Children Of Denial- A Wild Ones FanFiction

Depression

“Okay everybody. I know that you want more music but we are going to take a short break. I see some of you in the crowd needing tissues…” Insurgent drabbled on for the time being. Getting up I walked over to my wardrobe. Opening up the bottom drawer, I pulled out my kleenex. “Hey, you okay?” A voice asked. Wiping my nose, I turned. CC had walked up to me. “Yea, I’m fine. Song just got to me. Does that a lot. Now if you’ll excuse me, we have a set to get back to. Thanks for checking on me.” I dried my tears, and twirled my sticks. Walking back to my kit, I looked over to where Black Veil Brides was watching us. As I sat down, I hit both of my kick beaters, signifying that I was ready to start. “Who’s ready to rock out?! Here’s to your Perfect Weapons!!” Insurgent shouted into the mic. After their performance is over
“I hope that you guys had fun! See us at the next stop!” The Insurgent finished singing/speaking and we all went to side stage to grab some free merchandise and picks. I grabbed a signed pair of drumsticks. All five of us walked out simultaneously, it felt so slow motion, like you know those movies where the main character is walking really slowly away from a battle they just fought and then something explodes behind them? Yea it felt like that. Once we got up to the podium we joined hands the best we could and took a bow. Afterwards we threw the merch out into the crowd. We walked backstage after once again bowing. “You guys were awesome!!” I was startled. Looking over to our right, sat Black Veil Brides. “Thanks, but we can’t take all the credit. You guys were the ones to come up with all the cool shit.” Valiant said. “Yea we just practice for hours on end until we get it right.” I say. “Hey you guys wanna come back to the bus and maybe hang for a bit, show us a few tricks?” Exile asked. ‘God please no.’ I thought. “Guys, I’m just gonna go somewhere..” I spoke softly, pointing off somewhere. I heard a ‘yeah whatever’ from someone. That’s always the case. I’m the forgotten one. I went around the group who was engrossed in a conversation. Walking off I jumped off the back of the stage. No one was around. I saw a tree in the distance and decided to go there. Little did I know someone was following me. Jinxx POV
I noticed The Griever say something but I couldn’t hear what it was because CC was talking my ear off. I did hear The Insurgent respond to whatever Griever had said. Soon the Griever walked around us, jumped off the back of the stage and walked away. Slowly I drifted away from the group and followed her. I noticed her heading to a tree. ‘Funny, I thought that she would have headed back to the bus.’ I thought. I watched as she climbed the tree, heading up really high. ‘God I hope she isn’t suicidal.’ I whispered to myself. Slowly I made my way over to the same tree, and climbed it. I saw her sitting on a branch, crying silently. She hadn't noticed me yet then I guess. I settled myself on a branch lower than hers, but still higher up. Hearing her silently sniffling broke my heart. She’s only 18 and still a loner in her own band. I sat there for about a minute before I felt something on my hair. (Trigger Warning) Reaching up, I pulled my fingers away to reveal a drop of blood. I almost started crying. I looked up avoiding another blood drop and called out to her.

Notes

Hi Guys! Sorry that it took me so long to update, I had some projects for school. I promise not to become one of those inactive writers, that just leave their story hanging. I hope you guys like this chapter, I'm trying not to add all that suicidal crap because I don't want people who are a week-a few months/years clean to go back to their old habits. Purdy Boy Out!
