"WAKE UP BITCH!!" Suddenly I jerked up. I checked my phone. It was just my alarm. Yes, my alarm is me calling myself a bitch, get over it. So I started my morning routine. Shower, dry my bright read hair, decide whether I should straighten it or leave it natural. Today I just felt like leaving natural. It actually looked good wavy today. Then began the struggle of figuring out what to wear. I chose leather leggings and converse covered with spikes for the bottom half.

Now here's the thing about me: I wasn't ashamed of my scars. I saw them as proof that I can make it through hard times. So I rarely tried to hide them. So I chose to wear my "You Rock My World" tank and a black bandeau top underneath. I did my normal make up, white eyeshadow with black eyeliner and a little bit of mascara. Then I put on my favorite belly bottom ring and iPhone case, and I was off to work.

Work is a little tattoo shop 10 minutes from my small apartment. I loved tattooing, but it wasn't my passion. Music was my real passion. I write songs a lot. I enjoy it, but I'm not comfortable playing them for people. I just enjoy writing. Anyway's back to work. I walk there every morning. I have a car, but I enjoy walking. It's good for listening to music and clearing your head. Today, I just put on Fallen Angels and headed to work.

~~10 MINUTES LATER~~

"Hey babe!" said my manager, Elise. We all loved her because she was super nice, compared to my previous manger.
"Hey Elise! What's the plan for today?"
"You have four scheduled appointments, two large, two small. Simple enough!" replied Elise. A nice simple day, just what I needed. I went to my station, decorated with band merch and posters, and a stereo system. I enjoyed listening to music in between appointments, and sometimes during. Sighing, I put down my phone and prepare for the day.

~~8 HOURS LATER~~

"Ok, that should be it!" I say as I finish a ladybug tattoo on a 30 or so woman. She looked at in the mirror and gasped. "It's absolutely beautiful, thank you so much!" she said, giving me a hug. I get this a lot. But I don't mind it. Then her gaze dropped to my arm. Here we go. "Oh sweetie.." she started, but I stopped her. "It's a phase of my life that's over now. I show them so people know I've been through shit and survived." I said. It's the speech I give everyone. She just looked at me, smiled, and hugged me again. I wish most people reacted that way.

~~20 MINUTES LATER~~

Finally back home. I love being at the tattoo shop, but tonight I just needed to write. That woman in the shop gave me inspiration for a new song. I grabbed my notebook and wrote. Then I grabbed my guitar and worked on another song I was writing. But something kept nagging me. I couldn't focus. Usually when I couldn't focus, I gave up, ordered pizza, and watched a random horror movie. But today I was determined to perfect this song. So I decide to got to the beach. I put my guitar in it's case, grabbed a bag and packed a blanket, my notebook, and a small lantern so I could read. Quickly, I changed into a long sleeve black sweater, leggings, and a black beanie with gold crosses on it. And I left.
