A Melodic Sound

So it has been four days since the incident with Andy and..the voices. And everything is going great. Andy took me scuba diving, hiking, and to a couple nearby restaurants. Tonight though we are going to some kind of super fancy restaurant. Andy told me to dress cute but comfortable though, so I'm kinda worried I'll be underdressed.

I went into mine and Andy's room to pick out my outfit for tonight. Almost every night so far, I've been wearing heels and fancy dresses. So honestly I don't know what I have left. I looked through my suitcase, until I saw a gorgeous black dress. I pulled it out to examine it, because I hadn't seen this one the whole time.

I laid it out on the bed. It was a high-low and made of a flowy material. The back was open with purple diamonds and it parted in the middle, so that your belly would show. Knowing this, I began searching back through my suitcase, closet, dresser, everything. But I couldn't find anything else. "Oh no." I said to myself. I never wore anything like that. Because I can never get past the fact of how self conscious I feel to get the point of feeling pretty.

"Andy? Do I need to wear a dress tonight?" I called out to him. "Um..yeah probably!" He yelled back. "Shoot." I whispered to myself. I started looking through my shoes. Not wanting to wear heels again, I looked through everything else I had. Not finding anything, I looked one more time. That's when I spotted them. Converse the same color as the diamonds on the dress. "Perfect." I said to myself. I felt Andy wrap their arms around my waist. "Just like you." He said in my ear.

"You ready to go?" Andy asked. "Yeah let me change real quick." I said running to the bathroom with my shoes and dress. I changed and pulled my hair into a cute bun. I brushed my teeth and walked out the door. "You look beautiful." Andy said kissing my cheek. "You look nice too." I said looking him over. He was wearing a suit and purple tie. "Thanks. Ready to go?" He asked. "Mhm." I said grabbing his hand.

Andy walked me out onto the pier. On it was a table with a purple cloth on it. There were white and black roses in the middle. Andy pulled out a chair for me to sit in. "My lady." He said playfully. "So this is your idea of a super fancy dinner?" I asked giggling. "Well I figured you would enjoy relaxing a little. After all it is our honeymoon." He said leaning in to kiss me. He pulled away and smiled. "What?" I asked smiling back. "Minty." He said.
