Getting Back to Normal
When Andy woke up, the sunlight was bright against his skin. Not that he didn't like it, he hadn't seen the sun for 3 months! He was glad to see it, but the sight gave him a headache. He would have to get used to the light soon though. After all, tour was starting very soon. His phone rang and he groaned as he picked it up. "Well someone's grumpy," CC laughed. "Sorry, I just...I just really want stay home," Andy chuckled. "We get it, bro. Just come to the meeting and then you can go back home," CC assured the other. As Andy thought, his heart started to sink. "What about Ashley," Andy whispered as if the Demon would hear him. CC sighed quietly. They hadn't thought about that. And they surely didn't want to scare or hurt Their main man in the band. "You can sit on my lap while we're there, alright?," CC attempted. "O-Okay," Andy stuttered as he blushed. They both hung up and Andy went upstairs to get ready. As he straightened his hair, his body started to shake. Sure, he was safe for now, but on the bus he and Ashley will share a bed because their the only single men on the bus. As always they would share a hotel room too. Andy jumped as he felt burning on his neck. As he looked in the mirror, he had burned a line across the right side of his neck. "Yeah...we're keep the bottoms curly today," He said to himself as he turned it off and unplugged it. He took a deep breath before grabbing his wallet, keys, and heading over.
As Andy walked in, the guys were sitting together at the meeting table. Andy used every bit of his being to go on and sit by Ashley. He would have to deal with the other for quiet awhile, and it's better to be used to it now then later. "Andrew, your warm up please?," Their Manager, Jonathan, nodded at Andy. As Andy stood up from his seat, he and the boys shared a curious glance. As the song began, both Ashley and Andy blushed. It was the lullaby he had always listened to. Ashley would often sing it to the tall lanky boy till he fell asleep.
As Andy began to sing, the other boys looked at Andy shocked. The young boy looked so vulnerable and you could tell them was emotion behind this song to him. "Short steps, deep breath everything is alright. I can't...step into the spotlight," He sang as if he was in a trance. "When this world is no more, The Moon is all we see...I'll ask you, to fly away with me. Intill the stars fall down, the empty from the sky...but I don't mind," He continued. Ashley felt a pain as if it hurt him to see the boys face turn red and his eyes fill with tiny tears. It used to be his pleasure! Ashley felt nervous as the boy continued to sing. "Why do my words, always lose there meaning? What I feel...What I say...There's such a rift between them.," The soft voice sang. Andy sighed softly as he felt himself just feel over with this. He wanted to go home and relax on his nice leather couch under a batman blanket. He was still too uncomfortable sleeping in his bed. "We all missed your voice," Jake smiled as Jinxx and CC nodded in agreement. "I'm sleepy now," He giggled in reply.
Ashley saw behind that Act. He could tell Andy was sad and by the middle he was in a trance. What was he thinking? "Why did I need to warm up to that?," Andy chuckled. "We just missed your voice so much," Jon smiled at him. Jon's been there since the beginning of the band for Andy. Non of the boys could come between them. "Ok, back to business," Jonathan pushed. "All we need to do is figure out when all the shows are gonna start," Jinxx commented with a shrug. "I want the ones that are gonna be outside to be late in the evening so it's not as hot," Andy told Jonathan. "That's actually a good idea, Andrew.," He smiled with an appreciative nod to the boy. "We don't wanna trip again," Jake joked as he nudged Ashley.
Last tour, while Ash was trying to empress the ladies, he had on stage and landed right on top their Plastered little faces. Of course they got mad and didn't stay for later that night. Ash blushed madly. "Shut up," He muttered as he hid in hair. Ashley scooted closer to Andy and he could see in the corner of his eyes the boys own blue ones go wide and his body tense up while his hand made fist at his own thighs. That had to hurt. CC sighed as motioned for Andy to come in his lap. Without hesitation, Andy immediately basically ran into the others lap. Ash's face angered. What, were they together now or something? "I'll protect you," CC whispered to him.
Since they first met, CC was a protector to Andy. CC was there way more than Ashley would ever be. There were many nights CC had to take Ashley's place in their bed because of the poor boy's nightmares and that Ashley wasn't there to take care of the boy. All the guys knew it would be even worse this year. They all sat in silence as the dates were set in stone. Ashley stared meanly at CC, who stared right back at him. "Hey Andy, We need you to come help us with printing the posters," Jonathan called. Since Mr.Blue wasn't here, the record owner, he was the only one who knew how to get it to print. All the boys watched as Andy silently nodded and walked towards them like a ghost. Usually his boots would click and clack with every step against the hardwood flooring, but this time they didn't even make a thump sound once they hit the floor. You would forget he was here if you weren't paying attention. "Guys what are we gonna do about him?," Jake whispered once the door to the glass walled room closed. Jinxx shrugged. "I wanna let him sleep with Ashley, but I don't want him to be scared the whole tour," Jon said. "Why is he afraid of you," CC blurted out at Ashley. Ashley just shrugged and gave them a How-Am-I-Supposed-To-Know look.He was getting a little upset he could him talking with Sleeping With Sirens and D.R.U.G.S as they walked in, but his eyes wondered over to the glass walled room. He watched as he and Jonathan made the last set of posters. As they walked out the room, CC rolled his eyes at Andy. Andy's face turned to fright as he slowly got back to his seat by Ashley. "Is everything set up now?," he asked softly while biting as he middle finger, a familiar habit. "Yes, All the posters are sent to be put up and the dates are set. The first Date is almost already sold out," Jon smirked. Ashley watched as Andy's face lit up. This is the pride he wanted to feel one day. This is his goals being put in motion. "I still got clothes in the bus from last time so I'm just gonna wash em' and use the same clothes," Andy chuckled. "Everyone's are," Jake commented. "Since all y'all clothes are still in in the buses, why don't I just get them washed and then we can start heading to the first hotel tonight," Jon suggested. The boys all nodded, for they were quietly giggling and chuckling at his grammar. "I'm in," Matt said between laughs. D.R.U.G.S all nodding because they were laughing to hard to speak. Andy knew this tour would be awesome.
