What It Is To Burn

All Of My Heart

Andy looked around, but he couldn’t find Dess anywhere. It was almost time for them to leave and while most people were still dancing and having a good time, Andy really just wanted to grab Dess and take her upstairs to their room and get that gorgeous dress off of her. His blue eyes scanned over the room and Andy laughed as he noticed that Ashley was dancing slowly with Aunt Kitty. The old woman looked like she was in Heaven and while Ash probably wasn’t enjoying himself completely, he was smiling down at the old woman and he seemed to be laughing at her jokes.

Finally Andy spotted Dess, her white dress standing out amongst the crowd as she was over by the DJ, her guitar in one hand and a mic stand in the other. She seemed to be adjusting the height of the stand and Andy cocked his head to one side as he looked at her and tried to figure out what she was doing. She tapped the mic and there was a small amount of feedback and Andy watched as she smirked at him and cleared her throat in to the mic loudly.

“Hi everyone!” Dess said loudly and she smiled as everyone turned to face her, including Andy and Dess felt her heart beat quicken as those blue eyes locked onto her face. He smiled at her, slight confusion lacing his features but he still looked gorgeous.

“I just wanted to thank everyone for coming to this party and for being here to see me marry the man of my dreams. I do have one last parting gift for you all, but really this is for Andy and I hope he understands where it’s coming from.” Dess nodded her head as she closed her eyes and then opened them once again as she looked to her right. Andy followed her gaze and he smiled as he noticed that Kellin and Justin were standing off to the right of the small platform she was standing on.

“Oh! I want to thank my good friends Kellin and Justin for helping me with this whole thing this past summer-I owe you guys!” She smiled at them and then Dess locked her eyes on Andy and he felt his breath leave his chest.

She was so beautiful standing up there underneath the dim lighting. Her hair had started to fall out of its pins and her eyes were closed slightly as she plucked at the strings, her wedding ring and engagement ring shining out towards him softly. Her dress was floating around her in the soft breeze that was coming in through the open flaps in the tent and Andy was suddenly reminded of their first Halloween together. Jinxx and Sammi had planned a huge Masquerade Ball and Andy had been nervous as he had planned to confess his love for her then, but he had been unable to hold it in and so it had come out earlier the day before.

Watching her walk towards him then and watching her walk towards him down that aisle and now knowing that she was his wife-his destiny…it brought a tear to his eyes. She was such a wonderful person and he could not even begin to think about where he would be in his life if it weren’t for her. The band had been successful of course, but he as a person had been floundering and on a path with little direction. Ashley had tried to help him down one path, but Andy knew that that path would only make him unhappy in the long run.

No, as Andy looked up at the love of his life and as he moved closer towards her until he was finally right in front of her, he smiled. She had been his path in life-it had been bumpy and full of roots to trip over, but they had walked down that path together and now here they were-destined as one. Andy held his breath as finally Dess began to sing and he realized that he faintly recognized the chords coming from her guitar.

There's so many things that I could say
But I'm sure it would come out all wrong
You got something that I can't explain,
Still try and try and let you know

“I don’t get it Dess-what is so special about this guy? I mean you sound like you’re head over heels for him and you’ve only known him three days…” Kit’s voice was doubtful on the other end of the phone and Odessa only rolled her eyes as she repositioned the phone to her shoulder so she could stir the hamburger she was browning.

“I-I can’t explain it Kit Kat. He just makes me feel like I used to…before dad got sick and before I decided I needed to grow up. He makes me feel alive…” Dess said, her voice dreamy and she knew that Kit was rolling her bright green eyes at that very moment.

“I mean it sounds like infatuation and I know he only wants one thing…they all do D.” Dess huffed loudly as she moved to the sink and began to drain the hamburger for their taco dinner. Moira, Trish and Brady were upstairs and Dess smiled as she heard a familiar voice sing out to her from near the stairwell.

“Kit just because you’ve had some dogs in your day doesn’t mean every guy in a band only wants one thing…” Dess said, her tone frustrated, but then she smiled as she thought about those crystal blue eyes. She hadn’t wanted to say goodbye to Andy, but he had a tour to finish and she couldn’t just abandon her job to run away way with him.

