I'm a Loaded Gun (Part 2)

The Agreement

Andys POV

The next few weeks went by in a blur. I was pretty much living in the studio again. I spent most of my day writing with Bob and Ashley, or going to the quiet room in the studio so I could write away from everyone else. Reya was spending most of her time with Siren, who needed help baby shopping and setting up the nursery since Ashley was always busy with the studio too. The last few days we haven’t even been able to even see each other. I get home late and leave early in the morning. The only time we spend together is when we are cuddled up in bed. Usually when I get home she is already asleep. We decided as a band that we were going to have a party this weekend over at Ashley and Siren’s house. We were going to grill on their patio and all catch up with our little family.

I checked my phone as I walked in the door, 12:13 A.M. My body was exhausted, my voice was worn, and my mind was basically dead. I noticed the kitchen lights on and so were the back porch lights. I stepped out onto the porch and couldn’t help but smile as I saw Reya sound asleep in the hammock with a book on her chest. She must have fallen asleep while out here reading. I quietly closed the door behind me and took my bag upstairs and placed it next to my nightstand. I went back downstairs and stood next to the hammock, just enjoying the look of her beautiful face in sleep. With a sigh, I reached down and gently pulled her into my arms. I carried her up the stairs and laid her down on her side of the bed. I pulled off my shirt and jeans and dropped them in the hamper. I was so ready to finally rest. With the sheet pulled up over us, I reached across the bed and wrapped my arms around Reya, pulling our bodies together and resting my head against her neck. I breathed in deeply, drinking in that sweet familiar smell of her perfume. My whole body was at ease and I was asleep almost instantly.

I woke up slowly for once, my senses fading in gradually. My eyes weren’t open yet, but I could feel Reya’s body wrapped up with mine, her arms around my torso and her head on my chest. One of my hands was tangled in her hair. I just savored the feeling as I stroked her head and ran my fingers through her long curly hair. Her hand that had been resting on my stomach slowly ran up to my shoulder and rested near my collar bone.

“You’re still here,” she murmured.

I kissed her hair.

“I hope you don’t have to go anywhere today,” she whispered.

“Nope, I’m all yours today.”

“Good.” Her lips pressed against my bare chest. “I don’t think I’ve had a moment with you all to myself for a month. I’ve missed little things like waking up with you.”

“Me too, babe,” I whispered. “Things have been pretty crazy. How about I go make some hot tea and we can lay in bed and just enjoy some alone time?”

“Mmmm that sounds wonderful.”

“Mint, lemon, or wild berry tea?”

“How about peppermint?” she smiled.

“Anything,” I said with my lips against hers. I slipped out of bed and went downstairs to the kitchen. I found the two mugs that Siren had painted for us, mine reading “The Prophet” and hers saying “Fallen Angel”. I put the water in the coffee pot to heat up and found the box with the peppermint tea. I tossed a packet into Reya’s mug and another into mine. I heard the stairs creak and smiled as Reya walked into the kitchen, her hair a perfect mess of curly copper ribbons, wearing one of my oversized tee shirts that went to the middle of her thighs. She came over to me and wrapped her arms around me and rested her head against me. “We can spend the whole day inside or we can go out if you want?”

“Both,” she smiled tiredly. “How about we spend the morning just having alone time and we can go shopping or something later. I need to pick up some groceries and stuff. How about I make breakfast and you do the dishes?”

“That works,” I laughed into her hair.

“Bacon, bagels, and eggs for you?” She walked over the fridge and turned back to look at me.

“How about I make French toast?”

She laughed at me, “I don’t trust you with cooking yet. How about I make the French toast?”

“Fair enough.” I watched silently as she mixed the eggs and milk in bowl and dipped the toast, putting it on the same pan she was frying the bacon, and putting on the eggs last after moving the toast to two plates. I poured out the water into the mugs and added the sugar into her mug and a bit of lemon in mine. I gave her a peck on the lips as I placed her mug in front of her. “Breakfast in bed?”

“Or the hammock. It’s a really nice day.”

I grabbed our plates and carried them out the hammock, and she carried the mugs. I laid with the plates on my stomach so she could get in next to me. With the mugs on the side table, we enjoyed our breakfast in the shade of our porch with the sounds of the ocean humming in our ears. “Ahh we need more days like this. Days like this are the best.”

