" I miss you"

I smiled into my pillow as the words left Ashley's mouth from the other side of the faded computer screen.

It's been a month since they left and me and Ash have tried to at least call once a night.

" I miss you too"

He smiled wider leaning back into the couch.

" only 1 month untill you graduate, excited?"

I groaned and hid my face in my cold pillow that I was laying on.

" shut up"

" oh come on, it won't be that bad"

I looked up at him and glared at the screen causing him to tilt his head back with laughter.

" come on, you'll be fine , besides! You turn 18 that day, and we'll be legal!"

I rubbed my face propping myself on my elbows.

" I'd be happier if you guys could be there..."

He sadly smiled before sighing

" I know babe, you don't know how much I want to but ill be hours away , I can't."

I sighed also before nodding

" I know"

He gave me a smile

" parents giving you a hard time about college?" he asked and i groaned louder.

" shut up"

" I'll take that as a yes" I heard him chuckle and I nodded

" I told my mom that I wanted to take a year off , maybe find a band, or something like work at a tattoo place and she absolutely flipped ranting on and on about how I need a real job blah blah blah"

" that is a real job! What about jake?" He asked

" well he kind of just left one day, but she didn't mind saying oh how's he's following his dreams. Just because she thinks girls can't be in a band"

I rubbed my face feeling a few tears threaten to come out as I let out a shaky breath.

" I just want to have control over my fucking life"

I saw his eyes soften

" hey, hey don't cry, listen, you can do whatever you want and no matter what she says it's your life I think you'd be amazing in a band, just relax and don't worry, you'll figure it out" I smiled a little before sighing out and looking at the screen.

" where is everybody? It's oddly quiet" I said trying to change the subject.

He smiled warmly before laughing.

" they're all out at the bar well, minus jinxx who's in his bed calling Sammi"

I frowned a little, he hasn't gone out with them this whole tour.

" why didn't you go?"

" because, I wanted to call you, plus, I don't want to go get wasted at a bar and end up doing something ill regret" he said and instantly a smile appeared on my face.

I didnt know he cared so much.

" still I feel bad.. All because of me I know you love to have fun"

He smiled before raising up a Glass bottle

" you and my beer is all The fun I need" he said causing me to laugh and lean into my bed Again

" you're cute"

" why thank you" he replied tipping his beer to his lips causing me to smile wider but make my ache for him grow more.

" so how are you doing?" He asked putting the bottle down suddenly getting serious.

I rubbed my arms shifting so I was sitting up.

" good"

He raised an eyebrow

" honestly? " he asked and I nodded

" no ones given you any shit at school?"

" I didn't say that.. Yes they have, but I'm dealing with it"

" in what ways" he asked raising an eyebrow again.

" not the way you're thinking ash" I said and I saw a small smile appear on his lips

" promise?"

I rolled up my sleeves before tucking my legs under me and showing my blank wrists to the screen.

" promise"

He smiled wider and I leaned back down rolling the sleeves down and Resting my chin in my hand.

" good"

" so how's tour?" I asked and he shrugged putting his beer down on the table.

" it's good, It would be better if you were here"

I chuckled feeling my heart warm and my body tingle.

" you're so corny ash"

He pouted and I laughed just as I heard the door leading to the bunks open causing Ashley to look up.

" hey, talking to Jess?" I heard jinx ask before he pushed Ashley over and sat next to him causing me to laugh again for the millionth time this night.

He smiled and waved once he saw me

" hey Jess how are you?"

" good how about you dad "

He laughed a little before Ashley stood up.

"Im going to take a piss"

I laughed as he walked away and jinxx shifted more to the screen

" he's so lovely" jinxx muttered and I agreed before he looked at the screen seriousness taking over his eyes.

" so you're good though? Nothing I should know about?" He asked raising an eye brow and I shook my head

" nope, ash already asked jinxx don't worry " I said and I saw him smile

" promise?"

I nodded

" of course jinxx"

He smiled just as Ashley walked back in and sat down.

" we'll I'm going back to call Sammi back I was suppose to be getting A drink"

Jinxx stood up and smiled at the Camera

" goodnight i love you Jess"

" night jinxx love you too"

He walked off and I yawned leaning into the bed

" tired?" Ashley asked with an amused tone and I nodded

" it's 2am here"

His eyes widened

" shit Jess you should have told me! Go to bed"

I groaned Into the pillow

" no I want to talk to you" I wined and he laughed

" I'll text you tomorrow okay? Please get some sleep or your brother will set me on fire"

I groaned before nodding my head ,a smirk tugging on my lips

" I love you so much did you know that?" He asked and I smiled shutting the light off and leaning against my pillow propping the computer on it's side

" Mmm I love you too.did you know that?"

He smiled

" I can't wait to see you whenever that is. Goodnight baby" he said and I smiled again

" night ash"

With that the chat screen closed and I sighed shutting the lid of my computer and pushing it on my bedside table before burying my head in the pillow.

God I'm so sick of Sleeping alone
