Picture Perfect?

ASHLEY'S POV :

"Did you guys see that ?" , Jinxx asks , with a rather puzzled look on his face .
"Could you possibly be a little more specific ?" , Andy responds .
"Uh , some sort of a large yellow thing going past the door ."
"That's the dude who's dressed up like a giant banana ." , Dev informs him . "I ran into him earlier . He says he's a journalist or something ."
"Ooo - kay , then !" , I say . "I've seen people at our Halloween shows dressed as us before , or Kiss or Motley , even the occasional zombie or vampire , but a banana ? That's definitely a first !"
"I guess he wants to stand out ." , Juliet theorizes . "I just hope he wasn't planning on sitting down ."
"Or going to the bathroom !" , Dev giggles .
We're currently backstage doing our makeup , with Dev and Jules hanging out on the sofa . Alice went back home a couple of days ago , to go back to work , and Juliet joined up with us this morning . So Andy's definitely a happy camper , and I'm just glad that I have Dev here for another five days .
The five of us are in our stage clothes , of course , but the girls and most of the crew are wearing some sort of costume . The girls helped Jesse and Jon out with their outfits , and have Jesse done up as Lurch from "The Addams Family" , while Jon is Uncle Fester . Yanni has dressed himself up as Rambo , and most of the rest of the crew look like extras from "The Walking Dead" .
But the best of the bunch are definitely Juliet and Dev . Jules has rigged herself up in a skintight black spandex jumpsuit to look like Catwoman , complete with a tail and ears , and Dev is the sexiest fucking pirate wench I've ever seen . Knee high black patent - leather pirate boots , skintight black pants laced up the sides ,showing skin from the tops of the boots to the waist . ( Obviously nothing under there . Damn ! Good thing we have a room tonight . ) Then a bright blue low - cut blouse under a laced up black corset - type vest that shoves her boobs almost up under her chin , and a pirate hat on top of that fabulous hair .
" You look incredibly hot in that , babe" . I tell her . "But I kinda want to throw my jacket over you , too , so no one else can look at those gorgeous tits of yours ."
" Now you know how I feel sometimes about all of the girls drooling over you when you take your shirt off ." , she says . "Sometimes I just want to tell 'em 'Keep your eyes off , that's mine !' "
"Damn straight it is !" , I say , slipping my arms around her waist and pulling her tight against me . I connect my lips with hers for a kiss , trying to keep from transferring my warpaint to her as I do , not entirely successfully .
She laughs , and we take a selfie before going back to the mirror for her to clean her face , and for me to repair the damage to mine before we have to hit the stage .
Finally , Jon gives us the ten minute warning , and we get ready to go out . I give her a final peck , and Andy does the same with Juliet , then we run out to take our spots , and give everyone the best show we can .

DEVLIN'S POV :

Juliet and I are standing at the side of the stage , watching the guys put on an amazing set , and I'm getting some terrific pictures .
"Look at these crazy motherfuckers out here tonight !" , Andy bellows into the mic . "We've got zombies , there's the Grim Reaper over there , and we saw a fucking banana walking around backstage ! Trick - or - fucking - treat , people !"
Ash is working the stage , shirtless as usual , and the bass I gave him as a wedding gift slung around his neck . He makes his way over to our side of the stage , and gives me a wink .
As he does , we hear a voice from the group of fans who have the backstage passes grumbling , "Well of course she'd have to be at THIS fucking show ! If she wasn't here , I'd have a shot at him ."
We look around and see a busty bottle - blonde in a red vinyl strapless dress looking at me , pouting , with her arms crossed underneath her boobs .
"Dream on , honey , I've seen him ignore better - looking girls than you ." , Juliet laughs , and the girl flushes and turns her back in a huff .
"That'll change eventually ." , another voice says from the back of the crowd . "His attention span isn't all that long , he'll get bored and find another toy . That's how SHE got him ."
Juliet's eyebrows shoot up , and I'm rather startled myself , because we both recognize that voice .
"You're so full of shit your eyes should be brown , Tanya !" , I inform my ex - roommate . "And apparently , you must be a glutton for punishment , after what happened the last time we were in a room together ."
"And he didn't just get bored with you , he was pretty much revolted when he walked in on you half - naked with a married man , you dumb slut !", Juliet retorts .
" That's what you'd like everybody to believe , isn't it ?" , she says defensively .
"I've still got the pictures stored in my phone , bitch ! It would be no trouble at all to post them if you want me to prove it to everybody ." , Juliet announces to the crowd , and Tanya scowls at her .
Things suddenly get quieter , and everyone but Jinxx walks offstage , as he's preparing to play "Overture" . They make their way over to us , giving Tanya unfriendly looks .
"What the fuck are you doing here ?" , CC asks her , in an uncharacteristically hostile tone .
"I thought I'd come and see if Ash had regained his senses , since we all know he's not cut out for married life . I thought maybe he'd be ready to ditch the old ball and chain and have some fun again ."
"I regained my senses the night I finally wised up and dumped your ass !" , he snarls at her . "And on what planet is it anyone's idea of fun to sit around half the time wondering who your so- called girlfriend is out fucking when she says she's 'working' . You made it crystal - clear how little I meant to you when you blew off my granddad's funeral to 'work' , when you were really whoring around with somebody else's husband !"
When he says this , the rest of the crowd starts giving her dirty looks , and some very unpleasant names are suddenly being thrown around . The guys exchange a look , then Ash motions to Yanni and one of the other security guys .
They walk over , and Andy says , "The blonde in the pink miniskirt . Escort her out , and make sure she can't get back in ."
"You can't fucking do that , you assholes ! I paid for my goddamn ticket !" , she screeches .
"Maybe so , but you're a security risk ." , Yanni says , rather gleefully , as they each take her by one arm . "If you stay , someone is likely to get hurt . Therefore , you can't stay ."
They lead her away , still shrieking obscenities at us , and the guys just sort of shake their heads , Ash gives me a quick kiss ,and they head back to the stage .
" Well , that was an adventure !", I say .
"Sure , if that's what you want to call it ." , Juliet replies .
The girl who was originally upset about me being here looks at me again ,and says , "Well , I'm still jealous of you , but if I can't have him , I guess it's at least good that he's with somebody that isn't a whore ."
"Thanks , I guess ." , I say , and Juliet sort of snickers .
"Yanni looked awfully happy to take her out of here ." , I remark to Jules .
"Oh , he never liked her , I think that probably made his day !" , she giggles . "So I guess that counts as his 'treat' for tonight "
"And she was the trick !" , we both say in unison .
"And they get their treats after the show ." , she reminds me .
"Yeah , and so do we !" , I say ."I can't speak for you , but that'll be the high point of MY day !"
She nods in agreement , any we turn to finish watching the show , waiting until we can get our guys to ourselves for our own private Halloween parties .
