As you fade into the night.

" Are you sure you don't want me to stay?" Ashley asked me softly while starring down at me.

His brown eyes connected with mine making butterflies erupt in my stomach just at the sight of him. I smiled up at him as he leaned slightly over me, rubbing his soft hand over my cheek. I knew he wanted to stay with me and if it wasn't for the guys basically dragging him out he wouldn't be leaving. It had been three days already and he hasn't left my side since not that I was complaining, I enjoyed how much he cares but he needed to get rest before he was next to me In a Hospital bed himself.

"She's sure, come on ash you haven't slept in days and Andy and cc are waiting for you in the car. I can watch her for tonight" Jinxx said walking in from the bathroom making me giggle slightly and Ashley to sigh.

" I know I'm going don't get crazy" Ashley muttered, moving away slightly so he could collect his things

Jinxx snickered and moved across the room, his skinny jeans and leather jacket was replaced with a white shirt covered in various holes and black shorts. He fell into the green padded chair with a grunt and I looked back to Ashley who was just standing back up.

" I'll be okay, you need your rest" I said softly towards Ashley and he smiled in defeat

"I know, I just worry about you but I'll see you tomorrow okay?" He asked and I nodded grabbing his hand and giving it a small kiss.

"Not too early though, sleep in" I said quickly and he rolled his eyes playfully

"Sure thing mom"

He bent over and pressed his lips against mine in a smooth and easy fashion before standing up straight.

"Drive safe, I love you"

"I love you too"

With one last squeeze of my hand he let go and slung his bag over his shoulder.

" I'll see you later man" he said walking to jinxx and pressing his hand on my cousins leather clad shoulder.

"Drive safe, get some rest" jinxx called after Ashley who pressed his lips up in a smile,flashed it towards me ,then walked out the door letting it slowly click shut behind him.

"God I didn't think he would ever leave your side" jinxx muttered with a slight chuckle from his spot

"He just cares" I defended My cousin gave me a warm smile before nodding

" I know He does trust me, I've never seen him care for a person more than he cares about you.You've really changed him you know"

"He's changed me as well, in many ways" Jinxx smiled and uncrossed his feet about to speak just as a nock echoed across the room.

His head looked to the right towards the closed door.

"Come in" he shouted and it made me curious.

"Who is it?" I asked and he looked to me shrugging

"The guys usually don't nock, maybe a nurse" he said The door opened and then clicked close again.

Jinxx looked back to where my vision still couldn't see and his eyes light up in a smile.

"Oh my god!"

In an instant he was out of his seat and in the arms of a women. She was in her 50's with long blond hair, wearing white capris and a brown flowing shirt, momma Jinxx.

"Hey baby" she called smothering her son in a hug.

I smiled shifting up slightly in the bed watching them hug each other tight. I knew how much they missed each other and God I missed her just as much since she was the closest thing I have to a mom. After a few minutes they pulled apart and she turned to me.

" my other baby!" She called and ran to my bed.

I let a smile fall across my face as she bent down and grabbed me In a Gentle hug.

"God I was so worried about you, I'm so glad you're okay I couldn't bare to lose you too" she said into my neck and I smiled.

"Wouldn't dream of leaving you guys"

She pulled away from me and kissed my cheek before sitting in the chair next to my bed. Jinxx copied her actions and sat in the chair next to hers.

"I had no idea you were coming" he said to her while she smiled and shrugged

" it was last minute, I can't stay long only until tomorrow night and I can only stay right now for 5 minutes because it's passed visitors hours but I just needed to come so I begged to be let up" she said a

Me and jinxx smiled at each other and I laid back in the bed.

"God I haven't seen you in forever, it sucks it had to be here but been too long dear" she said to me and I laughed shrugging

"The funeral I think"

She let out a sad nod

"I believe so, so how have things been?" She asked and me and Jinxx watched each other

"Well you can kind of guess" Jinxx said softly and she looked to me and opened her mouth in a 'oh' expression.

"Bullying still?"

Me and Jinxx let out a sad nod while I sat there silently looking at the scratchy white blanket that covered my legs.


"Well they're the ones who chased her so" jinx said trailing off and momma jinx nodded

"she better not be going back there" she said sternly to her son who almost choked under her stare making me smile

"She's not mom, she's going to tour with us for awhile" Momma jinxx turned to me and smiled nodding

"Lucky girl"

"So how are you? What's: going on with the damage"She asked towards me and I shrugged pointing to Jinxx

"You act as if I've been paying attention" She chuckled before looking to Jinxx "

Well she cracked 4 ribs, so that'll be like 2 weeks until they heal-"

My mind wandered off just as my phone buzzed from beside me.I unlocked it and saw a message from Ashley.

I'm home, I'm going right to bed because I'm so tired, goodnight beautiful I love you so much see you tomorrow<3

I smiled and replied

I love you too, see you tomorrow <3

"Jess!"

My head snapped over to momma Jinxx who laughed along with jinxx

"You really need to stop spacing, out" I rolled my eyes

"Sorry, what's up?" I asked

they both chuckled at each other

"I said I have to get going its around 11 but I'll be by tomorrow to say goodbye" she explained standing up

I saw Jinxx sigh sadly, I knew how much he missed her

" I'll see you guys soon, I love you both" she said leaning down to kiss my head

"Love you too" She smiled and bent down To kiss jinxx's head.

"I'll see you two later"


With that she walked out of the room while jinxx stretched out letting out a big, long yawn.

"God it's late, how about some sleep?" He questioned and I nodded feeling my eyes ache from lack of sleep.

He stood up to go to the chair but I grabbed his hand like a needy child. He looked down at me with crystal blue eyes.

"Can you please lay next to me?" A small smile fell upon his pink lips as he nodded.

"Of course but you have to tell me if I hurt you" I nodded eagerly and he smiled again

He looked at me as if solving a puzzle before nodding.

"I'll go on the other side so I don't hurt you okay?" He asked and I nodded watching as he walked slowly to the other side of me.

He flicked the switch on the back wall sending us both into calm darkness. Jinxx slowly fell into the hospital bed next to me and pushed his arm cautiously around my shoulders. I moved next to him closely and rested my head against his warm chest.

We laid in silence for awhile until I broke it.

"So do you know if you're going on tour soon?"

"Not really" Jinxx said in an almost whisper

"What does that mean?"

" well we haven't set dates yet but we're waiting for you to recover, I can't have you folding shirts hurt now can i?" He asked and I could see a glimpse of a smile settling upon his lips from the reflection of moonlight coming in from the far window.

I felt jot run through my body as I remembered the deal we had made before, I got to be the merchandise girl.

" I can't wait"

"you just need to get better, I know you weren't listening so I'll say it again, you'll need to be in bed for at least 2 weeks" I groaned at that making my cousin push my shoulder gently "I know but you need to okay? You're really hurt. That means the couch or your bed for at least a week and then we'll see how it goes from there" I nodded in defeat silently.

"Jinxx?" I asked again after more silence

"Yeah Jess?"he replied sleepily

"Thank you"

"For what?" I let out a smile pull into my lips as I hugged my cousin closer to my body, his musty scent made me feel at home and it made me feel safe.

"For everything" He pressed a kiss on my forehead

"God I love you" he breathed out

"I love you too"

With that we let the silence fill the air, no more needed to be said, the silence could say it for us.
