Bullets Hurt Less Than Love

Chapter 3

“You’re so adorable.” She said as she placed a kiss on my lips. I froze. She smiled winking at me.
The next day was a blur. We played and she sang some songs. The crazy thing was, no one knew who she was. As if she was a ghost.
After tour was over, CC invited her to stay at our house.
“Well, I guess so because you and I have some business to attend.”
“We do?” CC asked. Harley looked at him. CC shook his head.
“Not him. I can’t ruin his image.”
“Your image isn’t ruined, my love.” They whispered between each other while I took out my stuff. I waved at the driver to let him know it was okay to leave. I was alone with CC and Harley. Jake and Jinxx went to see their girls, while Ashley was probably out clubbing.
“Andrew, we need to speak to you.” I heard CC said, before I felt a piece of cloth on my face. I tried to fight, but it was no use. Everything went pitch black.
---------------------
I blinked my eyes open. My heart was pounding out of my chest. I was tied into a chair and tape covered my mouth. I looked around and saw CC in a chair, playing cards with some other guys.
I tried to free myself, but I made too much noise.
“You're awake darling!” I heard a familiar voice. I looked all over, trying to find who that was.
“Chris, can you take his tape off?” I heard the same girl.
CC walked up to me and carefully removed the tape.
“CC what is the meaning of this?!” I growled. “What the hell are you doing?!”
“Stay calm Andrew. It's going to be fine.” He replied.
“Fine?! I'm fucking tied to a chair!”
“But other than that no harm done!” He smiled nervously.
“Chris, bring him to the table.” I heard her again. CC untied me from the chair, but tied my hands together.
“You don't have to do this CC.”
“Actually. I do. Don't worry. You're not going to die tonight.” He winked and lead me.
We got to a small table. There were two chairs and two guys standing on each side of a chair. The chair was turned around, meaning I wasn't able to see who or what was behind it. My heart kept pounding, making me feel like it was going to burst at any given moment.
“You've been out for so long Andrew, I almost thought they actually killed you!” I heard a giggle. The chair turned around.
“Harley?!”
She smiled and took a sip of champagne.
“What the hell is this?!” I shouted.
“Be quiet and sit down darling. We have some talking to do.” She smiled. “I bet you're starving.” She said as she snapped her fingers, and the two men went into another room.
“Harley. I need explanations. Now!” I said.
CC pushed me down into the chair. I looked up at him madly. How could he?
“You'll get them darling.” She said as a plate with food on it. “As soon as we start eating.” She smiled.
“No! I need them now!” She sighed.
“Very well. I want you in my team, Andy.” She smiled softly.
“Your team?”
“My mob. Company, whatever you'd like to call it.”
She said.
“I'm no murderer.”
“Oh sweetness. No. We don't kill much around here. We just, you know. Hurt those who don't pay us back.” She smiled.
“Well I don't hurt people!”
“Don't yell at me.” She said, looking at me sternly.
“Let me go!”
“You really don't understand the situation you're on now."
"Enlighten me then." I spat out.
"Oscar, Dylan!" She snapped her fingers. Right away, two guys around my age ran towards her.
"Bring me the book."
"Oh, are you going to kill me with a book? Untie me!"
"No can do Andrew." Harley sniffed.
"Help! I'm being held captive! Help!!"
"Ugh!" She took out a gun, and held it right between my eyes. "Shut the hell up before I make your death seem like an accident."
"Y-you wouldn't dare..."
"Would you cooperate?" She asked angrily. I nodded.
"Good." She sighed.
"You make this hard on yourself I swear." She rolled her eyes. She blinked a couple of times, and smiled lightly.
"Okay, down to business."
