You Saved Me

Jinxx's POV: When I pulled into the studio's parking lot, I'm a little stunned to see Ashley's bike in the drive. What's he doing here at this hour? He's usually taking Katie to school at this hour, so this is something completely new to me.
I park, then walk into the studio and find him absent mindedly playing a random riff on one of the many guitars that line the walls in the small room. I walk into the room, then sit on the sofa, pulling Ashley from his thoughts, and he looks at me with blank eyes.
"Something wrong, man?" I ask after a moment.
He just shakes his head, his fringe falling in front of his eyes, and he flips it out of the way, blinking rapidly.
"You know Katie's school started a half an hour ago, right?" I ask. He nods this time, but remains silent, so I ask, "You not going to take her to school today?"
"Nah. Jayy and Dahvie called me last night. They think I should just give Katie some time to clear things up in her head," he tells me, then returns to gently strumming the guitar in his hands.
Hmm...
Katie's POV: As Red and I meet up in French class, two girls I've never seen before walk over to us and the one with lavender and white hair asked, "Umm, we're new here, and I was wondering if you knew where we could find our next class. Would you mind?"
"Sure, what is it?" I ask her.
"French," she says, showing me her class schedule.
"That's our next class too. You just want to walk there with us?" Red offers with a kind smile.
The two girls look at each other, then shrug and the one with blue hair asked, "Would you mind?"
"Not at all," I say, "So, what are your names?"
"I'm Chelsea and this is my twin Kelsea," the one with lavender and white hair says, pointing to the blue haired girl.
"I'm Katie, but we usually go by our nicknames here, so you can call me Micro," I tell them, "And that right there is Elizabeth, but we call her Red."
"Do you two have nicknames like that?" Red asked.
"Um, no. At our old school no one liked us, so the closest we got to a nickname was bitch," Kelsea says.
"You thinking what I'm thinking, Red?" I ask, looking over at her.
"You know it, Micro," she says.
"You look like the name Bunny would work well for you," I say, pointing at Chelsea, "What do you think?"
"Bunny? I love bunnies, so I love the nickname," she says, smiling at me.
"And you seem quiet. What should we name her?" Red asked, pointing at Kelsea.
"Hmm...I'm going to say Echo. I know it's the opposite of what you said, but I think it fits. How about you guys?" I offer.
"I-I like it," Kelsea quietly whispers, a smile gently playing on her lips.
"Me too," Bunny says.
"It's perfect!" Red says happily, then says, "Hey, you guys have any plans for after school?"
"Not really," Bunny says, shaking her head.
"You should come with us to the pier. Red and I were going to have a girls day anyway, and you're both more than welcome to join," I explain, already knowing what Red had planned.
"If you don't mind, that would be awesome," Bunny says, smiling and gently elbowing Echo.
That's when Clover came out of no where, and bumped into me so hard I dropped my books. She giggles sweetly and says, "Oops. Excuse you," then walks off, her bimbo pals following her.
I roll my eyes, then pick up my books with Echo and Bunny's help, and hear Bunny say, "She's a bitch."
"You have no idea," Red growls.
"Wh-what do you mean?" Echo asked.
"She and I have been in school together since freshmen year, and my boyfriend and I were always her target, and now she's targeting Micro," Red explains.
"Yep, she's a bitch," Bunny says, as we all stand back up, and head into the French room.
After French, we all meet up with Rocket and decide to go out for lunch, so we all head out to my car, and get in. Red, Bunny, and Rocket get in the back, while Echo sits up front with me, and I slide the top back again.
"Awesome ride, Micro," Bunny says.
"Thanks," I say, pulling out of the parking lot, and turning to the right. I drive to Sunset boulevard, then park in front of Hoy's Wok Sunset Restaurant, since it's Red's and my favorite chinese place in LA.
The lady there greets us warmly once inside, and we all order what we want. When we get our food we all get to know the twins, joke around, and just have a fun lunch break. After about a half hour, we head back out to the school, and when we get there, something's going down in the center of campus.
We walk over to find a fight between a guy I've never seen before, and two big guys who look like body builders. When the twins see him, they push their way through the crowd of on looker, then Bunny punches one of the guys in the face, but he picks her up and Red, Rocket, and I race to their aid.
"Red! Take care of Echo and the other guy! Rocket and I get these smucks!" I call out to Red, then race full speed and knock the guy holding Bunny over his head backwards slightly. When Bunny gets back on her feet, I tell her to go take care of the guy.
She nods, then does as I told her to, while Rocket and I face off with the two bodybuilder freaks. They swing first, but Rocket and I duck out of the way just in time, and they punch each other, knocking each other out.Once that's taken care of, we run over to the girls and the guy who's out cold on the ground. I see Bunny looks pissed to no end, and Echo is crying her eyes out.
"Who is he?" I gently ask.
"He's our little brother, Camdon," Bunny says.
"Well, let's get him to nurses office," Rocket says, gently wrapping Camdon's arms around his neck, then asking us to help lift him onto his back. We do as told, and Rocket carried the beaten, bloodied boy to the nurses office, where she helps us lay Camdon on the bed, and asked us to leave the room while she checks on him.
A few moments pass, then she says we can go back in, and we all sit with him until he wakes up.