“He only wants one thing-all dogs do and that’s the pussy cat between your legs babe.” Dess scrunched up her nose and sighed. Kit obviously wasn’t getting it and she probably never would.

“Alright then. Well I’m leaving now and go ahead and call me when you get that anti-love stick out of your perky little ass Katrina.” Dess hung up the phone then, puffing out a breath as her bangs floated out from her face and hung back around her ear.

Odessa knew that things with Andy seemed like they were going quick, but there was something about him that just made sense to her. He was smart, funny, gorgeous and he made her feel like she could be anything she wanted to be. It was so hard to explain to other people-shit even to herself-why Andy seemed like such a good guy. He was in a band, something that would normally turn Dess off as most guys in bands just seemed to be concerned with a handful of things, but Andy never seemed like that. He hadn’t pushed her towards doing anything she didn’t seem interested in, besides touring with him for the rest of the summer of course.

She smiled as she moved around the kitchen, trying to get everything ready for the teenage storm that was going to come bounding down the stairs as soon as she called for dinner. Dess stopped thinking then and she smirked as she heard Andy’s voice calling out to her and instinctively she looked down at her phone and realized he had sent her a selfie. Of course there was a message attached and as Dess opened it she couldn’t keep the smile off of her face.

Andy: I miss you more than you could ever imagine…Skype with me later <3

Dess only shook her head as she put her phone in her back pocket and called for the girls. Kit didn’t understand, no one ever would probably, but deep down Dess knew that this thing with Andy could be the best thing to ever happen to her. To both of them.

That first summer we spent one we'll never forget,
Looking for any kind of reason to escape all the mess that
We thought was what made us
Ain't it funny now? We can see
We're who we're meant to be

“All I’m saying is that I think you need to just come out here and hang with us for a few days.” Andy was pouting again and Dess only smirked as she looked at her computer screen and in to those blue eyes of his and suddenly she felt like she could melt.

“I have work Andy…” She said as she held up the sketch she had been trying to get done before he had called her and now they were arguing slightly. Andy wanted her to fly out to the Midwest, where Warped Tour was currently playing, and hang out with him for the final week.

So? You can work on the bus while I make you lunch and feed you so you don’t have to stop…” He wiggled his eyebrows at her and Dess only sighed as she rested her chin on a propped up hand and looked at him. He seemed so sad and lost and even though it had only been two weeks since they had met-Dess felt sad and lost without him too.

“I can’t just escape my life Andrew…I have to be an adult…responsible.” She said and Andy sighed loudly as his eyes grew dark and he looked right at her with the most serious face she had ever seen grace his beautiful features.

“Fuck that…it’s not who you are Dess. I want to see the real you-the one you told me about from high school…” Andy was pouting again, his lip ring jutting out and Dess wished they were together so that she could reach out and bite down on that pouty looking ring of his.

“That girl is long gone and I don’t think she’s ever coming back Andy.” Dess seemed sad and Andy only crossed his arms over his chest and glared at her. Dess had lost herself-she had told him several times that she missed being the wild and fun girl from her past. So why was she holding back? Why was she letting the mess of her life get to her in such a way?

“Well I think you should bring her back out-come see me and escape that mess you call a life for a while…” He was very persuasive and Dess was tempted, but she just couldn’t bring herself to do it.

“I’ll think on it while I sleep…goodnight Andy.” She smiled at him, making a kissy face and Andy’s face fell as he realized what time it was for her in Virginia. He hated being on tour-Warped was fun and all, but he had really wanted to stay back in Virginia with Dess to spend more time with her.

“No…stay with me.” He was sad looking sitting there with his smudged eye makeup and his teased hair falling in his face, but Dess only shook her head as a wide yawn escaped her lips.

“Say goodnight Andy…” She laughed as she moved in and placed a light kiss to the screen and then pulled away with her sleeve covered hand over her face.

“Goodnight Dess…have good dreams…” He blew her a kiss and she laughed as the screen went blank and her room was filled with darkness.

