This is just....I just....eh..
Some of us aren't though...it may just take some digging to find really decent fiction that has a lot of detail and thought put in to it.

I agree with you and Broken Wing. It's just hard to find good writing. And some of us 18-21 year olds don't have that bad of writing. I'm turning 20 in a week and my writing is pretty popular on here (and yes, I use proper grammar, capitalization and original ideas as well)
i use proper grammar, spelling and use actual plot and i get zero to no reads. it saddens me to know that good stories dont get much and the terrible ones do. :/
True. I'm posting a story right now that is original but no one will probably read it because the girl doesn't fall in love with someone or have the generic back story of rape and abuse and bullying. So sad.

Yes a lot of the writers on here are younger writers, but not all of us are in that age bracket, I know I'm not the oldest one on here, but I doubt there's many above the age of 25, I'm 26, and only been writing for about 3 years of that. What I have found though is that people hate having their work critiqued, the amount of times I've been attacked on critiquing a particularly badly written story with a generic incest storyline *shivers* just using that as an example. One thing I would also add is people should write about what they know, like if you know nothing about sex don't write a bloody smut scene! Ok I think I'm done lol
Writers on this site are obviously young, 12-21, whatever young is to you.
This doesn't have any specific purpose, but I just want to say something.
When you are writing fanfiction, please use some amount of detail. Please use correct grammar. And please please capitalize letters. It's annoying reading fanfic and you are traveling from the upstairs bedroom, to the downstairs kitchen less than one sentence.
When you are meeting black veil brides, are you going to scream to your friend,
"OMGGG WE MEEETING THEM YASSS BITCH."
