What The... ZOMBIES!!! (Black Veil Brides x Y/N)

One

Y/N's P.O.V.

Looking at my finished warpaint in the bathroom mirror, I grinned. I had chosen to copy Andy's old 'We Stitch These Wounds' era warpaint style, 'cause, why the hell not? This was the first Black Veil brides concert I had ever attended, and I wanted to look good for it. I hate to admit it, but I had a slight tinge of hope that the band would notice me, even though I would only be another ordinary fan in a sea of more fans that would most likely be wearing the exact same things as me. Needless to say, that hope was a bit of a stretch. For the band to notice me, I'd probably have to get up on some random stranger's shoulders and start shooting people. But I obviously wasn't going to do that because it would lead to many problems if I did so. Not to mention I didn't really want to become a murderer... but besides all the want for attention from the band, the concert was going to be just as much fun as it would be if they didn't notice me.

I touched up a few minor errors on my warpaint, and skipped merrily out of the bathroom and into the hallway, a big grin still resting happily on my face. This was going to be the best day ever! I couldn't wait. I neared the end of the hallway, passing the various artworks of Australian landscapes, admiring them as I walked by. My mum's boyfriend has always been one to collect stuff like that. Although I don't quite understand why, he really likes it for some reason.

I reached the end of the hallway, swinging open the door that lead to the main room. The main room was called so because it was a big room consisting of the lounge room, the dining room and the kitchen. At the very far end of the room was an open fireplace. Surrounding the fireplace were more artworks. These ones were of multiple different animals. Deer, rhinos, and anything else you could think of.

"You ready to go, mate?" My mum asked from the kitchen bench. I glanced up at her, nodded my head and grinned widely.

"Do I look ready to you?" I replied. Her smile faulted and quickly turned into a pissed off frown, her mouth opening slightly, signaling she was about to tell me off for 'bad manners'. "Mum, chill. I was joking,"

"Well then... are you ready to go?"

"Yes mum, I am... but please don't call me mate,"

"Alright! I won't! Get in the car." Flinching at her sudden outburst, I hurried out the kitchen door, fast-walking to the black Subaru Outback. My mum has always had anger issues, she can't really help it. She has had anger issues her whole life, ever since she was young.

I got into the passenger side of the car, and my mother got into the driver's side. She jabbed the keys into the ignition, and the engine roared to life. Driving out of the driveway and down the countryside's winding roads, we headed towards the city. Our final destination would be at the Black Veil Brides concert I had waited months to go to. I could feel the excitement rushing through me as my heart pumped blood through my veins. The only thing to calm my excitement from sending me into overdrive, was the faint sound of the radio playing shitty 80's pop music. The techno beat of the song annoyed me, but I eventually managed to drown out the noise as I was overtaken by sleep.