She usually had good dreams after talking to Andy and as Dess got into her bed and imagined him laying there with her she was thankful. Even though they were thousands of miles away-Andy was her escape from her messed up life where she couldn’t be herself. As she fell asleep, Dess felt that maybe with Andy she finally could be who she wanted to be.

You still have all of my
You still have all of my
You still have all my heart

“I love you. With every fiber of my being I love you so much it hurts to breathe when you aren’t around. I barely exist without you in my life and I can’t bear not having you know how I truly feel about you. You are perfect to me, not just because you like Batman, but because you don’t fawn over me and you don’t let me get all caught up in my own bullshit. I love how you seem to be slowly finding yourself again and I’d like to think that I had something to do with that. Please, just be mine even if it’s only to test the waters over these next few days…I promise if you want to go back to being friends I will understand and won’t ask this of you again, but I’m asking…begging…please can we just be together for this short time?” He looked down at her, his eyes pleading as she bit her lip in thought. Closing her eyes, Odessa felt herself relent and finally she opened her eyes and stared up into his deeply.

Dess felt her shoulders relax as she looked into his blue eyes and she knew in that moment that he was being completely serious with her. They had played around before, joking about loving one another when they did stupid things, but Dess knew deep down that she loved Andy just as much as he loved her, if not more. He stood before her then, his messy hair sticking up and she longed to run her fingers through it. She knew she was only in town for a few days and tomorrow night was the night of the Ball-her white dress needed to be hung up before it wrinkled.

Dess looked around, took in all of the flowers that surrounded her and she knew-she loved Andy. No one in her life had ever understood her love of flowers and their meanings and while she and Andy had only had a few conversations about the subject, it was obvious that he had been listening. He always seemed to listen to her, biting down on his lip ring as he fluffed the back of his long black hair. He was looking at her now, unsure of her answer and she knew she needed to give him one as he looked like he was about to cry.

“Okay. We will try this out while I’m here for the next day and a half, but when you go back on tour and I go back home…I want us to be friends until we can truly see one another every day.” And with that she placed her hands on either side of his face and brushed her lips against his.

Kissing him was like being in Heaven and Dess didn’t want to stop. He had her in his arms in that moment, his strong fingers griping at her tightly and Dess felt safe. She knew her heart was safe in his hands-she was safe with him in every aspect of the word. His teeth searched out for her lip, biting down softly and Dess felt her head go back slightly and his lips were on the soft skin of her exposed neck. She gripped his hair, running the soft locks between her fingers as she tugged and pulled and Dess felt like every cell in her body was on fire.

He had her-he had all of her heart and she held him the same way. They had one another and Dess knew deep down that they always would.

There's too many times I have to say
I could have been better and stronger for you and me
You always make me feel okay

Odessa looked out the window, her tears running down her cheeks as she watched the scenery pass her by. She felt so alone-Moira was gone and in that moment, even though Andy was just in the back lounge watching a movie, Dess felt like she had no one for her in life. Moira had been everything to her-they had been sisters and close friends for most of their lives and as Dess looked at the English country side passing her by she knew that things were only bound to get worse.

She and Andy had been separate for most of the summer and while they were reunited and happy-deep down Dess felt a supreme sadness. Moira was gone, her mother was talking of selling the only house she had ever known and Andy was still slightly preoccupied with the record that the guys were working on. She pressed her hand up against the glass, her tears running down her cheeks and Dess wanted to give in. She didn’t want to be alone-she didn’t want to be without her sister.

She didn’t want to live anymore.

“Babe? What are you doing out here?” Someone asked from behind her and as Dess turned around she wiped at her cheeks quickly, trying to rid them of the moisture that would give her away.

“Oh-um-I just needed to walk around. You know how I hate being cooped up on this thing…” Dess said with a sniff and she smiled at him but Andy could tell that something was off.

“Are you crying? What’s wrong?” Andy asked as he came to her, taking her in to his arms and Dess said nothing at first as she rested her head against his chest, her arms wrapping around his back as her fingers gripped at his shirt.

