Nonstop To Nowhere - Fallen Angel (Tome I)

Nice to meet you

The three friends talked about boys during a little while. However, Skylar wasn't really involved in the discussion, she was lost in her thought. She was totally obsessed by the eyes of this man she had met at the bar a few minutes ago. She thought only of them. A smile came across her lips when she realized that she didn't even know his name. She remembered perfectly his face, his build, his haircut, his tattoos, but his name... "Maybe he didn't tell me ..." she thought as she replayed their conversation in her head.

Skylar was so drowned in her thoughts that she jumped slightly when someone patted her shoulder and saw her friends' eyes full of meaning for one and surprised for the other. She turned around secretly hoping that it was this hypnotist looking man. A smile appeared on the young woman's lips and he offered her a drink, but in a quieter place this time.

- I spotted a quieter corner in the bar but if you want we can move and go somewhere else. He suggested.
- I think that somewhere else will be the best. She replied, looking at her friends.

He smiles, understanding the reason for this choice. Skylar didn't want her friends trying to find out what was going on between them. A thing they often did when they drink a little to much alcool. He took a few seconds to warn his friends that they weren't waiting for him to come at the hotel and came back to her. He shyly put his hand on Skylar's back as they headed to the exit, triggering a thrill that ran up and down the dancer's spine.

Skylar suggested to go to a nice little bar where she often went with Jenny a little further on Ocean Drive who was about ten minutes from where they were. It was a bar less lively than the Baja Sharkeez but she particularly liked for its exceptional view of the sea and the soothing atmosphere of the place. Indeed, it was at the end of a pier with a 360° view of the city and the sea.

He was amazed by the view in front of him and took out his phone to take a picture. As the good curious girl she was, Skylar couldn't help but ask him more questions like if he missed his family, if he stayed in Miami for a long time... He patiently answered and added that he was in a divorce proceedings and therefore that, it was good for him to be able to escape all of that. He added that besides his parents, the missing wasn't too much felt because his friends were a real united family despite the arguments and tensions that there might be sometimes. He added that he remained in Miami only until July 10th.

They exchanged a little more and he smiled when he learned that she was mainly listening to rockabilly or blues, but because of her dancing profession she was very eclectic in her musical repertoire. She also told him that she couldn't stand rap or metal at all.

- What do you do in life ? He then asked.
- I'm a dancer in the most famous cabaret of the city. She said, laughing lightly, quoting the Rouge Burlesque like that. I am lucky to be able to live on my passion.
- Aren't you a little young to already work? He ventured to ask.
- I'm still 25 years old, you know. She smiled.
- You're not going to complain about looking younger, don't you ! He laughed.
- I grumble a lot that's true but not for that ... she replied smiling again. And you, have you been doing your job for a long time?
- More than ten years ...
- And you don't get tired of it?
- I really like what I do and then my job involves a lot of different activities so I guess you can never be tired of it...

He remained vague about his profession. He didn't seem to want to talk about it and Skylar totally respect that. In any case, for her, once they had slept together, they would never see each other again, so what's the use?

- Anyways, I didn't think of asking to you for it rather but what's your name? He asked, smiling slightly.
- My name is Skylar, what's yours?
- Andy.

Some guys whistled after Skylar and she rolled her eyes exasperated.

- Oh là là, you guys can be so annoying sometimes by whistling after the first girl you see. She sighed, smiling slightly.
- I really like your "Oh là là," it's cute and typically French, which is strange coming from an American girl. He smiles.

Skylar felt her heart skips a beat for the second time this evening and realized at that moment that her heart was beating like a drum.

- I am not American, but French.
- Really ? But you have no accent ...
- I live here since I was 18 and I traveled a lot in this country before moving there, it explains the lack of French accent and to be quite frankly that's a very ugly accent. She finished laughing.

She smiled stupidly not knowing what to say next. She felt stupid to be destabilized by his eyes, mouth and gestures, like a 16-year-old girl whom for the first time discovered what it was to have feelings.

