Ash POV
After Andy leaves, I look down at the girl. "Alex, right?"
"How did you know?"
"Nicole told Andy a little bit about you, and he told me. You were at the signing yesterday. I remember you."
She looked surprised. "You remember me?" She tried to hide a smile.
I smile back. "Yeah, you're pretty hot."
Her smile turns into a frown. "I'm hot?"
"Yeah, very." I say. Why does she seem so upset? I mean, what girl gets upset when I, of all people, call them hot?
Alex scowls, starting to walk away. "I'm a girl, not a temperature."
Oh great, now she's leaving. Then I remember one of the things Andy told me: If you like a girl, never let her go. I guess if I want to try to actually fall in love with someone, I gotta give them a chance.
"Wait, Alex."
She stops and turns around slowly.
"I'm sorry." I say. "I guess most girls like being called hot."
Alex smirks. "Well I'm not like most girls."
Yeah, I can tell. Then I smirk. I know what I'll try. I slip off my shirt revealing my tattooed body and hand it to her.
Se gulps. "Um, what?"
"Your shirt is wet, so you can wear mine."
"Th-thanks?"
A young lady suddenly walks up to me. I think she works here. "Excuse me, sir. You have to wear a shirt in here."
I smirk. "Well maybe you should give me yours."
The lady blushes and walks off, flustered.
I hear Alex chuckle behind me. "Inappropriate. But funny. Let's go to a bathroom so I can change."
I nod, following her. When we got there, I waited outside while she went in. When she disappeared, I pulled out an extra shirt I had in my shopping bag that I had just bought today.
Alex POV
It took a moment for me to realize what had just happened. Nicole and I just casually ran into Andy Biersack and Ashley Purdy. No biggie, right? Wrong. And now he's letting me wear his shirt. I could have went out to Nicole's car and gotten a new shirt, one that I had just bought, but I didn't want to say no to him offering it to me. I slip my shirt of, and put on his. It smelled strongly of the body spray he used and it made me think he was there, right next to me.
I quickly snapped out of it and walked out of the bathroom, seeing Ashley with a black T-shirt on.
"Wow, how did you..?" I start to ask.
He smirks. "I just bought this shirt today."
"Oh."
"So what do you want to do?" He asks me.
What do I want to do? Hm.. We could get lunch... but last time I did that I spilled it on myself. We could always check out the rest of the stores. Or we could just walk and talk.
"I have somewhere we can go." He speaks up, interrupting my thoughts. While he leads me through the mall, I use a hair tie to tie back the shirt in the back so its not so long and big on me.
We're here." He announces.
I look up at the store. It's a music store with CD's, guitars, pianos, and even some violins. Once we're inside, I head to the right and Ash goes to the left. I pick up some CD's. ACDC, Motley Crue... they don't have any recent albums in the store, but that's okay. This is the type of music I like.
I turn on my heels, expecting to see Ash, but I don't. Where'd he go? Knowing him, he probably ditched me.
"Wow, really, Ashley?"
"Really, what?"
I turn on my heels quickly coming face-to-chest with Ash. I look up so I can see his face. "Oh, there you are."
He smirks, pushing his bangs out of his chocolate brown eyes. Every movement of his seemed perfect. But his words usually ruined it.
"I'd never ditch you, dear. You'd get lost in a place as big as this." He taps my nose as he turns and goes back towards the guitars.
Get lost? I think he must be mistaking me for one of his ditsy blondes. This mall is so small its impossible to get lost in. I make sure Ash is still looking at guitars, his back turned to me. He can't just treat me like his other girls. Like I'll do anything for him because "I'm so in love."
I put down the CD I was looking at and walk right out of the store. I wonder if he'll even worry about me when I'm gone?