“I-I can’t do this anymore Andy…I can’t be without her…” She sobbed against him and Andy said nothing as he only kissed the top of her head lightly and rubbed the back of her head with the very tips of his fingers.

“You can do this. You have me…you’ll always have me Dess.” Andy whispered in to her ear as his lips moved from the top of her head down towards her cheek.

“I-I’m sorry…I know I’m usually the strong one in this relationship. I-I just can’t do this…” Dess clung to him and Andy held her up. His arms were tight around her and he knew that while she was the strongest in their relationship-Dess was going through something and now he had to be strong for both of them.

“It’s okay to be weak Dess-I’ll hold you up while you get your strength back…I will always be here to hold you…” His kissed her then, long and slow and as her tears fell down her cheeks Dess felt ashamed.

She had always been the one who was so sure in things in life. If you worked hard you were rewarded and so she had worked hard at everything in her life. Her job, her family and now her relationship, but she had failed when it came to Moira. She hadn’t been strong enough to save her sister and now she was unable to be strong for Andy. As he held her, Andy knew that Dess was losing herself, but he would hold her until she found who she was again. He would be her strength until she found it within herself once again.

Those late summers we spent, stay up talking all night
I'd ask "you think we'd ever make it?"
You'd say "I'm sure if it's right"
Ain't it funny to think just how stupid I used to be
Hope you always believe

“Whatcha thinking about over there Miss Serious Pants?” A voice spoke out to her and Dess only smiled as she looked up from her sketch pad and glanced over towards the couch. Andy was lounging there with his Kindle in his hands and he was looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

“Eh, it’s pouring down rain out there…those poor kids.” Dess placed her hand against the window, her breath fogging the glass as she looked out on the torrential rain that was falling at that moment. Warped Tour always had atleast a few rainy days and this was one of them.

“No…there’s something else going on in that blonde and pink haired head of yours…” Andy said from behind her and Dess jumped as she felt his fingers reach out and move her hair out of the way. She sighed as his lips found her skin and she felt totally at peace in that moment.

“I just-sometimes I wonder if getting married is the right move for us right now. Your fans are already pissed off at you and at me…I just don’t want the band to suffer any more than it already has…” Dess sounded sad and Andy pulled away from her slightly, shock gracing his features. He loved Dess and he knew she loved him too, so where was this coming from?

What? Look babe, if it feels right then it is…this feels right to me…you and I together-forever.” He spun her around, his voice low and Dess allowed him to take her hand in his, holding on tightly as his blue eyes looked down in to hers deeply.

“How are you always able to believe in us as much as you do? You never have any doubts…” Dess said as she looked up at him, her moss green eyes shining with what seemed to be tears. Andy said nothing as he just pressed his lips against hers, his long fingers getting tangled in her blonde and pink hair.

“I love you…I have faith in us-I always have Dess and I always will. Ever since I looked into those eyes of yours I knew that we were destined for one another…” His forehead was resting against hers and Dess could only smile at him as she rested her arms around his neck and wondered silently how she got so lucky.

They stood there like that for a while, both of them enjoying the peace and silence that had befallen their bus. It was almost time for the guys to head to the stage and Dess wasn’t looking forward to getting out in the rain, but what choice did she have? As she looked into his eyes one last time before they parted, Dess felt his love and faith wash over her. She had always had doubts when it came to their relationship-not because she didn’t want to be with Andy, but more because she wanted to be careful with her heart. Dess didn’t give her love to just anyone anymore-she had been burned that way in the past. But she knew as she looked into those bright blue eyes-Andy would always believe in them and she needed to trust that they would always be right together.

Always.

You still have all of my
You still have all of my
You still have all my heart
You still have all of my
You still have all of my
You still have all my heart

“I’ve missed you…” His voice was low and Dess looked into his eyes and seeing the sincerity behind them she nodded.

“I know…I-I missed you too.” She reached out, her fingers running through his growing hair as she stared into his eyes deeply. Those blue pools, the ones that haunted her dreams, were making her feel weak and Dess tried to look away but he stopped her with a finger to her chin.

