I Gave It All

Claudia's PO~~

"Claudia.." Kellin said. I looked up at him and wiped my tears away.

"CC texted me.. wanting to know if I've seen you. You have to go back to the bus." He said.

"I can't.. not after what I did." I said quietly.

"What did you do?" He asked.

"I slapped him... then kissed him... then yelled that I hated him." I said.

"Oh Claudia. I'll tell CC that you're safe here with me." He said as he pulled his phone back out. A few minutes later, CC walked in and sat next to me.

"I'd let her stay here, but we don't have enough room." Kellin said.

"It's alright man. Come on Claudia, let's go." CC said. I shook my head. Apparently CC didn't approve, because he picked me up. I sighed and wrapped both of my arms around his neck. Kellin waved at me, then he disappeared from my view. CC set me down once we were outside.

"I don't want to be here." I whispered, but he heard me.

"You did want to be here. You have no where to go, hun." He said.

"I know." I said. CC started to walk away, but I didn't follow. He stopped, turned around, walked back, and picked me up again. Once we were inside, he set me down on the couch, then sat next to me.

"Uh, why did you have to carry her?" Ashley asked.

"She wouldn't use her legs." CC said.

"I'm going to bed." I grumbled. I stood up and walked to my bunk and got in it. I closed the curtains and layed there. A few minutes later, I heard footsteps, two pairs, and hushed whispering.

"I know that Andy! I know that my cousin doesn't want to be here, and I know that it's because of Jake!" CC whispered.

"Well, what can we do? She's in no shape to perform that song in two days! I highly doubt she wants to do it now." Boy, was Andy right.

"All that we can do now is talk to Jake. He seems to be hitting it off with Ella, and that's killing Claudia. She loves him and I know she would do anything to be with him. I shouldn't of allowed them to date in the first place. Then she wouldn't be like this."

"Yes she would." Andy whispered.

"What do you mean.?"

"Claudia talked to me the night before we went on that camping trip. She told me that she liked someone, but she couldn't say who. She was worried that he would never like her in the same way she liked him. If they had never worked out in the beginning, she would definitely be like this. It's common sense, really." I was surprised Andy remembered that night. I sat up on one elbow and continued to listen, not like it was hard or anything.

"The night before the camping trip? The night your mic cut out?" CC asked.

"Yes. That night. Heartbreaks hurt, I know that. I was actually going to wait before telling everyone this... but I'll tell you," and without hesitation, Andy said," Juliet broke up with me last week. It's been tough, but god damn... She just wasn't the one, you know?"

I heard some shuffling and then a gasp.

"No way CC... it's beautiful. When are you going to do it?" Andy asked.

"Probably Friday. Yes... Friday. After the show."

"Why not during?"

"That's great.. thanks. We should probably hit the sack. I'm tired." CC whispered. All whispering ceased and both men climbed into their bunks, CC above me. He tossed and turned for a couple minutes, or at least that's how long I thought it was before I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up in a better mood than yesterday. I got out of bed and stretched before changing into some clean clothes. I put my messy hair into a bun and walked out to the lounge with a smile on my face.

"Hey.. look who's up." CC said. He stood up and walked over to me, engulfing me in a hug. He let go and sat down, letting me take in my surroundings. The morning sunlight was cast into rays along the bus, making it warm inside, and absolutely beautiful. Only two men were in the room, the drummer and the vocalist, who were both looking at me, also smiling.

"Tour ends tomorrow... think you handle it?" Andy asked.

"Yeah, I think I can." I said.

"Good."

"It feels nice to actually feel happy... you know?" I asked. CC closed his eyes and nodded. I took a deep breath, and then let it all out.

"Hmm cinnamon. I like it." I said.

"Thought you would. The smell always cheers you up." CC said.

"How do you remember shit like that?" I asked.

"Because I'm your cousin, and I love seeing that beautiful smile upon your face everyday. Whenever you're not smiling, No one else is smiling upon this bus." He said. I walked over and hugged him tightly, then let go.

"I heard you two last night.." I said. It was like it was planned. The room darkened, both smiles faded off of both men's faces, and the room no longer smelled of cinnamon.

"We talked to Jake earlier this morning. I didn't want to tell you this, but fuck it, I've already mentioned it. Jake and Ella... they..."

"They're together, huh." I said.

"Yeah. They are."

"Well, I don't care. Nothing can nor will ruin this day for me. I finally woke up happy! I'm not just going to let it get ruined." I said.

"Also... I'm going to ask Ash if he'll marry me."
