"Why?!" I demanded getting into another fight about Esther's secret that she was keeping from me. I just wanted to know.

"Because I can't!" Was always her excuse.

"But I thought we bitched together about things?" I asked.

"We can't bitch about secrets that aren't mine to tell anyway!" That didn't make sense.

I gave up and went off to work, she followed behind me walking to her work as well. I saw a glance of Andy and wanted to talk to him. I glanced his way, when he saw he almost ran the other way. He was taking the whole avoiding thing to a new level. I would try to avoid him at times too not wanting the pain of what happened to come back. When Andy turned away I felt Esther attempt to run after him.

"No!" I pulled her back.

"He's being a baby. So are you!" She said.

"'Cause you and Zain aren't like that at all." I said sarcastically.

"We're different."

"Sure you are honey." I smiled and walked in different directions to work.

I got to work with a pissd as hell boss who wasn't happy with the new help she had hired to take my place after I let a necklace walk out. They were both screaming at each other and cursing. I chuckled and went to start stock. Soon after the screaming match had ended my boss came in.

"You have your old job back, congratulations." She didn't seen happy about the decision she made but I sure was.

I ran out to the front of the shop to find Ashley and Coma wondering the shop. "Hey!" I said to them.

Ashley looked startled to see me at first but then greeted me with the same hello. It was kind of weird talking to Ashley like he didn't cause the break-up of my best friend and her perfect other half.

Coma brought me into a bear hug and screamed in my ear, "Hey Kitty!" He had heard Esther call me Cat and a light bulb went off in his head. I hated when he called me Kitty and I think that's why he did it.

"What's up?" I asked after slapping Coma in the chest for calling me Kitty.

"Well aside from being abused we came to talk!" Coma said rubbing his chest.

"We think that you and Andy need to get back together." Ashley said.

I couldn't help but laugh, "sorry to break it to you but I want that too and it's not gonna happen.

Both of them seemed disappointed. "Why not?" Coma asked.

I gave them a confused look. "Because he doesn't want us together?" I thought they knew.

"So!? Who cares what Andy thinks?" Ashley said.

"I can't be in a relationship with someone who doesn't want to be in a relationship. I guess some people call it stalking?" I said acting like I didn't see why stalking was a bad thing.

"We know Andy, and he wants you." Coma said.

"Yeah, like bad." Ashley said winking while trusting his hips.

I hit him," if he wants to get back together then he has to say something." I looked down at my hands. "I don't want to spill my heart out to someone who won't take it."

"Just give him some time." Coma said, "he'll come around to what he really wants."

"He wants us to be apart!" I said remembering what he had said the last time I talked to him.

"That's what he said he wants," Ashley winked at me.

I felt like I should hit him again but I didn't, maybe that time it wasn't a sexual reference. "I just came to say that we know he's acting like a baby and we're trying to get him to, you know." Coma trailed off.

"I should get back to work," Ashley said.

"What work?" I asked, "watching dancers?"

"Yes!" He stuck his nose in the air and marched off.

I laughed, "just don't give up on him just yet, Kitty." Coma gave me a hug before going back to his duties.

I didn't realize that I was smiling foe the rest of the day. The thought of being able to hug Andy again. The feel of his hands holding my waist. His irresistible lips kissing mine. His smell covering me in the feeling of home. I had he rest of the day to think about what could be, completely unaware of what was to come...
