I Gave It All

Claudia's POV~~

"CC, that's amazing!!" I said. I hugged him once more.

"What's amazing?" Jake asked as he walked into the bus. I looked at him, then looked away.

"Nothing." CC sighed. Jake shrugged and took a seat next to Andy. The only person who could ruin my day just had to walk through that door.

"Hey Jakey!" Ella exclaimed. I ran my tongue over my teeth and saw Andy look over at me. I stood up and started to walk away, but Andy jumped up and gently grabbed my arm. My eyes stung as Ella kissed Jake. Couldn't he see that this girl was ruining me? Or was he doing this on purpose? I tried to shake Andy off of me, but he wouldn't budge. He dragged me outside and faced me. I could smell the cigarette smoke on his breath he was that close.

"You will not cry. Not today."

"Too late." I said as a tear fell. Andy sighed and pulled me into a hug.

"This is killing you.." He whispered. I nodded into his chest. I heard two pairs of footsteps and then they stopped right next to us.

"Hey Andy.. Sammi is visiting for today and tomorrow." Jinxx said.

"Hey Sammi." Andy said.

"Hi.." She said before her and Jinxx walked onto the bus. I pulled away from Andy and looked up at him.

"I know how you're feeling, Claudia. We're both going through the same thing right now... and it's tough. But you can't... you can't keep letting Ella destroy you." Andy said. I noticed that a tear gas found its way out of Andy's eye. He wiped it away and looked at me.

"But... Jake..."

"Jake doesn't matter anymore Claudia."

"Yes he does! I still love him." I whispered. The door opened and Sammi walked out.

"Claudia.." She said. She pushed Andy with the best of her ability and gave me a bone crushing hug. She pulled away and looked between the both of us.

"Have you been crying, Biersack?" She asked.

"No." Andy said. She shrugged and made her way back onto the bus.

"You want to go back inside?"

"I guess." I said. We both entered and took in the living room scene. Sammi was telling Jake off.

"Sammi!" I yelled over the noise. She looked back at me and ditched Jake. Ella glared at her and sat on Jake's lap. A lump appeared in my throat, but I swallowed and it disappeared. Sammi returned to Jinxx's side. Ashley walked onto the bus and approached CC, hugging him then pecking his lips. I internally groaned. Every couple on this bus had it figured out... then there was the fact that Andy and I were recently dumped. I guess Andy thought the same thing, because he put his hand on my shoulder and squeezed it in a reassuring way. I then had a great idea, so I pulled Andy into the bunk area.

"Andy... I have an idea for tomorrow."

"What would that be?"

"Instead of singing my song, I want to sing Goodbye by Avril Lavigne." I said.

"That could work. I'll find the audio for you.. I've never heard the song, so I hope you know the words." He said.

"I do... thank you, Andy." I said.

"No problem." He said. We both walked back out to the lounge and Andy picked up a laptop off the coffee table. He sat down and opened it, letting it start up. I sat next to him just as he opened the internet and started typing into Google.

A few hours passed and Ella finally left, which I was thankful for. Andy had called Jon and told him about my idea, which he gladly set up for me. It was nearing four pm, when Jake asked if he could talk to me in private. I slowly stood up and followed him into the kitchen. He leaned against the counter, looking at me expectantly.

"What?" I asked.

"You're singing a song you wrote for me tomorrow?" He asked. I only smirked.

"No. Not even close."

"Jon told me that."

"You'll see tomorrow, Pitts." I spat. I then left him and sat back down next to Andy.

Next Day~~

As I finished beautifying myself, I took a good look in the mirror. My hair was perfectly curled, my makeup was applied perfectly, and my lipstick was nice and red. I pinned my bangs up and left the bathroom, heading to my bunk where my clothes were. I quickly changed into a black dress and a pair of flats. No way am I wearing heels on stage. I exited the bus and headed inside the venue, finding Andy's dressing room and entering it. Ashley and CC were already there, all of them talking while Ashley was finishing his hair. Andy turned around and took in my appearance.

"Woah.." He said. CC turned around as well and his eyes widened.

"You look fantastic, Claudia. Why haven't you dressed like that before?" CC asked.

"I never felt like it. But tonight, I'm willing to shake things up a bit." I said. Ashley eyeballed me from the mirror and he wore a satisfied smirk. Even though he was dating CC, he still found the female body fascinating. The door opened and a head popped in, saying that the Brides were on. Ashley quickly finished up the last strand of his hair and unplugged the straightener. He grabbed his bass from the corner while CC found his sticks. I followed all three men out of the dressing room and backstage. I picked at my nails as they went on, one by one. I then watched their ninety minute set. BFMV was in their dressing room or rooms, so I was alone.

"Thank you guys for giving us the best show we've played this tour! But we have two surprises for you!" Andy announced. The crowd cheered. Andy glanced at me, then back out at the crowd.

"There's this girl... I think you guys may know who she is when you see her.. maybe not, but she's got something for all of you.. and someone else." Andy said. All five guys waved and ran off stage, and Andy slightly pushed me out there. I walked up to the microphone and i took it in my hands.

"Hello. My name is Claudia Alderman..." I said. Immediately the crowd started cheering. I guess I was Twitter famous, even though I was never on it.

" And I'm going to sing you a song. Only one. It's slow... so." The crowd cheered once again.

"This song is called Goodbye by Avril Lavigne.. and it's dedicated to my ex.. Jake Pitts. Here it goes." the music started playing and I got ready to sing.

The song ended and I wiped away a stray tear that had fallen. The crowd was so silent.

"Thank you. The last surprise for the night... Please welcome CC and Ashley." I said. I walked off the stage and watched as CC started talking. I kind of spaced out during his little speech to Ashley and focused more on what happened next. CC got down on one knee and pulled the ring out of his pocket.

"Ashley Purdy, will you marry me?" I watched as Ashley covered his mouth with his hand, and as he nodded his head. CC smiled and slipped the ring on his finger, then he kissed him and the crowd went crazy. They both left the stage and Ashley stumbled over with tears and a wide smile on his face. Ashley pulled CC back into him and forcefully pressed their lips together. I smiled at my cousin and his new fiance and I folded my arms across my chest. Someone tapped my shoulder and I turned around to face Jake.

"Your voice is absolutely incredible... you know that right?" Jake asked. I shrugged.

"It's alright." I said.

"I'm willing to make it up to you." Jake said.

"Didn't you hear the song?" I asked. I then stormed away back to the bus, trying to hold in a river of tears.