“Look at me Dess. It’s going to be okay…we’ll be okay.” He spoke softly and Dess felt all of the hurt and sadness come spilling out. She had felt so alone, even when they had been together it felt like she had lost everything and she felt hopeless.

“I don’t know…I just feel like I can’t function anymore. I feel so helpless an-and scared!” She sobbed, her head coming to rest against his shoulder once more and Andy held her, his strong arms wrapped tightly around her shaking frame.

“You aren’t helpless and don’t be scared…I have you. I will always have you Odessa.” His lips grazed over the top of her head and Andy felt like his heart was ripping.

“I-I’m so-sorry fo-for-ev-everything.” She sobbed, her body shaking with her tears as she tried to get her words out. Andy softly placed a hand on either side of her face and moved her head so that she had to look him in the eyes.

“Forgiven and forgotten. I can’t live without you Dess and I will do everything I can to save you from this pain.” His voice was strong, confident. Dess sniffled softly and he smiled as he reached down and kissed her nose gently.

“I feel like I’ve lost everything…even you.” She said softly, her eyes searching his urgently and Andy just shook his head. He grabbed her hand, bringing it to lay on his chest, her fingers feeling his heart pounding beneath her touch.

“Do you feel that? That heartbeat right there-that is for you and only you Odessa. I love you. With everything I am, I love you so much I ache when I can’t be near you. These past few weeks have been torture for me-knowing that you were so close but I couldn’t come to you…” His voice was tearful and as Dess looked up at him she felt her heart break.

He had been there for her-even through all of her pushing him away Andy had never given up on her. She felt terrible and as she looked into his eyes she knew that he held her heart in his tattooed hands. He held her heart with kid gloves and he was always careful to not tarnish it. She knew that he had given her his own heart years ago on that fateful July day and as Dess looked at Andy she knew that they would always have one another. They would always be there for one another when they need to be and that was what mattered the most.

Let them talk and talk and talk
Let them say what they want
We will laugh at the thought they don't know what we've got
Every year that goes by, a year older we are
You'll still be beautiful then, bless your beautiful heart

“Not this shit again…” Dess groaned as she looked down at her phone and saw her face plastered on the screen with the small caption, ‘Poor Odessa Montgomery doesn’t get it that her lover boy is cheating on her with plenty of other fish in the sea’. She was tempted to throw the phone across the room, but that wouldn’t help matters and it would only cause her to have to go out and buy a new phone.

“What’s going on over there?” Andy asked and Dess sighed as she looked towards her computer screen and tried to smile as wide as she could. He was still in LA-leaving Dess home to pick up the pieces of their supposed failing relationship. Sometimes Dess hated the fans-she loved them for the most part but it was shit like this that made her angry.

“Apparently you’re cheating on me once again. Oh babe how dare you…” She laughed and Andy only smirked as he shook his head and Dess held up her phone so that he could see.

“That’s so fucking stupid. God if only they could see us together…just because I’m not there with you doesn’t mean I love you any fucking less…” Andy laughed as he rubbed the back of his newly dyed black hair and Dess only giggled as she rested her chin on a hand and looked at him.

“Two years we’ve been together and still they won’t stop. You sure you haven’t found a pretty girl out there for you to drown your sorrows in?” She teased and Andy only smiled at her softly. He wished he could reach through the screen and tuck that stray piece of hair behind her ear and then kiss her lips softly to show her just how he was feeling that moment.

“Nope-no pretty girls for me. I only go after the beautiful ones and I found my beauty a long time ago. You’ll always be my beautiful dream Dess…don’t ever forget that…” Andy said and Dess felt her smile grow as she looked into his sincere blue eyes.

“How do you always know how to make me feel better?” She asked, smirking at him as she chewed down on her lip ring and laughed as she noticed that he was doing the same.

“It’s a gift. Let them talk Dess…they’ll never know what we have together and that’s fine. You and I know how we feel about one another and that’s more important than anything to me.” Andy said as he blew her a kiss and they quickly signed off with the promise that they would talk on the phone later.

