I set his coffee on the table and grabbed my wallet. I walked down our apartment stairs and into the San Diego sun. I sighed and walked hurriedly down the street.

I walked towards the supermarket near by to go buy his cigarets like i did every morning. I just hoped I got back in time.

I walked in the small store and went to the desk . I went to walk out when I remembered he needed lighters too. I walked down the isles In a rush looking for them when I heard laughter.


It was familiar but I couldn't figure out who's laugh it was. I listened closely and instantly my heart froze. I needed to get out of here. I stepped out of one isle quickly and collided with another person sending me to the ground.

" shit "

" oh my god I'm so sorry!" A girl said.

It was her. Sammi. I kept my head down.

" it's okay " I whispered avoiding eye contact. Maybe she won't recognize me.

She reached her hand out and I cautiously took it. She lifted me up and when I went to pull away her grasp tightened.

" I'm really sor-"she turned me towards her and starred at me wide eyes.

" j-Jess " she stuttered. I was silent. i stood frozen. She grabbed me and brought me Into a hug which I returned.

" oh my god oh my fucking god I've missed you!" She sobbed Into my shoulder. I sighed so much for avoiding my past.

" I' missed you too Sammi.." I croaked.

" ELLA ! JULIET!" She shouted and I knew I was in for it. At least the guys weren't thee.

" Sammi I have To go " I said nervously , I was late for DJ.


She grasped me tighter just as Ella and Juliet came out of a isle.

" Sammi what's wrong" they asked. Sammi turned around and shoved me in front of her.

" Jess..?!" Juliet asked gasping. Her and Ella ran to me and grabbed me.

" oh my god" they said into me. I hugged back. I missed them.

They pulled away.

" you have to see the guys! They need to see you!" Ella said

" no I can't" I said

" Jess"Sammi said but I shook my head.

" I have to go my boyfriends waiting for me" I said hurriedly.Sammi took my hands and put the bracelets up revealing the bruises.

" oh my god Jess, he beats you doesn't he?" Juliet asked

" just drop it , I have to go" I said and they gripped tighter.

" guys I have to go, I love you it was great seeing you but just forget me" I said ripping out of their grip and running out the door. I sprinted down the sidewalk avoiding people. I heard the girls after me but I pushed faster. I cut behind a store and turned onto the street with my apartment. I slowed to a walk and checked my phone. 8:15 fuck. I ran to the building and into the elevator. I pushed the 2. Floor button and hurriedly made my way there. I got in and saw DJ sitting at the table.

" hey babe.." I said and he turned around standing up.

" what the fuck took you so long you little slut ?" He hissed walking to me. He grabbed the cigarets from my hand.

" I'm sorry" I said just as he slapped my cheek. A stinging pain shot in my cheek and I grabbed it.

" your such a failure you can't even get home in time, I love you ,and you repay me by being a careless bitch?" He asked pushing me to the wall. He shoved me harder against it and stormed out the door slamming it on the way out. I slid down the wall.

We sat in the hotel waiting for the girls. Why were they gone so long?

All of the sudden the door burst open and Sammi bolted in.

" wooh wooh what's wrong" jinxx asked walking to his girl friend.

She tried to catch her breath. Where were the others?

" I I saw" she began but couldn't make out words

" who'd you see?" Ashley asked curiously

" Jess" she said hurriedly and our eyes went wide.

" you saw her ?! Where is she! Where did you see her?!" Cc asked standing up an running to her

" I saw her at the store I crashed into her, she had bruises all over her body. I asked her if it was her boyfriend and she just said to drop it then ran off. " she huffed. My heart sank into my feet.

" she's getting beaten.?"Ashley asked and Sammi nodded

" I'm pretty sure, Juliet and Ella ran after her trying to catch her" she said just as they ran in.

" did you catch up with her?" Sammi asked and they shook their heads.

" no she was too fast" Ella huffed

" fuck" Andy cursed rubbing his fingers in his hair.juliet went to him and kissed his cheek.

Cc was slumped In the chair head in hands.

" cc?" Ashley asked.

" it's my fuckig fault, if It wasn't for me she'd still be here, she wouldn't be getting beaten" he said gripping his head. Ashley patted his shoulder.

" it's okay man it's not your fault you had no control , think of it this way. We know she's in San Diego and we know she's near by because she was on foot right?" Ashley asked looking towards Sammi. She nodded.

" okay so what exactly happened?" Jinxx asked sitting down next to me. Andy was on the other couch with ash and cc while the girls stood up.

" we'll i was in a isle and was walking when someone bumped into me. They fell down and I helped them up when I saw it was her, she looked terrified and in a rush, we hugged then I called them and ella said she had to see you guys. she said you hated her and cc left her, then she ran off to get back to her boyfriend and told us to forget about her " Sammi said and I saw everyone's face sadden.

" sh-she thinks we hate her" Andy said

" I could never hate her, I hate that she left but I miss her" Ashley said and my ears rung. I need her.



" wait, if she lives nearby can't we search the phone book?" Jinxx asked and my eyes grew wide.

" I fucking love you my little genius" I said jumping up and running to the table that carried a phone book on it.


" what if it's not her name but her boyfriends" Andy said next to me.

" they aren't married so it should be hers" I said as I flipped to the H's.

I was in the living room watching Teen mom when I heard a knock. I opened the door and my eyes grew wide when I saw Sammi Ella and Juliet standing there.

I went to close it but Sammi shoved it open . They stepped inside and closed the door standing in front of me.

" how- how did you find me" I asked stumbling on words.

" I think the bigger question is why the fuck did you leave?! "Juliet asked. I sighed running my had through my hair.
