Ash’s POV
A few weeks passed since I woke up and then was released from the hospital. Luckily, I’ve gained a little bit of weight back. I don’t look so scary anymore, which is good. My fingers are almost healed which is good but my leg and everything else have a long way to go. My wrist is still broken so I can’t play bass just yet. I’ve also been going to therapy. It’s actually helped a lot more than I thought it would. I’ve been clean for 3 weeks now. Andy Dawn has been clean for 5 weeks. I’m so proud of her! She also put on a little bit of weight, which she needed to. The church of the wild ones tour starts in two days! I’ve been chilling at home with Andy Dawn as the guys are scrambling to get everything they need done at the last moment. I made Andy Dawn pack the day I came home from the hospital. While everyone is gone, Sammi is going to come by during the day to make sure I’m okay and I haven’t hurt my self. (I can’t exactly go up the stairs so the bottom floor is my friend. lets just say, falling out of your wheel chair hurts.)
So right now, Andy Dawn and me are watching transformers 2: revenge of the fallen in our movie room. She begged and demanded we watch it. This kid is more and more like Andy is some ways it’s scary. She is literally almost better than me at bass. Since I cant exactly play or teach her very well, Andy asked Jaime from Pierce The Veil to help her out a little bit. He told me later on, “I was surprised to see a 14 year old be so good at bass. She could easily replace anyone. We better watch out! Don’t tell Vic!” I laughed and said, “as long as you don’t tell Andy.” I also think Andy Dawn made sure she knew what she was doing because Pierce The Veil is one of her favorite bands and well, she wanted to be good and show off a little bit. Another thing she has in common with Andy. I tease her and tell her that Andy is her real dad. She then dramatically calls out, “I knew it. Andrew, You Are MY father!” and then runs and tackles him to the floor. The guys get a kick out of it.
Turning to Andy Dawn, I see her literally quoting the movie. I took a video without her noticing it. She literally said, “Sam, I’m breaking up with you.” this kid seriously knows every line to this movie. I was still recording when she paused it and dramatically reenacted it, “Michaela, my love. Don’t leave me! You’re my first girl friend! No one can love a geek boy like me except for you. I need you. That fling with Bumblebee was nothing. He doesn’t make me feel the way you do.” She winked at me before sitting down and pressing play. I posted the video on twitter and wrote, “I love my kid. She knows how to make me laugh. One of the best kids ever!!!” she hugged me carefully and whispered, “you’re the best dad ever.” I smiled and hugged her. We watched the movie until we both fell asleep right were we sat.

It was now the Day Andy Dawn and the rest of the band left for tour. I seriously am going to miss my partner in crime CC. Ha you thought it would be Andy Dawn. Just kidding. I will miss her. It’s going to be the first time I wont be around with her. Jinxx is her guardian while they’re on tour so you can imagine how strict Mamma Jinxx is going to be! No sex on the bus! No bringing back girls! No drinking unless it’s social! (To which I say, it’s always social) No sleeping naked. I agree with the first and last rule. I DO NOT want my kid to see CC’s dick or something. That’s fucking awkward. When it’s the 5 of us, its like bro, put some clothes on. I love you dearly but I don’t want to see your dick.With Andy Dawn around, I hope they don’t get into too much trouble. I seriously don’t want a phone call from a police station saying I have to bail their 5 Asses out of jail or a phone call from our manager.
Sitting in the living room, Andy Dawn ran in and sat down next to me. I was broken so it was hard for her to rest her head on me so I put my head on her. Its funny because she complains my head is heavy to which I say, “Now you know how I feel.” And she then sticks her tongue out at me. Now that she has been on independent study, she’s been a lot happier and a lot less moody. I get that some of its from her um…woman thing… but its not as bad as she was. Oh god. Her and the guys on that bus. I started laughing and she asked, “you alright there?”
I shook my head no and said, “picturing the guys and you on tour. Them having to get you uhhhh woman things.” she blushed and laughed with me. “I can’t believe you said that let alone thought that! You are a Perv!” and she playfully poked my nose. Yeah the one nice thing about recovering is that some of my fractures are almost healed. Like my jawbone is almost healed and so is my cheek. Its bruised still but doesn’t look as bad. My fingers are taking their time but as long as I can still play, were good. My wrist is in a cast so I won’t know how its doing until they take it off. The most annoying broken bone is my hip. If it weren’t for m hip, I’d be able to be on crutches. Well and my back. I go in for an X-ray tomorrow to see how it’s healing. Hopefully I won’t need surgery.
The doorbell rang. Andy Dawn got up and then ran to get it. She returned with the guys behind her. We all carefully hugged and talked for a few minutes. The one thing they kept saying was, “it’s going to be so weird not having you around for like a month or two. I’m going to miss you.” I smiled and said, “take care of my kid or you will be beaten, got it?” they all nodded and then got ready to go. I watched from the porch as they all got into the car that would take them to the bus that was waiting outside the gates of our little community. Going back in side, I went on twitter for a bit. Watched some TV, carefully drew a new clothing piece for my website and then made some phone calls. The first phone call was about my car and the insurance company. The second was to the police about the investigation and the third was to Andy Dawn’s school.
