Devil's Awakening

-Haley's POV-
I slipped into my seat in Geometry, my last class of the day. I felt a rough pull of my hair, and I whipped around to find none other than the school bully, Jakob. "Fuck my life," I muttered. "What was that, scene queen?" Jakob taunted, pulling on strands on my hair. "Nothing that concerns you, bastard," I snarled and slapped his hand away. I gathered my things and went closer up front, sitting myself next to Henry, the guy that had never bothered to notice me. "Oh hey, you're Haley right?" he asked, noticing my presence. "Me? Yeah. Do you want me to move? Sorry, I'll go.." I started to gather my things once again until he placed his hand on my shoulder. "No, you're fine. I actually don't mind." Henry flashed one of his infamous smiles that made my heart melt, and turned his attention to the teacher. I rummaged through my bag, and found my phone, which had started to vibrate with 2 messages from Cat. How's school?-C Uhm Haley, I'm picking you up early. Something happened.-C Just then, a student aide from the office came in with a pink pass, and handed it to the teacher. "Haley, looks like you're leaving," Mr. Neill called. I grabbed my binder and pencil and shoved them into my bag quickly zipping it up. "Bye Haley," Henry said handing me a piece of paper and waving. "Bye.." I took the pass from Mr. Neill and left.

-time lapse:to the car-
"Cat, what's this about?" I questioned, pissed that she ripped me away from Henry. "I know you're pissed Haley, but this is really important. Did you get your homework from your last class?" Cat asked, suddenly changing topics. I nodded slowly, encouraging her to tell what happened. "Ok, good. So, you know that band Black Veil Brides?" she whispered, looking awkward in her seat. I nearly squealed and I managed to get out a tiny, "Yes." Cat pulled up to our apartment building and looked me in the eye. "I had a one night fling with Jinxx after he got into a fight with Sammi. It was about 2 months ago. And I ran into him today at Starbucks..." She trailed off, obviously nervous. I grabbed her hand in a comforting manner, and that seemed to calm her down. "I don't think he noticed who I was, but I took off anyways, and I ended up turning again. I just.." Cat broke off, and started to sob. I gathered her in my arms and smoothed her hair. "Come on Cat. Let's get you inside and get you cleaned up." We walked into our small apartment and I led her to the bathroom, where she sat on the counter. She hiccuped, at which we both giggled at. I took a tissue and wiped her mascara-filled tears away, and reapplied her makeup. "Thanks Haley." She sniffled a bit and went to the living room and sat on the couch.I followed her, but sat against a wall and took out the slip of paper that Henry gave me. "Whatcha looking at kiddo?" Cat asked, with a sly smile on her face. I looked up with fake innocence upon my face and watched in humor as her face turning to disgust at what I told her next. "The name of the guy I fucked during lunch." She launched herself at me, and ripped the paper from my hands. "You little liar!" She screamed between laughter. She stopped giggling and took a closer look at the paper. "Henry... Isn't that the guy you're hopelessly in love with? Awesome. Now you can stop doodling him in your diary." She taunted and threw the paper back at me. I narrowed my eyes and flipped her off. Just then her phone rang, and our eyes both went wide as we saw the name on Caller I.D. Jinxx...

Hey guys!! I'm back! I finally had a burst of creativity, and a little spare time. Most of you didn't know this, but I'm in a band, and we have been between school and gigs and practices. So yeah. Well, I hope you enjoyed my little chapter. I might update latter today, or tomorrow for sure.
