More Than One

My hand's were shaking as we walked into my apartment.
"You can put the food on the bar" he walked over to the breakfast bar and sat everything down.
I looked over to my bill table and scoop up all the mail and flipped it over where Andy couldn't see the big red URGENT stamps.
"This is a nice place Sara" I smiled and made my way over to the bar. Pulling out all the food I noticed he was eyeing Craig's sketch book on the coffee table. Panic set in as I ran over and scooped up his sketches and binder then threw them in my room.
"Those were nice Sara. Do you have an interest in fashion?"
I sigh and hand him his food.
"uh.... no. Those weren't mine." He nodded and watched me walk to go get my food and come back. we both sat and ate with polite small talk.
About half way through it was obvious Andy was getting restless. The way he fidgeted and diverted eye contact.
"what's wrong Andy?" i asked. I don't think I blacked out. At least I hoped not.
"What was that about at the chinese place....you just kinda froze."
Oh God what do I blame this on. Panicking i tried to think of an excuse and I came up blank. Of course no one else had anything to say the minute I needed them. I was pulled from my thoughts as there was a knock on the door.
I already knew who it was before answering it and this could be really bad or really good for me.
"Flynn!" I exclaimed when I opened the door. "Hey Sara how's it going?" he puled me into a hug and walked in. As he pulled away he saw Andy.
"Hello"
Andy waved back with a slight smile obviously upset.
"I'm gonna steal her for a second in the kitchen."
Flynn pulled me to the kitchen and set his planner down.
"First," Oh god he's gonna talk about Andrew and ask 'WHY HAVEN'T YOU TOLD HIM ITS NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF'!?!?!? he cleared his throat then said,
"we need to discuss a time for next week's appointment. I was in the area so I decided to stop by. How are the others doing?"
should i tell him about the chinese place? It would only be leverage for him to try and get me to tell Andy about my DID.....but it was kind of important. If i want to get better have to be completely honest. This is gonna be hard.
"Well...."
"spit it out"
I lowered my voice more as if Andy could hear us and explained what happened.
"They all argued and wouldn't shut up. it made my head hurt."
He knodded.
"Okay and who's he?" he gestured towards Andy and i couldn't help but smile.
"That's Andy-"
"Have you told him?"
"No"
"Why?"
sighing with frustration I just stare at him. waiting for his rant.
"Sara don't be ashamed of this. You can't go your whole life hiding with no human contact except me and expect to get better. That's not how this works. What if I helped you tell him? Went in there with you and explained everything?"
As soon as he finished Kattalina came out with my frustration.
"NO! We do NOT need to let that hottie know we are secretly a freak. That's Not how this is gonna go."
"you are not a fre-"
"Like hell we're not."
"Let me talk to Sara."
"NO!"
I can't believe Flynn wants to ruin anything that could possibly be with andy. How rude. I'm sick and tired of this doctor and his crappy medical degree or whatever.
"Let me talk to her now"
Sara took the light from me.
"yes. yes Flynn im back- im back"
He nodded and put a hand on my shoulder.
"you need to tell him and next week we're gonna meet at 6. ok?"
i nodded and he grabbed his stuff and made his way out. waving to Andy goodbye.
"Nice to meet you!" Andy said then Flynn was gone.
"Is he your boyfriend?" Andrew asked as I sat down again.
I nearly choked when he asked me.
"Flynn? oh no no no. He's my doctor."
"you're that close with your doctor?"
I was silent as i thought of an answer. Ignoring the screams in my head telling me not to do it i focussed on the ones who encouraged me.
"He's what i call a feelings doctor. A phychologist."
"Why do you need a phycologist?"
I swallowed hard as my nerves made me shake.
"um. Andy there's something you need to know."
I sat my food down to face him and he did the same.
My stomach turned and I realized i couldn't do it. Hunter my number one supporter took the light.
"Andy I have multiple personality disorder"
