~Caysen's POV~
Me and Ash were sitting in the living room watching tv when I decided to ask him something that's been bugging me for the past few days. "Ash?" I said looking up at him. "Yeah?" He said looking at the tv still. "D-Do you ever regret finding me that night?" I said biting my lip unsure of his answer. He paused the show we were watching and looked at me. "Caysen, of course not. I'm over joyed still at the fact that you are my beautiful, loving, and caring wife. With whom I have 3 beautiful children with might I add." He said kissing my forehead. "Baby, I love you so,so much. I have a question of my own to ask you too." He said leaning his forehead against mine. "Shoot." I said staring into his chocolate colored iris's. "I-I want to know if you want to try again, f-for a baby..." He said looking me in the eyes. I backed up a little and my breathing hitched. "A-Ash, I don't know if I can do it. I want to, but I-I don't want a repeat of Harley." I said feelings tears starting to sting my eyes. "Oh Cays, I understand if you don't want to. I just thought you might be ready." He said rubbing his thumb across my cheek.
. "Ash, why would you think I was ready to have another baby and possibly have another miscarriage?" I said raising my voice and scooting away from him. How could he think I was ready to have another baby? We're almost in our 40's for gods sake. Besides he wasn't even there when I had to deliver our unborn baby. "Caysen, look I'm sorry. I just thought you might be ready to try again." He said raising his voice a bit as well. I stood up and started pacing, he was being an insensitive asshole at this point.
"Ash, do you know what it was like to find out that the human being that was growing inside of you died?! You weren't even there when I had to deliver OUR own dead baby! It was horrible Ashley, I didn't even get to see her, hold her, or hear her!" I said crying, I went to the stair case and sat on the bottom step. I couldn't begin to think about her again, it was like somebody told you that they're going to shoot the person you love right in front of you when I had to deliver her. "Caysen, do you think it was a fucking walk in the park for me?! News flash, it wasn't! I wanted her just as bad as you did, when I found out you had miscarried I fucking smashed my favorite guitar that mind you, was the one I let your fucking dead friends borrow!" He screamed at me, by now he was off the couch and pacing. I couldn't believe he brought up my best friends like that, he knew how bad that had hurt me. Before I realized what I was doing, Ashley had a red hand print on his cheek.
"Fuck you Ashley. I'm leaving, tell Sky when he comes down that if he needs me to text me." I said flatly as I grabbed my purse and jacket. I heard Ashley start walking after me, I turned to see him with tears falling down his face.
"Cays... Please don't leave me, I need you..." He whispered with panic and pain crossing his face as he looked at me. He grabbed my hand and held it to his chest, right above his heart. "Ash, you talked about my best friend like it was nothing that he died. I'm going to Austin's if you need me." I said trying not to cry. I ran out the door and got into my car, when I got in I pounded on the steering wheel and screamed. I quickly decided to call Austin and let him know I was coming over.
I dialed his phone number in quickly and hit call. It rang two times before he picked up.
"Hello?"
"Hey Austin.."
"Oh hey Caysen, whoa you don't sound okay what's wrong?" "Me and Ash got in a huge fight. Can I come over, please?" "Of course! Oh and just so you know, Vic is here too."
"Oh okay, see you two soon. Bye."
"Alright bye."
I hung up and backed my car out of the drive way and began the half hour drive to Austin's.
~Ash's POV~
I couldn't believe how stupid I had been. I was just mad, I didn't mean it to sound so mean. I walked away from the door and walked towards my studio. I climbed down the stairs quietly, letting my tears fall freely. I called Caysen's phone when I got to the bottom step. I should've known she didn't feel like talking to an asshole like me at the moment, because it went straight to voicemail. "Caysen, I'm so fucking sorry for what I did and said. I knew that it hit you hard when your friends passed away. Baby, I love you to infinity and beyond." I said. I tried to not cry, but it failed completely after I started talking. I was about to go and drink my problems away, when my phone started to ring. "For fucks sake." I muttered as I answered the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey Ashley."
"Austin, what do you want?"
"Whoa dude, I was just calling to ask what you and Caysen were fighting about. She called me and said that you two got into it. She was crying, What happened?"
"Yeah, we did. I, uh, brought up having another baby. She didn't want to have one and she freaked out. I yelled at her and told her that I smashed the guitar I let her best friend borrow when they toured."
I heard Austin whistle on the other side of the phone.
"Damn, you've dug your grave a bit early huh?"
"Yeah, I really fucked up didn't I?"
"Yeah, listen I'll talk to her and calm her down. Send Sky, Ro, and J here for tonight. Tell Sky to bring his boyfriend too, I've got to meet him."
"Alright, I'll tell them. What should I do to make it up to Caysen though?"
"I don't know man, maybe buy her a single rose and make her a nice dinner?"
"Alright, thanks man. Text me when to send my little clan over."
"Haha, okay. Bye."
"Bye."
I really did fuck up this time, and the real question was how do I make it up to her?
