Mistake or New Opportunity?

It is still the same damn day. The day we get our blood reports back and there has to be a mistake in mine. it says my blood type is AB. my blood type is A. Moms was A and dads is A. so why is mine AB? That question has lingered with me all day long I waited until my dad got home, unfortunately, today is always the day he gets home early and has pool league. so I might be up all night. While I was doing homework at the kitchen table I feel hands on my arms and then he said "Hey Beautiful"

I instantly recognized the voice as Daltons "Who's Tabbitha?" I asked.
"I don't know."
Liar. "you sure?"
"Yep. Whats this about darling?"
I completely ignored his answer and pulled out my phone thanks to his brother I got pictures. "really cuz I think ya do" I handed him my phone then my dad walked in.
I walk out of the room because I know I'm going to get my ass chewed out.
From my room, I heard the door slam and a few minutes later my dad walked in and I asked: "What is your blood type?"
"A. Why?"
"I got my blood tests back today. and it says that I am AB but I know mom was type A."
" I was worried about this."
"About what?"
" I guess you're old enough to know now."
"Know what?"
" .......... well when your mother was diagnosed with cancer it wasn't the first time she had it."

"What so now you've been lying to me to my face for what my whole life?!"

"Will you please hear me out? and listen?"

"..." I didn't want to but I need o know.
"when Marisol was in high school she had to move schools to be closer to a hospital because of the type of cancer she had. one day in mid-August I saw her run into the restroom and I was worried. I didn't even know her name all that I knew we had a special new student. I followed her in the stall and I heard heaving. Then saw blood on the floor i picked her u and took her to the nurse. where from there she was transported to a hospital. several years later we ran into each other again and it was love at first sight.we then had several arguments and we.... took an ah break. when we got married she told me that she was pregnant and that she was in remission. she said that no matter how young love is timeless. her mother told her that and her mother and her mother. I know she wanted to tell you that too."
I could tell the story was still hard for him to tell so I got up from my swingy chair and hugged him tightly.
"Before I tell you this just always remember you are my daughter blood or not."
" Daddy?"
" I am not your biological father Sakura."
this was all too much to handle. all at once. i finally ask the question i have wondered the past three years " What kind of cancer did mum have?"
"Spidel Cell Sarcoma." ill just let you get some ret if you need me ill be downstairs i already canceled pool tonight. i told them my daughter needs me . Love you."
"Love you too daddy . "
