Candy, Pierce the Plastic and Insidious
Andy Dawn’s POV
Out of all the things Dad could have said, him having cancer was not something I would have expected. Stretching, I got out of bed and put on some skinny jeans and a random t-shirt. I threw a pillow at CC and woke him up. He got ready and we then grabbed all of our stuff (and Andy’s bag) and put it in the bus before making sure the room was completely empty and then going to the breakfast place downstairs. We sat there for a good thirty minutes until Jinxx, Jake and the guys from the other band joined us. We let them in on the prank just before dad and Andy came down stairs from the elevator with their bags behind them.Andy had a huge pissed off look on his face and dad was trying not to laugh but was failing. The moment everyone saw him, they were doubled over laughing. He pouted and had the look of an angry puppy that was put outside on his face. The guys immediately began to take pictures and post them on twitter and instagram. All Andy did was flip us off and then continue with his breakfast. When everyone was finished, which took a while because everyone kept laughing at Andy; we went to the bus and got ready for the next show, which was right before the last four shows.
Dad also said that he was ready to tell the fans about his cancer at the next interview if anyone asked him about why he was gone for so long. He’s so brave to tell his story. I also get to play with him and he will watch the next show and then one song. Andy says its not fair for only one set of fans to get to see him play and not the entire tour so in order to be fair, he gets to only play one song which they will record and post online because the both of us will play it. It was decided that I will play the first part and dad will then finish the song and I will sing a little bit with Andy. It’s decided that we will perform In The End. Brett also asked me earlier if I would consider singing a song with him during their set. I haven’t agreed yet but I haven’t said no either.
Andy helped dad out of his wheel chair and they stashed it somewhere out of the way, where it is I do not know. So Dad is sitting on the couch across from me while I’m next to Jinxx who is showing me a song on the guitar by Green day. I absolutely love when he teaches me Green Day. It makes me a happy child. One day, I will meet them. I’ve made it my goal! That and go to their concert. They are amazing beautiful human creatures that I worship from a distance. See I fan girl just not over bands I’ve met already. Hehe. I about passed out when I met Pierce the Veil and Sleeping With Sirens. Tony was really shy at first but it was adorable and then him and me became best friends despite our age difference. I’m also an honorary member of Los Pierce Veils, pretty cool if you ask me. The song Jinxx is teaching me is called Jaded/ brain stew. It’s pretty simple and has a pretty easy power cord so I picked it up pretty fast thanks to my eagerness. Once he finished teaching it to me, Andy recorded it and posted it on twitter talking about how I love green day so much I chose to learn their songs instead of his. Which, I usually tweet back saying; “I play your songs all the time. Give me a break for trying to mix it up a little bit.” he stuck his tongue out at me so I took a picture and tagged him saying, “we can totally tell who the adult here is (;”
We talked for a bit and listen to the stories from Dad that has happened while we were gone. After a while I got hungry so I made a microwave Mac n cheese meal. After reading the directions I said to everyone, “I must pierce the veil of plastic in order to consume this yummy meal.” And took a picture and quoted my self to the PTV boys who all replied, “lol you’re a special child Andy. Special child” dad shook his head and said, “Jinxx, you haven’t let her hit her head at all have you?” Jinxx laughed and said, “well I haven’t LET her but there was a few occasions were she fell out of her bunk in the middle of the night. That’s on her. Not Me.” dad laughed and said, “only my child. Only my child.” Andy laughed and then added in, “that’s right because she’s YOUR kid. Anyone remember who fell out of their bunk the most at the beginning of tour one time? That’s right it was Ash.”
Dad mumbled F-k you at him and Andy smiled and said, “what time baby?” and dad’s jaw dropped to the floor while CC yelled; “Because Ash ‘adopted him’ that’s illegal and wrong in SO many ways!” we all burst out laughing. I was literally rolling on the floor laughing. Laughing so hard, I rolled across the floor and into the wall with the kitchen. When I hit it, I laughed even harder and longer. Andy literally watched me laugh for 10 minutes straight. He yelled to dad, “Uh Dad, I broke Andy Dawn.” That made me laugh even harder. Dad face palmed and said, “You had one job. One hob.” Andy shrugged and I continued on laughing. After laughing for nearly 30 minutes, I calmed down. Dad said after I calmed down, “I didn’t think you were ever going to stop laughing.” I smiled and sat next to him. Hugging him I pulled him close to me and said, “Hush child. Hush.”
He laughed softly and said, “who created who here?” Jake and Jinxx answered, “well, me and him had you who in turn had Andy who is with CC who both made the other band and we made Andy Dawn. So in the end, pun intended, we all made each other!” CC put his arm around Andy and then grabbed his butt and Andy said, “Oh CC touch me more. CC ohhhh.” and fake moaned while the rest of us laughed until we couldn’t breathe. Dad had tears running down his face and Jake was holding his stomach.
