Church Is In Session **COMPLETED**

This Is Our Victory Call

Today was the day. The day we live to tell the tale, or die a legend. No one spoke a word to each other. I had barley even said good morning to Andy. Alex was the only one who didn’t seem fazed. He ordered others to get the black flags ready and have war paint put on our faces. The war paint was to show who we were. It was out mark, it showed us as dark and powerful. Andy was going to be the one in front leading the army followed by Coma, Ashley, Jake and Jinxx at his sides. I would be toward the middle with the rest of our army. We would begin our walk at dawn. It was darker than anything when we were getting ready. It was like the sky knew what was happening. The sun was beginning to rise and Alex ordered us to get in formation. Families were saying good-bye to the loved ones that were going to war probably never to return. The fear hadn’t hit me yet, I stood beside Andy as the camp stood with the flags behind us. The guys had taken their place beside their leader and I fell back to the rest of the crowd. The ones directly behind Andy held the flags. Alex was in between Andy and the flags ordering us to march toward victory. Zain stood beside me gripping my hand. He mouthed that everything was going to be okay. I smiled and watched as Andy started the march. I refused to look back at the camp, what would I see? Just an old home that I needed to make better. The wind was a slight breeze gently swaying the flags. My hair moved across my face. I wanted to think that my hair was trying to get me to go back home. Back to Camp H, back to where I had a family once. The desert was silence, no one, nothing, made a noise. War was two feet in front of me and I had no words for the weak that would not make it back home. I had no words for myself, to keep me strong, to keep me going. The only thing I had was vengeance for my family and Esther. Oh how I wanted to find her alive and breathing, even just slightly. Although more than anything I wanted to kill what had done this to my life. I wanted the blood of F.E.A.R. in my hands. I wanted to feel his life slip away while holding his fate in my hands. I smiled at the thought of being able to kill the son of a bitch that has taken everything form me. What I had been waiting for was now just feet away from me. F.E.A.R.s domain. It was bigger than I thought it would be. Big stone walls surrounded the ‘castle.’ The march stopped and we all stood there…waiting. To invade F.E.A.R.s home like he did ours. We waited for the revolution to start. For Alex to make us charge. Three demons appeared without warning in front of the domain ready to defend what they had worked so hard to build. Both sides stood there waiting for the other to move first. The breeze had picked up stirrings dust into the air. Now, now it was just a staring contest. A battle of waiting…waiting…waiting.

Someone who wasn't really rooting for them set it from the outside of Esther's room
