If you're not keen on it, don't do it, dude. If you wanted to for your own reasons, than I'm sure you could edit the rating. Smut is not a requirement for a good story by any means, clearly.

That is the point. I actually discovered really late that I had accidentally put "Thriller" as a genre, and decided to add these types of chapters :)

yeah dude, totally. you write well. but definitely write for yourself. regardless of whether it's fanfiction or pieces you're showing at a gallery or corporate art, it's going to be better and it's going to be stronger if you are true to your vision and follow your heart. don't pander to whatever you might think other people want when it comes to making art unless that's your sole means of making a living. dig? ;)
