Can you see me?

Chapter 6

"Indiana, can I-"
My phone rings, interrupting his question. I know I should answer it but I still want to kiss Andy. I open my eyes, pulling my face away from his while sitting up. Andy sits up abruptly, blinking a few times. "I have to get that." I mumble while fumbling to answer the call from my mom that is flashing on the screen. "Indiana! Where are you? Why aren't you home? I'm so worried about you! Are you ok? Did you have a ride home? Is Catherine-" I cut off her rambling by sighing, "I'm fine mom. I'm at a friends house." Andy chuckles at this, but when I say 'friend's' his slight smile reduces a bit... "You made a friend! Oh Indiana! My baby's finally making a friend! I'm so proud of you honey!" She exclaims, "Bradley! Indiana has a friend!" My mom yells to my father, muffled by her hand over the microphone. "Bye mom." I quickly state, ending the call before she asks any more questions. "My mom's not usually like that.." I mumble while his chuckling turns to laughter over my heated red cheeks. "Your mom sounds almost as bad as mine!" He chokes out. Finally ending his laughter. "Going home is not going to be fun.." I groan and flop back down where I was laying before, "Indiana, who is your new friend? Indiana, when can I meet him? How did you meet him? Ugh." Andy chuckles while laying back down beside me, "that sounds like you told your parents we were dating or something!" "You know I heard 2 girls whispering about us in class..." I say quietly, "one was like, 'do you think they slept together?' The other told her that I'm too shy for that. Then she said, 'they had to have at least hooked up. She's never talked to someone and suddenly she is to him?' I don't know I just thought it was funny.." A small smile appears on his face, "ya... It's sad how they assumed that too, you don't seem like the type of person that would just have sex with some random guy she just met." "That's because I'm not." I laugh, "it's like the complete opposite of something I would do. Maybe my sister.. But not me!" "Ya... Uh.. So you never answered me about that party.. Will you please go?" Andy asks hopefully, "You should at least go for 5 minutes. A house party is part of the high school experience, you have to at least go to one?" I guess it couldn't be that bad, maybe I'll actually try talking to more people, "I guess... but just don't ditch me ok?" "I can't promise anything.." he smirks at me, the smile even larger in his eyes, "if I'm drunk and there's a hot girl there or something..." "Wait? Drunk?" I whisper, suddenly a lot more nervous now that alcohol was added in the equation. I've never drank in my life, even the one time Catherine had a house party last year while our parents were on a business trip. I sat in my room with the door locked, headphones blasting the heaviest songs I could find. One person managed to somehow stumble in my room, slurring, "scary shit man.." But walked out. "Ya, I'm guessing you've never drank before either?" He turns his head to look at me- not like before, more of a friendly eye contact. "Nope." "I'll try to stay on the more sober side... But I'm warning you.-" he scoots his face a little closer, a small smirk appearing on his face, "With just a sip of any alcohol-" he scoots closer again, "I turn into a huge-" Andy's face is about 2 inches from mine when he says, not quietly either, "Flirt." Andy pokes my nose and leans away, chuckling. "You might have to peel me off someone too, I've heard I'm a great kisser." "You're really self centered, you know that right?" I joke, rolling my eyes at his cockiness. "How would you know I'm not being cocky and just telling the truth? You had to answer your phone." He smirks, I roll my eyes, "Oh god!" "Really? 'Oh god!' Can be used many ways. There's the religious way, 'oh god, please forgive me..'.. There's how you used it.. And there's..." The smirk on his face grows larger as he is suddenly hovering above me, "this way." He thrusts his hips down and up, his hipbones contacting with mine, lightly. He is humping me? "Oh god! Andy go faster!" He moans, closing his eyes and rolling back his head into a fake ecstasy. "Oh my god!" I let out a little giggle, expecting him to stop, he keeps going though. His body hitting mine, our belt buckles clanging together, the fabric of our pants making a weird sound when they rub against each other. "What are you doing in there?" His mothers voice comes from outside the door. He quickly gets off of me and yells, "nothing mom!" I can practically see her rolling her eyes. "Andy could you unlock the