Katie's POV: As soon as Jayy grabs something I would never wear in a million years, I shake my head as I pull out my phone. I need backup, so I call Juliet and she tells me she and Andy will be here in 10. Thank God!
I pace in front of Hot Topic for 10 minutes before Juliet comes up to me, and says, "Let's turn this fashion don't into a fashion do."
I smile and thank her again, then we head back inside, where she grabs everything from Jayy's arms and looks through it. She sighs and asked, "Do you know your sister at all?"
I smirk at his look of shock, then we walk around Hot Topic, where sy?he starts looking through the bras and panties, then pulls out a studded black, strapless bra, and says, "That's better."
I smile at her, then willingly take it from her, and check the size. She's got a size too small, so I grab my size, and follow her through the store. As we walk she asked my preference in underwear, and I tell her I could care less.
"Alright, so thongs aren't out of the deal, then?" she asked.
"Nope. Hell, I usually wear those with my yoga pants anyway," I tell her, "No lines that way."
"Good point," she says, then pulls out a zebra print thong and a black lace thong with a pink bow in the center.
"I like this one," I say, pointing at the lace one, "But I think Ash would like this one better," I add, pointing to the zebra print one.
"One way to find out," she says, then calls out, "Babe! Can you come here for a moment? I need your help with something!"
I blush furiously as Andy strides over to us, and says, "What's up, baby?"
"Which one would Ashley like more, do you think?" she asked, holding up the thongs in question.
He looks slightly taken aback, then really thinks about it, and says, "Neither to tell you the truth."
"Well, what do you suggest?" she asked him.
"Hmm..." he says, then looks over at the thongs, while I hide my face in my hands. A moment later, he says, "This."
I look up at him, then wish I hadn't...And I'll tell you why. He's holding up a black and silver skull print thong, like he's going to shoot it at me. I groan in annoyance when the thong smacks me in the face, and he laughs.
"Alright. Thanks, babe. Now, go over there with Jayy and have a nice little chit chat," Juliet says, pushing Andy away before I can wrap the thong around his neck, and strangle him with the garment. Smart woman.
She then turns to me, when Andy's out of the way, and drags me over to the shoes, where she holds up two different pairs for my opinion. One is a boot that would go up to my knee, and is heavily studded. The other an ankle boot with a stiletto heel and stud work on it.
I point to the heels and say, "I love these, and I think Ashley would too."
"Good. Then your outfit is settled, unless you want accessories to match," she tells me.
I look down at the "outfit" in question, and say, "I think I'm good. I think I'll end up looking more like a dominatrix if I go too crazy."
She laughs, then says, "Alright. Well, lets get you checked out, then head out to find Ash so you two can go home and have a little fun. What's all this for anyway?"
"Well, last night, Ashley took me on a really wonderful date, and gave me this," I tell her, showing her the promise ring he gave me.
I watch her jaw literally drop open in awe that Ashley would be so bold to make the first move into a truly committed relationship.
Juliet's POV: No way! Ashley Purdy actually gave her a promise ring? She must be something really special for him to make the first move.
I recover from the initial shock of it all, then say, "I want the details. Where'd he take you? How did he present it? What was his promise?"
She giggles and blushes bright red, then says, "Alright, alright. Well, he took me out to dinner, at a beautiful restaurant, then took me to the beach, where we had our first date, and said that he needed to ask me something. He then said how he knew my life had been hard up until now, but he wants to change that, that he loves me, then pulled the ring out, and promised to love me forever, to be there for me forever, and that one day he wouldn't mind actually settling down with me, and getting married."
Holy shit! I smile at her, holding back my tears of joy for her, and hug her tightly. She giggles through her happy tears, and I say, "Who would have thought?"
"Who would have thought, what?" she asked, pulling out of the hug.
"Who would have thought Ashley would ever want to settle down?" I ask her, with a huge smile, "You must be perfection on legs for him to openly admit that."
I watch her smile falter then, and she says, "I'm far from perfect, Juliet. I make stupid mistakes all the time. My body is scared so badly I can't even stand looking in a mirror half the time. I'm...I'm nothing special. I'm a freak"
I frown at her, then say, "Katie, if I know anything, it's that you're really everything Ashley could ever want, and more. He loves you for you. Not your looks. You two are polar opposites for the most part, but he loves you for that. He's Aquarius, right?"
She nods, then I grab her hand, and pull her with me to check out. I take care of it, for her, despite her arguing that she can pay for her own stuff, then drag her out to my car. I pull my laptop out of the bag in the backseat, slip the hotspot card into place, then pull up a site called DrSexTalk, and click on Aquarius.
"You're a Leo, right?" I ask her.
"Yeah, but what do our zodiac signs have-"
I cut her off with, "Ha! I was right!" then pass her the computer and say, "Read this."
