I Gave It All

Claudia's POV~~

I hesitated before I walked around the curtain. I gasped as I saw a broken looking Ashley laying on the bed, his eyes closed. My eyes traveled up to CC, who was bawling and grasping Ashley's hand for dear life. I looked at his left hand more closely, noticing the ring was missing.

"Where's his ring?" I asked. CC looked up at me and pointed to the table beside the bed. I picked up the beautiful piece of jewelry and then set it back down. I approached CC and I gave him a tight comforting hug.

"Is he in a coma?" I asked as I pulled away.

"Mhmm." CC said. I looked back at Ashley as I wiped a few new tears away.

"Oh Ashley..." I whispered. I grabbed his other hand and I made slow circles on it with my thumb. A doctor walked in and she stood in front of the bed.

"Are you the girlfriend?" She asked as she pointed at me.

"Umm... no I'm not." I said.

"I'm his fiancee." CC said. She looked over and a smile erupted on her face.

"Congrats... Well, anyway I'm going to need you two to leave. Visiting hours are over." She said. I looked at CC who sighed and stood up. He leaned over Ashley and planted a kiss on his lips. He whispered an I Love You before we left. I entered Austin's arms once I was in the hallway. We walked out of the hospital behind Andy and CC, hand in hand. We departed ways with a kiss, and I got in one of the guys' car next to CC. Everyone was silent the whole way back to Ashley's house. Once we got in the driveway, I got out of the car and walked inside without a word to anyone. I made my way down the hall and into my room. I jumped onto my bed and pulled a blanket over me as I cried. I fell asleep that night after hours of crying.

A loud yell woke me up the next morning. I groaned and got out of bed and I solemnly walked down the hall.

"CC... what's the matter?" I asked as I entered the living room.

"Matter? There's a big matter." He said. Tears streamed down his cheeks as he held his phone in his hand.

"Tell me, Christian." I said.

"It's about Ashley.." He said quietly.

"CC! Tell me. You're scaring me." I said.

"He... He woke up!" He exclaimed.

"Oh my god!! That's amazing!" I said. I hugged him and we left to go to the hospital. I slipped on my flip flops and out the door we went.

We walked into Ashley's room and we saw him sitting up in bed, a nurse attending to him.

"Ashley!" CC said as he rushed over to his fiancee, engulfing him in a gentle hug. Ashley looked so relieved to have CC at his side. I walked to the side of his bed and CC pulled away, allowing me to hug Ashley.

"I'm so glad you're okay." I whispered in his ear.

"Me too." He whispered back. I pulled away and looked at Ashley, a smile on my face.

"Where's my kiss?" Ashley asked. The nurse looked up as CC pulled Ashley in for a passionate kiss. She had a look of pure disgust on her face as she looked away. Ashley had his ring back on, and I smiled again. The nurse did look a little slutty, so I'm sure Ashley pulled the ring out on her.
