Andy Biersack oneshots! - Comments
@smutty pariah
Don't worry, I understood what you were trying to say. And I agree, writers have lot of shit to go through and it's not easy, everyone has their own way of dealing with the issues. And it gets on my nerves when people are just plain mean without respecting someone's work.
Damn, that was the biggest fail of a comment ever. look at all the spelling errors! It's almost impossible to discern what I meant! I kinda want to leave it and not even translate because it's such an unholy mess... :~}
I need to not comment when I have migraines!
@Eleanor
People are cowards and don't have the balls to leave me an outright mean comment. But I'll have the ratings to multiple stories of mine drop within five minutes of each other (which would require a rating of like a 1 at this point).
I get a lot of back-handed, cunty 'compliments,' as though I wouldn't notice, and I'll still roll over and appreciate them.
Most recently, I've had some issues where some hoity-tooth authors were really major assholes. They deleted my comments (that were not negative but were an opinion), and went in to insult whole genres, including newer authors and the type of writing I had done in general.
I went ahead and wrote them an entire story about their favorite subject. It did pretty well, I thought, for something so passé.
I don't ignore feedback in the sense that I'm an egotistical grudge holder that's willing to admit it. But I still write whatever I want. Very rarely have I changed a plot because of some else's inclinations. I think Bloody Lobely was the only time, and I agree it turned out the better for it. Sometimes it's better to listen to your bros, right?
(long response!)

Yes, that's exactly it. Endless editing and rewriting stuff. Takes forever.
As for the feedback, I have never got that much mean comments, but I just try to concentrate on the lovely ones. Sounds like a cliche, but I tend to overthink things, so it's better just to ignore.
@Eleanor
I know what you mean. I find I write things once, then edit them, then they get edited again when I post them the first time on tumblr, then they get edited again in final copy when they're archived here on the BVB site. Even then, occasionally, I'll miss something. That's why when people really ride me about updating (especially here, right after I've posted), it's hard for me not to get incredibly pissed off. I've had up to 7 stories going at once before and I am NOT naturally a very nice person; putting up with that kind of entitlement and bullshittery is not in my nature.
Feedback is nice, but I've found that, the more people that read your stuff, the more hate you may tend to attract, unless you kiss ass or are generic. There are ways around that, but diplomacy is not my strongsuit.

Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words and it means a lot to get feedback (as I'm sure you'll agree with me). I've actually been writing a seperate story for about 2 weeks now, but it's not ready for posting yet. I want it to be just like I imagined and if I manage to write it about half, I'll put up a chapter and see if people like it. It's a more difficult process, because I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to long stories, while on the other hand, these oneshots are mainly drabbles and aren't that well written.
I loved it! I'll read whatever you write. If it's good, I enjoy oneshots, like yours. I also enjoy the hideously long perverted serpents of my arch-nemesis (they generally clear like 100 chapters), but don't tell her. Have to keep up a nice, professionally hostile rivalry and all ;3 . So I say, write whatever you feel like. Though if it gets really long, maybe make it a separate story?
@Eleanor
Awesome! And don't worry about it- I think about smoking every single day, every single hour, either way. It's why I wish Andy would quit so badly. He makes it look good, right? And anything he makes look good is going to look cool to a bunch of kids. Problems is, anything he does looks good. I've read so much fan fiction romanticizing smoking with Andy in it, it really sucks. I started when I was 14, and now I'm 34. I wish every kid that starts could see the shit I've coughed up, and know how miserable it is to essentially be a drug addict that can't indulge anymore. So, honestly, one more story that has it as a side feature is just a drop in the ocean. I just always mention it because it chafes my crack. It was still really good or I wouldn't have said anything.
@smutty pariah
Thank you! The sequel will most likely be written soon :)
And also, props to you for quitting smoking, I'm sorry it made you go through some bad memories.
Honestly, I totally forgot about the new girlfriend! I'm such a bad person hahah