I shouted in between laughs, “50…shades…of…grey…but…real…with…them…CC…lied…” which sent everyone into another fit of laughter. When we all calmed down, we were smiling like crazy and in a good mood.For the rest of the afternoon, we all joked and shared jokes before watching a movie. CC picked it out and didn’t tell anyone what it was until the title showed up reading “Insidious.” Don’t get me wrong, I love horror movies but for some reason, this is one of the FEW that actually scare me. I don’t know why either. Dad knew about my bitter sweet love for this movie so he handed me a blanket and I cuddled up to him and said, “ I don’t know whether I should watch this or not.” he smiled cockily and said, “don’t worry, I’ll protect you!” Andy threw a pillow at him and said, “ No! That’s the job of Batman. Go away.” dad stuck his tongue out and flipped him off. Andy retaliated and threw popcorn at us. CC shushed us and then demanded we stop or else.
Even when I knew what was coming next, I still jumped every time. Andy snickered every time and dad threw popcorn at him in which would start a war and CC would yell at us instead of Mamma Jinxx. Jinxx just kinda put his hands up and shrugged.
When the movie finally ended, we all wandered back to out bunks where the lights were off. I opened my bunk curtain and was about to get in when a body stopped me. Screaming, I threw my phone at them and ran to another bunk. I got into Andy’s bunk and sat on him. He looked at me like WTF? And I explained, “someone was in my bunk.” He gave me that look, the one that says I’m not impressed. We then heard CC’s laughter and he laughed. Andy just laughed. “What a great Batman you are. I’m sure anyone will do it better than you, even Ben.” All he replied was, “nooooooooo. Noooooooooooo.” I stuck my tongue out and then tried to lick his face. He poked my cheek and said, ‘squishy. You be my friend now.” “Did you just attempt to quote Finding Nemo?” he nodded. “That was a fail.”
Andy was about to respond when Mama Jinxx interrupted him and said, “you better be going to sleep now. I don’t care where but I don’t want to hear it in the morning when we wake you up and you complain about being tired.” As he opened the curtain. I pouted and said, “CC thought it was funny to scare me. I hope he felt the wrath of an Iphone to the face.”Jinxx laughed softly and said, “ He does. You hit him in the eye and it might give him a black eye.” My jaw dropped and I felt bad. Jake walked up and said, “don’t worry. It’s not the worst but it will defiantly be a story to tell tomorrow. We have an interview too.” Andy High fived me and then I crawled out of his bunk and to the couch where Dad was sleeping. I poked him and asked him, “Are you sleeping?”
He replied, “No I was sky diving.” “Oh good so do you think it would be possible if oh I don’t know you could or wanted to share a bunk with me. I mean you don’t have to if you don’t want to. I’ll just go bother Andy or CC.” He said, “Well, I think if I could get into the bunk, we will be alright. My back isn’t too sore anymore it only gets stiff on occasion. I had the wheel chair because I’m having a little bit of problems but not a lot. So probably. Why did the movie scare you?” I sheepishly shrugged and looked at the floor. He laughed and smiled as he said, “alright. So if you could help me up and then into the bunk, we would be golden.” Nodding, I went to him and helped him up and into the bunk area. it took a few minutes to decide how we would get into the bunk but after deciding the best idea, we got him into it and then I got in. getting under the covers, he hugged me and said, “I’m glad your doing okay. I missed you so very much you have no idea how much. I’m so proud of you. You make me smile and I bet without a doubt, you make your mom smile wherever she may be. Thank you for being such an amazing daughter.” aw. I smiled and said, “ thank you for being an amazing dad. I still feel bad about what happened before. I know I can’t change it but I wish I wasn’t the way I was. I wish I went around things better but I didn’t. But I am thankful you don’t hate me and still love me. I love you more than I can ever scream and in fact, more than Andy can ever scream. Or anyone for that matter. You mean so much to me. You’re the best dad I could have ever asked for and I’m so happy that your still here to help me out.”
He kissed my forehead and said, “goodnight my beautiful daughter. We have a busy day tomorrow and we DON’T want Mamma Jinxx to yell at us. Good night and sleep well little Andy.” Hugging him good night, I rolled onto my side and drifted into a deep sleep, a peaceful sleep.

2) I am so very, very, very sorry its been nearly 20 days since the last update! I apologize for that. I really do. school got crazy with homework and then my like 3 friends kept me busy a lot, not really its the staying up all night to do math homework that is slowly depriving me of sleep.
3) how are you guys doing? I'm doing okay. I've learned some things at school and people wise. I made a few new friends! yay! school over all has been exhausting. I've had barely any time for my story and it made me sad! so how is school for you guys? if anyone needs to talk, I'm here!
4) we were on the populars list previously. thank you so much for that! I was so excited when I saw that. can we do it again? okay so I think of my story like an empire. I built it from nothing and have made it this far. well the list of poplar's is like a list of the most popular empires and well, I like being on that list. it makes me feel important. so do you think with my help of updating more and you guys doing what ever you do so well, do you think we can do it? I do! I believe in you!
so stay strong, never give in and never back down, lets set this world on fire and show them what we can do, for we are the fallen Angels!
