I Gave It All

Claudia's POV~~

Ashley was being released from the hospital today, Austin was on tour, and I was sitting in my room, listening to my boyfriend's screams. That sounds a little weird. Anyway it's been two long weeks since Ashley's accident, and he's perfectly fine.

"We're home!" CC yelled. I jumped out of bed and ran down the hall, greeting them both with hugs.

"Oh... Ashley you stink." I said.

"I know. CC won't kiss me until I've taken a shower." Ashley said. I smiled.

"I said I'd take one with you." CC said. They both left for their shower, leaving me alone again. Everyone else except Andy was out doing something.

"Umm... Claudia... I've got some bad news.." Andy said as he walked out from the kitchen.

"What's that?" I asked.

"You might want to take a look at this..." He said. He handed me a Kerrang! Magazine that was probably a day old, since everyone just chucks the mail on the kitchen table. I looked at the cover and my eyes widened, quickly filling with tears. Austin was caught kissing another woman. The caption said:

"Does Austin Carlile not care about his girlfriend, Claudia Alderman? Or is he just drunk?"

"No. No no no no. Please tell me he's drunk.." I said. Either way, I'm not forgiving him. I tossed the magazine aside and I took Andy's phone from him. I dialed Austin's number and it rang for a minute before he picked up.

"Hey Andy-"

"What the fuck Austin!!" I yelled.

"Claudia? What are you talking about?"

"You know full well what I'm talking about!" I said as tears fell down my face.

"No I don't. Tell me."

"Well then you might want to check out the latest issue of Kerrang!" I yelled. Austin's breath hitched.

"I swear I was dr-"

"Save it! We're fucking over!" I yelled. I hung up and handed Andy his phone. I walked over to the couch and I layed down on it face first while I sobbed. I should have gone with him. But. I. Didn't. The front door opened and closed, and then I heard Andy and Jake talking. Minutes later, I felt the couch sink and a hand on my back.

"Claudia." Jake said.

"What?" I asked.

"Can we just talk...?" Jake asked. I sat up and wiped under my eyes. I looked at Jake.

"I guess." I said.

"Give me a hug first. It looks like you need one." He said. I gave in and hugged him. It felt right.

"Look... you don't need Austin.. Okay. And... I'm extremely sorry about these past weeks. They were tough for the both of us." He said.

"You're right." I said with a sigh.

"Remember that time when you first kissed me?" Jake asked.

"Yeah..."

"You were all like...'I'll show you how serious I am'... then you kissed me.." Jake said. I let out a small laugh.

"Yeah... it seems kinda cheesy.." I said.

"But it was actually one of the best kisses I've ever had." He said.

"What do you mean 'one of the best kisses you've ever had'?" I asked.

"This is what I mean." Jake said, and before I knew it, his lips were on mine in a rough, passionate kiss. I tangled my fingers up in his hair and pulled his face closer to mine.

"What in the fuck!?" I heard CC yell. Jake quickly pulled away and looked behind me. I turned around and saw CC standing there, his eyes wide. A blush crept up onto Jake's face.

"Really, what is this?" CC asked.

"What does it look like?" Jake asked.

"It looks like Claudia is cheating on Austin." CC said.

"Nope..." I said.

"What do you mean?"

"I broke up with him. Look at that magazine over there." I said. I turned back to Jake and kissed him again.

"I miss this." I whispered when we pulled apart.

"I do too." Jake whispered back. I pulled Jake back into me and placed my lips upon his. I wrapped my legs around his waist and he leaned further into me. My fingers found his hair once more and I tangled them up in it.

"I love you Claudia." Jake said after we pulled away.

"I love you too, Jake." I said as I reconnected our lips.