door then." "No." He mumbles.. "Andrew Dennis Biersack! I told you no sex while we are home. You're lucky I even let you-" "Moooommm! I'm in here with my friend. We were just joking around. I'm too lazy to get off the floor!" He whines, sounding suddenly so childish. His deep voice makes it even funnier. "Your dad is having friends from work over for dinner so just be quieter when they get here." Her footsteps get quieter, then a door opens and shuts to another room downstairs. "Well, that was awkward." Andy laughs. "I don't think you would be moaning your own name either.." I mumble. I'm not surprised that Andy's not a virgin, it's just that I'm not so it makes the mention of sex still seem like such an adult thing that will never happen to me. "No that would be your job." He jokes, a smug look returning to his face. "I'm not that self-centered." "I'm sorry Andy, I'm saving myself for marriage." I pat his shoulder before erupting into giggles. "Oh right! Like that philosophy still exists." He smiles, "If you keep saying that some guy is going to marry you to get you in bed with him." "Ha! That would mean some guy would want to have sex with me!" I exclaim. Andy laughs nervously, biting his lip after. I'm pretty good at reading emotions as somedays during lunch I would people watch out of boredom and try to figure out what conversations people were having. I don't like where this is going... This is the one time I'll ever be grateful for my mom interrupting something. Mom: dinner is in 20 minutes. You need to come home from your friends! Do you need a ride or can they drive or can you walk home? "Andy I have to go.. My mom needs me home." I say quietly, breaking the uncomfortable silence that had settled over the room. "Ya, sure." He mumbles, standing up from where he was laying, holding a hand out for me. "I'll drive you." I accept his hand, I notice a tattoo peeking out from his sleeve? "Thanks." He unlocks the door, I follow him out of the house in silence. Once we are in the car I decide to ask him about his tattoo. "You have a tattoo?" I put my finger on the slightly exposed skin of his wrist, his arm sticking out in front of him on the steering wheel. "Ya.. It's a skull in a heart. I'll show you when we get to a stop light." When we reach the stoplight Andy slides up the black sleeve, revealing a few tattoos including the one he described. There is also a misfits skull, a cross, and something else. "Did they hurt?" That was a dumb question.. "Ya, a lot the first time. The rest didn't as much.." He replies cooly, pressing lightly on the gas as soon as the light turns green. "You know I never told you where I live.." I mumble. His eyes bulge, "shit. That would be important." "Ya, it's right at the end of starlit road. You just-" he cuts me off, "ya, my grandpa lives over there. I know where you're talking about." "Oh, ok.." We continue the drive in silence, an awkward tension hanging in the air. Catherine was right, Andy does like me. I don't want my first ever friendship to turn into nothing because I don't want to date him. My moms call was definitely a life saver, she stopped us from kissing! I don't think I would have ever talked to him again if we did, it would be too awkward. "Andy, it's the tan house." I say in almost a whisper. He simply nods, pulling into the drive way seconds later. "Bye then. I'll see you tomorrow?" I reach to open the door. "Wait- Indiana," Andy's fingers rest lightly on my arm. I turn back to face him, my backpack still slung on one shoulder. "I know that this is awkward now because of what almost happened earlier." He sighs and reaches to brush the hair out of my face. "I just think we should forget it ever happened. You know? No more awkwardness?" He gives a slight smile, I have to agree if I still want to be friends with him. "Sure." "Thanks. Hey can I come inside? I don't want to have to wait for my dad's friends to finish eating before having dinner myself." I nod, "why wouldn't you just eat with them though?" "They-- uh... They're very catholic, I don't know if they'd really appreciate my uh, the way I look." He mumbles. "That sucks, I'm sure my mom will let you stay for dinner too. If you want of course?" I open the door, Andy follows my lead to the front door before responding, "thanks, and ya."

Notes

Formatting is bad because I'm lazy... I've written a lot for this story lately. I think I'm on chapter 11 or twelve, and they are getting longer. I have to edit and add though.
Thanks for reading, commenting, rating or subscibing!
I promise this story will get less filler ish soon!
