3. Chapter Three: Surprise or not?

They got home after a drive through the city. For what she saw, Ryanne could tell that Los Angeles was a very beautiful city where people could really do anything they wanted to.
The car stopped in front of a two floor house with a not-so-big garden in front of it; it was white with a porch on the front.
«Home sweet home» Hayley said while opening the massive wood door and leaving the baggages on the pavement.
Ryanne started to look around. A black angle couch was in the center of the living room just in front of flat screen television and a giant stereo.
There were two doors facing the living area: the kitchen door, which was very functional for what she could see, and the closet.
Right behind the couch there were the stairs painted in black.
«It’s beautiful, Hayls» and opened in a wide smile.
«Thank you, honey. Let me show you your room so you can change and unpack» the other answered as she led her friend upstairs.
There, there were three rooms: Hayley’s room, guests’ room and a bathroom.
The guests’ room had light blue walls and in the center there was a double bed with black and white napkins. On the left side a bedside table, in front of it a closet and an old frame mirror. The room was lightened by a luminous window decorated with black curtains.
«Here. So you have the bathroom right outside the room and you can fill the closet with your things. There’s no problem, really. I leave you so you can do your things. If you need me I’m downstairs. I gonna call Dylan to let her know that you’ve arrived»
«Thanks, sis» Ry said as the friend exited the room with a smile and closing the door behind her.
The girl sighed as she started to unpack the few things she needed to take a shower and when she finished, she grabbed them and went straight to the bathroom, opened the water, slipped off of her clothes and right under the water stream.
After what seemed forever, she got out and put on a soft and white bath robe. She dryed off her bicolor hair, got dressed and slipped out the door and downstairs.
She searched her friend for a while till she got to the kitchen and find Hayley talking to another girl with long brown hair and green strands who was giving her her back.
«Here she is!» Hayley exclaimed pointing with her chin in Ry’s direction. The other girl, at this point, turn to face the new coming with a giant smile covering her lips.
«No way!» Ryanne said, almost shout of happiness as she moved toward the other one to surround her in a huge hug. «The other third! How are you doing, girl?! Long time no see!»
Dylan kept the held on her friend as she answered: «I know, right? I missed you two so fucking much.»
«But we’re gonna fix this hole, won’t we? Starting with tonight, which is pretty much the reason why I asked you to come here in L.A. besides the fact that I wanted to see you again so badly!» Hayls said kinda excited.
«What are you up to, Hayley? You know that when you talk like this you scare the living shit outta me…»Ry said with a skeptical expression on her face.
«Don’t worry honey, nothing too bad. I think… Anyway, there’s going to be a party tonight in one of the best club here, the ‘Moonlight’ (A/N I don’t even know if it really exist xD It’s just a made up name that popped into my mind :P)…»
«And…?» Dylan questioned.
«And we’re invited and we’re going to go since it’s a private party just for the ones who went to the Johnson High. Yay!»
«Ugh…» Ryanne said. She wasn’t the party type at all. “Maybe I could handle this. I mean, for them, so we can be together again…”
«Please!!!!!!!!!» she said staring at the other two.
«Okay, fine, we’re in.» Dylan said as Ryanne nodded.
«Thank you!!»
«At what time do we need to be there?» kept Dylan asking.
«At 9 p.m.. We’re gonna have so much fun! It’s been a while since last time I went to a party…» answered Hayley.
«I hope the music won’t be garbage…» mumbled Ry.
«Oh, don’t worry sis. It’s the only club where the play only rock music and so on» said Hayls with a wide smile knowing that with her word she fully convinced her friend.
«Cool!» the other two said at the same time and then laughed.
They kept chatting around random things, boys, music, jobs and so on, till Dylan asked: «Dudes, what time is it?»
«Oh crap! It already 7! We need to get ready!» Hayley said as she jumped up from her chair and rushed out of the room for hers.
After half and an hour the three of them were already in Hayley’s car leaving for the club. They all got dressed with dresses: Hayley was wearing a dark purple knee-long stretched dress with her rider black boots; Dylan a green dress with a lil wide skirt with a black belt around her waist and black stilettos; Ryanne was wearing total black: black thigh-long dress without sleeves and black ankle-high-heel-boots decorated with some studs. All of them were also wearing black nail polish and make up. Very rock ‘n’ roll.
They got at the venue when it was 9.15 p.m. and saw, even from the outside, that the place was already pretty crowded. Half of them they didn’t even know.
“Why have I accepted to come?!” Ry thought to herself while walking in with her friends.
As the three girls stepped in and were visible by all the people, or most of them, all the chitty-chat stopped as guys and girls turned to face them leaving Asking Alexandria, who were being played at that moment, as background.
«What?» Ryanne asked them all «We’re not naked and we’re not fucking clowns» and started to move to the other side of the room followed immediately by Hayley and Dylan and, still, by the gaze of the rest of the people.
“This is going to be a looooooooooong night” she thought and sighed heavily.
