I wake up to find us back in LA. Valerey had already gotten up and was probably ready to go home. I got up and got dressed in my most casual looking outfit ever; don’t want to make Val think something is happening today. When I went to the front of the bus Valerey, Andy, and Dylen were the only ones awake yet. Valerey was dressed in her usual perky, dressy, but still dark ensemble and she looks absolutely beautiful. Soon this woman will hopefully be mine forever.

“Hey guys, are we waiting for the others?” I ask as I enter the room

“Yea, Dylen wants us all to get something to eat as one last day together” Andy answered

“Alright, then Dylen should be the one to wake the others up” I say and he looks at me

“Why me?”

“Because you’re the one who wants us to hang out today”

“Fine” With that him and Valerey head to the bunk area to wake the others and I sit down next to Andy

“You ready for today?” He asks

“I think so, I just hope she says yes”

“She will, don’t worry, just keep her out of your house while I set everything up”

“Will do”

With that everyone gets off the bus as we head to a Golden Corral to have our end of tour meal together. After that everyone heads home except me, Valerey, and Andy. Andy heads over to our house while I try to find things for me and Valerey to do all day; well most of the day, we slept until 1 pm.

“So what do you want to do?” I ask, hoping she might have something in mind

“Go home” She says, slight irritation in her voice

“Other than that. Let’s have some fun before we go home”

“We’ve been on tour for two months; I think we’ve had enough fun”

“Come on, Val, first day off tour, first day we can be alone together after two months”

Valerey sighs from irritation “Fine”

“Now what do you want to do?”

“I don’t care”

“Come on, you must have something you’ve been wanting to do all tour”

“I said I don’t care” She says, irritation now obvious in her voice

“Let’s just go to the movies”

“Hey, I’m sorry about snapping at you” Valerey says after a few minutes of walking

I smile at her understandingly “It’s fine, I know you didn’t mean to”

She smiles back at me “This is why I love you. I just wish I could trust you completely”

She says, the last part quieter than the first.

“What was that?” I ask, pretending not to hear her

“Nothing...”

“Alright”

I know she can’t trust me and I know that she’s trying to trust me. I just wish I could fix her past; make it so that none of this awful stuff ever happened to her. I wish she could trust me without a wave of doubt, but I know if it does happen it will be years from now. She’s broken even if she tries her best to hide it. That’s why I’m starting to second guess proposing to her. I fear that she’ll say no. I’ll stay by her no matter what she says, but I’m afraid that if she says no, she’ll trust me even less.

Another chapter up! Sorry it's a few days late, I've been having a bit of writer's block lately. Also, I saw this on another fanfic, so I'm gonna start doing a Question of the Week