Dess sighed as she closed her laptop and looked around their kitchen. Everything was a mess for their wedding, but the thought of that wonderful day only made her smile grow. They would always have their haters, but with Andy by her side making her laugh it all off Dess knew that they could get through anything together.

They would always be together, no matter what rumors were running rampant on the internet.

They'll talk and talk and talk
How crazy is it?
Someone could waste their whole life, helplessly,
Just patiently waiting for a love like you and me

“I don’t get it Ash-how can two people be so fucking perfect?” Kit asked as she watched Andy and Dess laugh at the kitchen table over something that one of them had said. His tattooed hand was resting on top of hers on the smooth surface and the way he was looking at her was making Kit green with envy.

“You got me…I never thought they would last this long…” Ashley said as he joined Kit in leaning up against the counter and he was having a hard time not wrapping an arm around the red head’s shoulders. Everyone was congregated in the Montgomery-Biersack kitchen and it was two days before the long awaited wedding.

“I know right? God some people get all the luck…” Kit said as she looked over at Ash and her knees grew weak. Why did he have to stand so close to her? Why did he have to hurt her so badly?

“That’s one thing that I think I’m ready for…” He murmured and Kit only cocked an eyebrow at him as she crossed her arms over her chest and looked over at him with a doubtful look on her face.

What? Another chick to throw herself at your pointed toes?” She mocked him, her face falling as she looked at the bassist and noticed the sad look that graced his slender features.

“No…love.” He said simply and Kit only scoffed as she turned from him and began to rinse off some of the soapy dishes that were sitting in the sink. Ashley Purdy wanted love? Well that ship had sailed, sank and was now sitting at the bottom of the ocean when it came to Kit.

“I didn’t know you could love Ash. What did you get some kind of surgery to help you out with that little problem?” Kit quipped but then shivered as she felt his warm hand land on her shoulder and soon he was spinning her around to face the couple sitting before them at the table. Andy was staring at Dess like she was the only thing in the room-in the world-and he had a hand resting gently against her cheek as he smiled at her.

“I want that love. Perfect love where no matter what you always smile at one another-even when things are tense and imperfect. I want what they have…”He said in her ear and Kit felt a smirk grace her lips. If he was playing her it wasn’t going to work this time. Kit had given him a part of her and he had torn it up and thrown it in the air like confetti as he fucked some random girl in the back of his rockstar bus.

“You could have had that Ashley…but you were too chicken shit to try and figure out how to make that work…” Kit said as she turned around and looked up into his chocolate brown eyes. She wanted that love too-she looked at Andy and Dess and felt like something was seriously missing in her life and she hated that feeling.

“I’ll wait for that love Kitty…patiently until finally she decides that that is what she wants as well.” His tone was pointed and Kit only smiled softly as she turned her head to look at the couple sitting behind her. She wanted that love-desperately-but was she ready to take that chance again?

“You may be waiting forever Ash-this girl is waiting for her own love to come and take her away and I’m not sure if that’s you. I don’t think it ever will be…” Kit said sadly as she rested a hand against his cheek before she walked away from him and choked down her tears.

She had wanted Ashley Purdy, but he hadn’t wanted her and Kit wanted a love like Andy and Dess’ so badly she knew she would wait for it for as long as it took. She would wait for it forever if she had to.

You still have all of my
You still have all of my
You still have all my heart

“This house…it’s all ours…I’m the one who bought your house Dess.” At his admission Odessa felt her jaw drop and then she launched herself forward, her arms coming to wrap around his neck as her legs wrapped around his waist tightly.

“I can’t believe you!” She kissed him all over, his cheeks, his eyes, his nose, his ears and finally his lips. They embraced softly before Andy pulled away from her and Dess felt her eyes grow wide as he rooted around in a pocket, pulling out a tiny black box.

“Odessa…” His voice was shaking as Andy looked at Dess as he sank down to one knee and flipped the lid of the box open. She gasped as the diamond and emerald encrusted ring shined in the light and Dess could only look from the ring down to Andy as he stared up at her.

