the smutty garbage i write is up on another site. because i'm an pompous fuck and don't want it associated with my 'super-awesome' 'anathema' shit. if you really want to read it, message me, i can tell you where to find it. it really is, literally, just smutty garbage. haha! ;)
@anathema
About the petting dogs/writing at parties, I have never related to something so much in my life. And since I'm still a teenager, I'm still at the age where I can live for my hobbies, but that will probably change in the next few years. I hope your Christmas turns out better than you expect, and that I'll see whatever you write at the party on the site. :)
@BVBfangirlqueen
not exactly, more like the fucking holidays, yuck. haha! i haven't been able to come for the holidays in years (that happens when you live across the continent and you're an adult and have a job), but since i'll be between jobs, my mom decided to make me come & pay for it. yay? i'm not big on gathering for holiday shit, large gatherings of people, or that kind of thing. i don't like parties. especially as i'm going through some shit that i don't, for example, feel like my poor sister's in-laws need to hear about (but if they don't hear about it, they'll have no idea why i'm acting so differently from other years, type of thing), but dogs are definitely awesome, they're part of what i live for, so to speak. ;) so i'll just sit with the dog. maybe write smut on my phone. sounds like a plan.
though i don't live for bvb/music or writing or veterinary medicine, i just enjoy those things. i live for the ones who love me and want me to continue to live, and my pets, who are dependent on me. it's an ethical compulsion.
@anathema
Family troubles? I know the feeling. But dogs are super awesome, so that's good. :) I hope you find a great new job! :D (And I'll never give up, writing [and BVB] is what I live for. :) )
yay! i figured you'd abandoned this and gave up long ago!
well, my internship just finished, so i plan to get a new job, being as i'm, eh, an adult. ;) since i'm between jobs, my mum's flying me out to go visit my family, which is nice, i guess, sort of. it will be really intense, and i'll get nothing done, but at least i'll finally get to meet my sister's dog (especially pertinent because i'm a veterinarian).
@A Wild One
Thank you! :D I'm trying to update, but schoolwork and finals are going to be the death of me. I should have the next chapter up soon, it's a long one.

@BVBfangirlqueen
Aw, shucks! Just means I'm not headed for the big screen is all. No big deal- I'm all about vet med! ;)
@anathema
Oh wow, I'm so sorry I had no idea. :( I admire your ability to put a bold face on the situation and still have the best life you can. I can't imaginge how difficult that must be sometimes.
@BVBfangirlqueen
Yeah, it's not quite that. At the same time I developed problems with math and other subjects I hadn't had before. I'm actually a doctor (granted, a veterinarian, but you learn a lot of the same things), and in retrospect I imagine I have an adult-onset learning disability. I had testing for it that was pretty extensive, and they identified part of it. But my dysthymia created noise in the results. So they said to go get that "taken care of" and then to come back and get re-tested. I don't know if you know what dysthymia is, but to suggest that I could ever accomplish such a thing was ridiculous. So, even though I had all the signs of an inattentive-type disorder, with filtering problems, I never got any help. Oh well-fuck 'em! Never give up, never give in! ;)
@anathema
Yeah, I had that problem too for a while. Then I figured out that remembering lines was so much easier if I wrote a story from my character's point of view. It allows me to understand the way their minds work and therefore remember their responses. :)
Yeah, of course, when I was a kid, like, for school. Alice in wonderland, Hamlet, and, I dunno, other stuff. When I hit adolescence I lost the ability to memorize lines, so being in plays isn't an option anymore.
