Alex POV
I rubbed my eyes, still tired from the lack of sleep. I lift my head, realizing I had fallen asleep in my concert clothes. My door suddenly opens, causing light to flood in. I groan, pulling the covers over my head.
"Wake up, lazy head." Nicole says in a sing-song voice. I hate that she has so much energy and enthusiasm so early in the morning.
"I don't wanna."
"We're going shopping." She reminds me. I groan again. "You'd better be in the car in fifteen minutes, okay?" And with that, she leaves.

When we get to the mall, Nicole drags me into practically every store. First we went to a dress store. I look through some dresses on the racks, gagging to almost every one of them. They were either to ruffly, sparkly, or tight. What the hell. I don't even like dresses. Why am I here, again? Nicole suddenly hands me a red dress. "Try this one on."
I stepped out of the dressing room, feeling very uncomfortable. It was too short. Too tight. And it made my chest area look bigger. I liked jeans and T-shirts so much better.
Nicole smiles when she sees me in the dress. "It's perfect!"
"What, are you crazy? It's too small!"
"Alex, dear, it's supposed to be tight. You're getting it."
I roll my eyes. "It's not like I'll ever end up wearing it."
"Well you never know, okay? Just get it. It looks great on you."
"Fine."
I got the dress and a pair of black wedge ankle boots. At least I'll have better balance in them than I would regular heels. Nicole decided to get two dresses and one pair of heels. In the other stores we both got shirts, jeans, and even some skirts.
Nicole suddenly gasped loudly, nearly scaring the shit out of me. "We forgot something important!"
"What is it?" I ask.
"Underwear!"
I give her a weird look. "Um, what?"
Nicole ignores me, walking quickly into a Victoria's Secret. Oh. Underwear. I follow her in, buy a few items with her, and get back out. We better not go into any more clothing stores. I can only handle so much shopping at one time.
Nicole POV
"Hey." I say to Alex. "Wanna go to a food court?"
She sighs in relief. "Finally, food!" We go out to the parking lot and put our bags in the car before returning to the mall for some food. When we get there, there is a very short line and we have our food in no time.
We were about to turn a sharp corner when I run straight into someone's chest, and I hear a small splash sound. I look over to see a wet spot on Alex's shirt, where her soda was spilled.
"Nicole?"
I look up at the person I ran into, my eyes widening. "Andy? Um, hi."
The man next to Andy chuckles. "Sorry about that, babe."
Alex gives him an annoyed look. "Yeah, thanks, Ash. I just love being covered in wet, sticky soda."
Andy and I stare awkwardly at the situation before us.
Andy POV
I can't believe I actually found her. And Ashley and I were just dropping in for a quick snack. What a coincidence we would run into each other... literally.
"So, uh, do you want to join me for lunch?" I ask her.
She answered without hesitation, "Sure."
I smile. "Okay, let's go." I look back at Ash and the other girl. "You two can just hang out for a while. See ya in a bit."
