Esther was already home from the doctor. Her burns were almost completely gone. It had only been a few days so that must have meant that her burns weren't as bad as they looked. After Jinxx had put her into bed and he had showed me what to do with the leaves on her skin if it got irritated he pulled me into the kitchen. He looked worried.

"Look, I know you're happy about her being home so soon but how fast she healed was unnatural. I've treated burns not nearly as bad as that and it took almost two weeks to heal and then another week until they could go home."

"What's wrong with being a fast healer?" I asked not seeing how he was worried.

"Nothing is wrong with that, I'm just voicing my concerns." He said.

"Then why is it a concern?"

"It's unnatural!" He whispered a yell. "Just look after her. Watch her closely."

I nodded and showed him to the door. He turned and gave me a hug. I glanced to both sides of the door watching for anything...out of ordinary. After the encounter I had with the man at the market I felt as if I was always being watched. I didn't even feel safe with Andy around. I couldn't tell him about anything. If I told him now he would know that I had been keeping a secret and he would be even more mad.

I closed my door quite fast and walked into Esther's room. She was asleep on her bed, probably didn't get much sleep at the doctor's. Those beds were awful. I wrote a note that said I was going to see Coma and would be back shortly. I placed it by her head and went to find Coma. But of course I couldn't leave Esther all alone sleeping. I walked out to see Ashley already coming to check on her.

"Hey! Can you stay with her until I come back?" I grabbed his arm.

"Yeah, of course!" He went inside and I started my hunt for Coma.

I needed to tell someone about the guy so he could be taken care of. Coma was in his usual place when he wasn't on a hunt for food. I sat down beside him and grabbed a piece of his food and shoved it in my mouth before he could stop me. I stuck my tongue out at him when he hit me.

"It's not nice to take people's food." He whined.

I finished chewing and then asked him if we could talk somewhere private. He took me to his house and he offered me a drink. Why did Esther and I still not have a couch? And where do you get one? I sat on Coma's couch and denied the drink offer. He sat down beside me.

"So, what's wrong?" He looked concerned.

"I'm just...scarred." I confessed.

"About what? Esther? She'll be fine trust me!"

"No, not her. I ran into a guy the other day and he kind of threatened me..."

"What?!" He stood up. "Who?!"

"I don't know, I just thought that maybe you could find him and..." I trailed off.

"Okay, Andy needs to know what happened now!" He began to walk out the door.

I ran in front of him forcing him to stop just before he reached the door. "No! If he finds out I lied to him it would be even worse!" I stepped from side to side as he tried to get around me.

He gave up and sighed, he stared me down as if waiting for something. "Fine! But if this gets too out of hand..."

"Yeah, then Andy can know! But try to fix it without him. Please?" I interlocked my fingers together.

"I'll do what I can. I'll tell you if anything happens."

I smiled and hugged him. "Thank you!" I kissed his cheek before leaving.

I watched everyone around me move. If they made a sudden move I flinched and backed away. I was terrified that something was going to happen. I couldn't wait until Coma would get this sorted out. I opened the door to our house to find Esther and Ashley on a new couch in the living area. They were kind of cuddling and laughing so hard tears were rolling down their faces. When they saw me walk in they separated and greeted me.

"Nice couch."

"Ashley bought it for us!" Esther exclaimed.

"Oh really?" I glanced over at Ashley, could Andy have been right about Ashley trying to woo her? With Zain gone for w a while it probably made it easy on him.

"This place needed something to hold any company you have." Ashley smirked.

"So, do you have somewhere else to be? I'd like to have a girls night with my best friend." I just wanted him to leave because I knew Esther didn't have a clue about what Ashley was doing and she was going to end up hurting Zain if this kept going on.

"Um, yeah. I'll see you tomorrow?" Ashley asked Esther.

"Definitely!" She hugged him and he left.

"You know what he's doing right!" I asked as soon as the door was shut.

"What do you mean?" She was legitimately confused.

"He's trying to get on your good side." When she gave me another confused look I elaborated. "He's taking advantage of Zain not being here and he's being the man for you!"

"How could you say that?! He's just being a good friend!" She was shocked.

"You know what, pretend I never said anything." I threw my hands in the air giving up and walked to my room.

"Fine!" She paused, "oh speaking of boyfriends yours came over. He wanted to talk with you."

Oh no, did he find out what really happened? Did Coma tell him in the short time I had to walk over here? "Okay."

I went out and walked to Andy's house, still paranoid about the things around me. I knocked on his door and he opened it with a smile. Hopefully that meant he still didn't know.

"Hi," he kissed my cheek.

"You wanted to talk?" I asked sitting on a chair.

"Yes," he took a deep breath and began a small speech. "We've kind of been dating, I guess you could call it, for a couple of weeks. And in those weeks I've found that I'm falling for you more than I have for any other girl. Since it was never announced I just wanted to make things clearer. Catherine, will you be my girlfriend?"

I couldn't help but laugh at how he made a little speech for a tiny thing like that. "Yes," I continued to laugh.

"What's so funny?" He smiled.

"I just thought it was going to be...well not that." He nodded in agreement.

He stood up and took my hands so I would be standing with him. "So..." he placed his mouth on my neck barley bushing his lips against my skin.His arms were wrapped around my waist pressing out bodies next to each other. "I was wondering if you wanted to spend the night?" I moaned wanting to so bad, but Esther needed me.

"I can't."

"Aww, why not?" He whined.

"Esther needs me." I paused not wanting him to know what Esther didn't even know. "And I've never actually...had sex." It was his turn to laugh at something I said.

"Alright, all in good time." He winked and kissed me. "You can still spend the night, just no sex." He moved his way back to my neck.

"Someone would have to stay with Esther..." My heart was racing as he moved his hands inside my shirt.

"She's a big girl." I could feel him smirk against my skin.

I couldn't tell him that she might be in danger, and I didn't have any excuse for me to look after her. "Okay, but no funny business!" I pulled away and straitened out my shirt that he had almost taken completely off.

"I can deal with that." He smiled and walked into his bedroom leaving the door open for my entrance.

I crawled into his bed next to him. He was only in his underwear. He raised his eyebrow. "What?" I asked.

"You're going to sleep in pants?" I think he just wanted me naked.

I sighed and got out of bed to slide them off. Andy wouldn't take his eyes off of me. When I crawled back into the bed and he warped his arm around me.

"Better?" I asked resting my head on his shoulder looking into his glassy blue eyes.

"Much," he smiled and blew out the candle.

All I could think of in the darkness was what if something happened to Esther while I was here. I couldn't seem to close my eyes. And I must have been moving a lot. Andy began placing kisses on my arms and collar bone.

"Go to sleep," he begged putting his head back on the pillow.

I obeyed and rested my head back on his shoulder. But I couldn't completely obey, my mind wouldn't let go of Esther and what could happen to her.