When I got off the phone, I was still bored. Opening twitter I tweeted, “I’m bored already and the guys left like an hour ago. This is going to be a loooong month.” I responded to a lot of fans and watched some random Youtube videos before going to make lunch. Making my self something to eat, I also got my pills out to take. Yeah I got put back on anxiety pills for a little bit as well as depression pills and pain pills. When I was done, I cleaned up the mess I made and then tweeted more fans. Sammi finally came around 3 with the little ones. Jinxx got back from preschool and Kellin and Eve were coming from day care. Sammi hung out with the kiddos and me for a bit before she had to go home. Since I couldn’t exactly go up stairs, I was sleeping in the guest room. The guys moved Eve and Kellin’s crib down stairs so I would be able to hear if they woke up in the middle of the night. Jinxx likes to sleep on the couch in the music room.
She already shows so much interest in music at her young age, that it makes me want to show her how to play already. I’m waiting until my fingers heal so I can start to teach her. She would be good at everything; I’ll make sure of it. I also want her to get good grades and play a sport so she will have a world of options when she is older and knows what she wants to do. Andy Dawn says she wants to make a band. She mentions it all the time to the point of its borderline annoying. I tell her that I support her, which I do. I think if she makes some friends who are also really musically talented and they get along good, she will stop talking about making a band and finally make a band. I will support her but I also want her to have to make her own name in music. I don’t want her to get a free pass because I’m her dad and I’m in Black Veil Brides. Of course the guys and me will support her but we won’t be getting her a record deal, she has to work for it not get it free.
She understands that which is good. Eve shows signs of also being a musician, actress or athlete. She’s smart for her age. Kellin hasn’t shown any signs; well then again he is four, almost five months old. Checking my phone, I see that Andy Dawn sent me a picture of her war paint. It’s mostly mine with a hint of Jinxx and CC’s. The bass she will be playing is the one we got her when I was released from the hospital. It’s Red and from the same company as mine. She also is working on her own signature war paint. She won’t tell anyone what it looks like until she’s done. CC also sent me a picture of her bunk. She had a picture of everyone taped to the wall and she had her hello kitty blanket and transformers stuffed Optimus prime.
She had a top bunk above Andy. Ha. Double Andy on one side and then Jake and Jinxx on the other. CC was in the top bunk above an extra bunk since he snores and wont admit it. They all told me they missed me already before they had to get ready for the show. It definitely hurt to not be able to watch her perform her first show with the band as a temporary member. She can literally say she was a member of BVB. Ha. So we’ve now had two ladies in the band! Cool! I should totally see what Sandra’s doing. Maybe she can hang out and I wont be as bored! Yay for finding people to hang out with!
When I texted her she responded that she was on tour for another three days before she was coming back. She said she’d love to hang out and meet the little ones. I Texted Vic then his band, they were also busy. No one can hang out!!! Every one is all out having fun and I’m sitting here all drugged out bored beyond belief. I tweeted my dilemma and several ladies who, if I were the more perverted Ash, I would have jumped at the chance to have some ‘fun’.I replied to them, “sorry Ladies. I’m sorry to tell you but I don’t hook up anymore with just anyone. I’m a dad now and my kids come first. When I say I’m bored I mean I want to hang out with friends and have a good time, not get laid. Sorry.”
The guys tweeted me after they got off stage, “who are you and what have you done with our Ash?” I sent back as I laughed, “its me guys. I just want to set a good example for my kids. If I’m going to do something, I want to do it with someone who means something to me.” Jinxx being mamma Jinxx said, “I am proud of you my son. You have earned more respect.” I sent back, “so if you’re my mom and Andy is my son? Who is my mom and who is his mom?” Jinxx playfully played along, “well surely, you and CC would remember what you did. I know Jake does. Best. Night. Ever.” I replied, “So I’m the son of garbage can man and smelly Pitts? HA! That makes Andy the grandson of you guys and the son of CC whose bunk is always messy.”
Andy Dawn joined in saying, “Sammi is the coolest sister guys. Seriously Jinxx, thanks for giving birth to her.” I was literally laughing so hard my ribs hurt really bad. Andy said, “Have you see how hot my mom is?” CC replied, “Aw thanks son.” it was hilarious. Andy Dawn said, “wait, who is my mom then?” Jinxx said, “I am your mother but Shh, don’t tell Jake but he’s not the mother.” she asked who it was and he said, “ Vic.” She cheered and replied, “yay!” Vic got involved and so did Kellin. What they said next was epic. Kellin said, “Vic, I can’t believe you were with Jinxx behind my back! I thought you were loyal! I feel like a dog who overslept on the floor.”
Jake said, “Jinxx, get back here now. We need to talk.” Which I replied, “ooooh. Use protection.” Which they both then sent back, “FUCK YOU PURDY.” I replied, “what time?” the fans were enjoying our conversation. They were saying, “I seriously needed to laugh and I just about died from laughter. Thank you!” that brought a smile to my face. I made someone happy. Our conversation died out and I fell asleep at 9.

its not super long but I felt like I needed more after the last chapter. it wasn't cute it was more like a filler. can I just say wow! were well past 20 chapters now! its incredible! thank you so much for your support!stay strong, never give in and never back down. lets set the world on fire! <3
can I take a moment to say warped tour eneded today. I cried a little bit. but all good things have to end so better things can take there place. sigh. who's going to house party? i'm trying to go! I has to go to bed now so I can get up and work for me tickets and do homework. yuck! night!