“…I bought this house to make you happy, but I also did it for a very selfish reason-I want to grow old with you in this house. That porch-I want to rock on that porch with you every night until we are old and grey. I want to raise our little blonde haired blue eyed children here-I want to push them on that tire swing every day when I get home from wherever I’ve been. I want you-forever. I want to wake up next to you and to know that you’re mine and I want to watch you raise our family because I know you’ll be the greatest mom ever. More than anything I want to be with you for the rest of my days-good and bad-and I can’t imagine sharing them with anyone else…” He stopped, biting down on his lip ring as Odessa felt like her heart was going to explode.

“Odessa Annemarie Montgomery will you please do me the honor of becoming my wife?” He held the ring box up towards her and Dess reached out a shaking finger to touch the small ring that sat between two cushions.

Her breath was caught in her throat and Dess couldn’t breathe or find her words at first. How could someone do something so special for her and be human? He was kneeling in front of her, holding his heart on his sleeve for her and Dess knew that he would always hold his heart out for her to take. She inhaled a ragged breath and Dess could feel the tears pricking at her eyes. She had never thought someone could be there for her the way that this man had, but he had never left her. He held her when she cried, he laughed with her when she acted goofy or said something stupid and he had loved her unconditionally through everything over the past year. Andy had been there and Dess knew that he always would be there.

“…Yes. Yes!” She shouted as Andy jumped up and took the ring from her fingers as he slipped it on to her left ring finger slowly.

He held her against him, their hearts beating in synch and as he kissed every inch of her face Dess knew that it would always be this way with them. They would always have one another.

You still have all of my heart
You still have all of my-you still have all of my heart
You still have all of my-you still have all of my heart
You still have all of my heart-you still have all of my heart

“Wha-are you saying you don’t want to get married now?” Andy asked, his tone laced with shock. Where had this all come from? Not even an hour ago they were both laughing and cuddling and he had finally felt at peace for once on this tour.

“I-no. No that is not what I’m saying-“ Dess was cut off by Andy, who had stood up to face her and began to raise his voice.

“No! That is exactly what you are saying Odessa! Just fucking say it! Say that you don’t want to marry me!” He was yelling at her and Dess was trying in vain to keep the tears from her eyes.

“I don’t want to fucking marry Black Veil Brides! Okay?! I want to marry Andrew Dennis Biersack-not Black Veil Brides! For fucks sake Andy there was an article in some fashion magazine calling me a black veil bride-do you understand how frustrating that is?” Dess yelled throwing her hands up in the air as Andy just shrugged his shoulders and looked at her like she was crazy.

“Maybe you should wear a black veil at the wedding? It would be pretty epic…” Andy smirked at her, thinking that his boyish grin was going to fix things. He was sadly mistaken.

“Urgh!” Dess screamed, throwing her hands up in the air as she spun on her heel and headed towards the front of the bus. Andy followed her, jogging slightly to keep up with her angry gait and finally they had reached the front of the bus.

Suddenly there was a huge crash of thunder outside, but that didn’t stop Dess as she reached out and yanked the bus door open. The Heaven’s had opened up and Andy just stood on the bus steps, his boots getting slightly wet as Dess trudged on and walked out in to the night. Should he follow her? Andy watched Dess walk away until suddenly he couldn’t see her anymore and when his boots hit the wet pavement he began to run full out. The rain smacked him in the face, his hair hanging down in his eyes but he didn’t care-he loved Odessa and even though they both had said some nasty things he knew that neither of them meant it.

Andy ran past busses and tents-everyone had taken shelter in the busses and as he ran past the fence to the venue Andy noticed that kids were sprinting off towards the parking lot and he couldn’t blame them. Suddenly Andy noticed one lone person standing in the rain, her face pointed up and her long blonde hair was flowing down around her shoulders.

Dess looked up, sighing as she noticed a figure walking towards her and even though her eyes were blurry from the rain, she knew exactly who this person was: Andy. Fuck-she had said some nasty things and even though it’s kind of how she felt, she had never meant for him to hear her words. She was angry and she was even angrier that he had chased after her. He knew that when she ran away it was because she needed to be alone.

