Ashley comes to her rescue by pretending to be her boyfriend and afterwards she offers him a drink on the house but he turns it down. He walks her back to her car after her shift to make sure nothing happens to her then they share a sweet kiss before she invites him back to her apartment for drinks and it turns into something more.