She took another bite of her bacon strip, the corners of her mouth making a smile. “You know? If someone had told me when I was fifteen that I would have a life like this when I am 21 I would have laughed so hard. I still can’t believe how pregnant Siren is. She had a definite bump now. The other day when we were shopping for a changing station she said she could feel it moving!”

“That’s crazy,” I laughed. I can’t imagine how weird it would be to just be walking around and start feeling something in your gut moving around.

“I know! It must be weird for her. She’s so excited about this baby. I’m happy for her, and Ashley checks on her like every second of the day to make sure she’s feeling okay or has everything she needs.”

“I know,” I groaned. “When we are in the studio we always have to yell at him to put his phone down and that if something happened that you or she would call one of us. She’s not even due for another few months right?”

“Right, she’s due October 10th. Next week she will be five months, she said she’s got a huge baby appointment. That also means only three months till the wedding. Is your mom still coming here next month to help with planning?”

“As far as I know, but you know too that I’ll be gone the last two weeks of July and most of August with promotional stuff for the next record.”

She sighed loudly, “That’s really gonna suck. I’m gonna be all alone for six weeks?”

“I’m sorry, but when I get back there will be a week left till the wedding and we will get two weeks of time just for us. Plus my mom will be here two weeks before the wedding to help you with the last minute things. I‘m sure you and Siren will be plenty busy.” I could tell she was still sad. I leaned closer to her ear, pulling her body very close to mine. I whispered into her ear, “Think about how wonderful our honeymoon is going to be.” I could feel her whole body tense, and she let out a shaky breath of air.

“Damnit, Andy,” she huffed.

I kissed the side of her face. “We will figure it out.”

“I know.” She turned to look at me, “I’m gonna go get ready to go out, you take care of the dishes.”

“Fine,” I said as I gave her kiss.

She got up and ruffled her hair as she went back into the house. I groaned as I got out of the hammock and carried our dishes back to the kitchen. Whiskey and Crow got the last of the food bits on our plates. I rinsed all the plates and cooking stuff and put them in the dishwasher. I went back to master bedroom and heard the shower was on, and Reya’s quiet singing along with the Bluetooth speaker system we had put in the bathroom. I coughed a laugh as I realized she was singing along to “Shake it” by Metro Station. I cracked open the door, noticing her panties and my shirt on the floor by the sink. I could see through the frosted glass door of the shower the outline of her body as she stood under the rain shower head. I slipped off my boxers and tiptoed across the tile floor. I opened the door, her back to me. “Andy!” she squealed as she turned to see me. “What are you doing?”

“Shaking it,” I laughed as I tried to dance.

She cracked up laughing and shoved me playfully, “I don’t even get a shower alone.”

“We need to save the polar bears! Save water!” I said. She rolled her eyes at me. “Come on I need a shower too! It’s more fun this way.”

That earned a smile from her, “Fine, but no funny business, Biersack.”

I leaned into her with her back now pressed against the wall of the shower, “Serious is my middle name.”

“I thought it was Dennis,” she giggled. She pushed me back. “No sex.” I gave her a puppy dog face. “Andy, don’t act like that. You agreed.”

“So you aren’t even a little frisky right now?”

She collected herself, “No.”

“I don’t believe you.”

I put my lips on her neck, her knees began to shake, “And-Andy…oh god…Andy…”

I covered her mouth with mine. Her body pushed me back. I stopped and stared at her, pretty guilty with myself. What happened next…? I wasn’t ready for. She shoved me back into the tile wall and smashed her mouth into mine. Her hands wrapped around my neck firmly, one hand harshly gripping the hair on the right side of my head. Her other hand ventured down my abdomen and to my pelvis. I jumped as she grabbed me. I was not used to this Reya, but God damn it was sexy. We caressed each other, my hand moving to her thigh. She leaned back and I opened my eyes into her green eyes.
She gave me the most devious smirk, “You can take care of the rest.” She pushed past me and stepped out of the shower. What the fuck?

Notes

Yes another semi steamy chapter. Will Andy and Reya be able to keep their agreement?