Skylar was scared to admit it, but she liked the way he grabbed his glass of whiskey-coke and was carried it to his lips. The way he passed his hand through his hair. She was also surprised to be attracted by this man who's not really her kind of man. He attracted her as much as he intrigued her and it had the effect of destabilizing her, but she liked that feeling. They left the bar a good hour later and as the perfect gentleman he was, he had payed everything despite the protests of the blonde.

- Do you live far from here? He asked once outside.
- I live 15 minutes from here by car.
- I live not very far from your place, if you want we can share a taxi, instead of taking separate direction unless you return home otherwise ...

Skylar wasn't against the idea of spending more time with him and accepted his proposal. Once in the taxi, the dancer offered him to take a last drink at home, which he accepted with pleasure.

The tension grow a little more between them as they entered the elevator that led to Skylar's apartment. Andy looked around him and regularly laid his blue eyes on the blonde girl. She then opened her front door letting him come in first and close the door behind her.

Skylar and Jenny's apartment was medium size. It was a three-room apartment of eighty square meters. The living room had a simple but warm decoration with cream, taupe, and white shades. There were some pictures hanging on the walls, two wall shelves on which rested books and movies of all kinds, also a mural TV, and a glass table in the middle of the room.

- You have a breathtaking view from here.
- Thank you. What do you want to drink ? She asked from the kitchen that was open in the living room.
- What you have...
- I have a lot of choices ...
- No matter, make it simple, depending on what you want ...

Skylar was increasingly destabilized. She who usually knew perfectly what she had to do, was totally confused about this man. She knew what she wanted but didn't really know if it was shared. In general, a men who agreed to have a last drink at your or his home had the firm intention of jumping on you as soon as the front door was closed and making love to you. But there, she couldn't know what this man was thinking. She swiveled to the fridge feeling his eyes on her, took two cokes and turned around looking at him in the eyes.

- A gin-coke, you like it?
- Why not...

He smiled at her once more, and again, she struggled to keep her cool. He settled down on the couch as she put the glasses down on the coffee table next to the place where he had put the cans that he uncapped. She snoop-around in the mini-bar looking for the Gin bottle and joined Andy on the couch.

- No need to put a lot of Gin, I think I have drunk enough for tonight!
- Do you often do this on a trip?
- What?
- Go for a walk in the city with your friends and go bar-hopping ...
- Hum ... it depends on my fatigue status or the others! I don't like going to a bar alone ... So in general if we're only two who want to party, we will rather walk in the city. And you, you often bring men home?
- It depends...

He's laughing. She liked to be with him but she had to make it clear this L.A guy once be in her bed will go away and never come back. They talked a little while drinking their drink. As she rested her drink on the table while listening to him their eyes met again. He stopped talking, his eyes became more intense and he began to approach her. He put a hand on her right cheek, bringing her face close to his without breaking their eyes contact.

Skylar closed her eyes slowly as his lips joined hers. She ran her hands under his t-shirt as their bodies came dangerously close. He began to unbutton the black blouse she was wearing as she climbed on top of him their mouths sealed to each other. She removed his belt as he laid her on the couch. Neither one nor two their clothes were on the ground announcing the beginning of a wild night.

Yeah I know too and that's true, that's absolutely not cool. Anyways, thank you to tell it to me because it could have been the case but don't worry it's all my works.

@PillbillyBlues
Okay, then. I just know that there's a problem with some people copying other writers work, and I wanted to be sure that wasn't the case, because that's totally not cool.

Yes, it's me. At the beginning I wrote it in French with the band Rammstein on my French Wattpad and I also wanted to do it with Black veil Brides and in English because first it's challenge me to write in English and secondly because I also like BVB so why not.
I just keep the original title on this plateforme and change it on Wattpad, so don't worry it's still my work ;)

My roommate just showed me this same story on Wattpad, but with a different title. Is this yours, or has someone copied you?

@Red Phoenix77 Yeah well, she's acting like a total bitch sometimes and think that important things for some people are less for her and vice versa. Basically she's a little annoying but with a big heart.
