New School, New Life

The rest of the day went by in a blur, some teachers were great, some not so much. Twice Haley was forced to ask for directions to the next classroom. By the end of the day she was more than happy to throw herself down onto one of the huge beanbag chairs in the common room and close her eyes for a moment.

She opened them a moment later to see who joined her on said beanbag, arching a brow in silent question when she saw Andy sitting next to her. "So, what do you think of the place Hail," he asked as he moved her bag to her other side so he could slide closer.

"It's huge and I'll need a map," she replied softly as she shifted to go to her room.

"Hey now. No need to leave because I show up," Andy said gently grabbing her sleeve and pulling her back down. "Hey guys," he said as he looked over her head and waved the other four over, soon Haley found herself in a group again. It seemed to her that the five guys had decided she was to be a part of the group regardless of what she had to say about it.

"So Haley, what are you working on for orchestra?" Jinxx asked when he noticed she seemed to be remaining silent and un-involved.

"Oh, um just a small piece," she said, surprised that she was being pulled into the conversation.

"Can you play it for us?" he asked as the others leaned close, abandoning their conversation in favor of listening to her.

"Oh, um. Well it's not exactly ready yet. That is to say, I'm still not sure I've finished writing the notes yet. Um, maybe in a few days, after I've had some time to work on it more," she said nervously.
