So some of you know me as Broken Wing, but actually my name's Brandie. I started writing when I was thirteen, which was over twelve years ago. The reason I'm writing this is because I want to share something with you guys-a bit of inspiration if you will. I'm probably one of the more popular writers on this site(thanks to all of my readers<3) and I constantly get people telling me that they wish they could write as well as me. Well, the thing is-I was a really shitty writer when I first started. It took me years and years...and years...to get where I am today and that's simply because I never gave up. So in a bit of inspiration and to show all of you guys that everyone has to start at the bottom, I have dug through my old files and found the site where my very first fanfic was written. I'm not posting this for attention, I simply want all of you to see that even the people who you think are better than you really aren't-some of us are just older and have more practice.