As she looked at him, Dess felt all of the sadness and anger grow within her. She had given this person everything-her heart, body and soul. Dess sighed and let a shout escape her lips and as they argued over the crashing sound of the rain and wind, Dess knew that in the end she would always give this man her heart. He had been the only one to never break it or shred it in to a million pieces.

You still have all of my-I've been waiting my whole life
You still have all of my-For someone to save me still can't believe that you're mine
You still have all of my heart

As he watched Dess-his Odessa- walk towards him, Andy couldn’t help but be taken back to the past two years that they had been together. That summer had started out rough-he had broken ribs and none of them were sure of where they were going to be or if he would fully recover, but Andy pushed through. They ended up coming to the tour late, but better late than never. He had thought he was falling for a girl that was on the tour with her own band, but that only turned in to a small fling which had ended almost as quickly as it had begun.

He had been drunk almost the entire time-he was lonely and needed some way to numb himself. Andy smirked as he remembered Ashley waking him up on that hot July morning-telling him to get the fuck up because it was his turn to go check on the merch tent. Andy dragged his feet until finally he left the bus more because he needed time to himself than wanting to check on the merch tent.

Andy knew that if he had never gone to their tent, he would have never bumped into the girl of his dreams-she never would of stuck around for their set and they never would have connected the way that they had. All Andy could remember was standing there, watching the crowd pass by in waves until suddenly there was a small blonde girl standing in front of him fanning herself with one hand as she held onto one of their tent poles with the other. He looked down, about to ask her to move, when he noticed a tattoo-a Batman tattoo. He knew in that moment that this wasn’t any normal girl and that he had to talk to her.

Speaking to Dess had been incredible and it had been nice being able to talk to someone about something other than him or his band. Everything had moved so quickly and soon he was onstage and gazing down in to those beautiful light green eyes of hers. He tried wooing her, but Dess was having none of it, but the first time they kissed had been electric and Andy smirked as he remembered begging her to come on tour with him. For some reason, even in those first few moments he couldn’t bear the thought of being apart from her.

Their time spent apart had been excruciating and it almost made him sad to think back on it. Late nights spent giggling in the darkness until one or the both of them fell asleep. It had felt so good when Dess finally gave in and admitted that she loved him-it made his heart soar to think about it now. Days later a bomb had been dropped and Dess found her world turned upside down with the sickness of her sister.

Andy vowed to stay by her side-he couldn’t leave her in her time of need and he stayed with her until finally they had to say goodbye to the one girl whom they both loved. Andy felt his tears grow as he remembered that day, but he sniffed loudly and the memory changed. Seeing Dess finally accept him and to accept his proposal and the idea of their house together had been one of the best days of his life. Holding her, loving her-he couldn’t imagine a life without this amazing girl.

As she finally made her approach and Andy could see that she was holding her bouquet with one hand while the other gripped something else he smirked. Andy knew what she was doing and he had his own flower to hand over to her as soon as she got near enough. Dess smiled at him as she faced him and Andy moved to pull her veil up with one hand-his other was gripping a small white flower as she cried and looked down at his hands. He only smirked as Dess revealed her own flower and soon they were facing one another, their hands held out as Dess passed her bouquet to Kit silently and then she laughed.

They were both holding Camellia flowers out to one another-they held one another’s destinies in their hands as they smiled and knew that this was it for them.

This was their promise of forever.

Notes

*wipes at eyes* This is my favorite chapter of the entire series, except maybe a few in the final installment-Together Burning Bright.

Alright, well that's pretty much it for the Wedding-TWO CHAPTERS LEFT! Ugh it's been a long road kids-a very long road. If you guys want to I will keep updating this every day until we get to the first chapter of the next story, but I still need those five reviews!

Hope you loved this as much as I did<3

@Broken Wing
Here's my problem, though. As I am starting the final series, I won't be able to go to my regular computer because it's broken, and I can't view certain chapters on my iPad. So now my mom knows why I'm suddenly in a bitchy mood. :/
