to get back and tell the guys, Ella, and Sammi.
